정보원천의 다양성과 R&D연구소 설치운영이 중소기업의 혁신성과에 미치는 영향

This study attempts to examine how small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) deliver innovation-related performances. We first propose that utilizing more diverse information sources from the outside will positively affect the SMEs’ innovation outcomes because exploratory search for relevant knowledge from diverse sources provides more opportunities for SMEs to find out proper solutions to innovations. Next, this study suggests that the operation of independent research and development research institute is a crucial strategy because R&D institute, as an innovation-generating power engine, Will help SMEs not only to focus on the importance of innovation, but also to understand which information is more relevant to their innovation activities. Lastly, we propose a moderation effect in which the operation of independent R&D institute will strengthen the positive effect of diverse information sources on the innovation outcomes measured by the market introduction of innovative novel products. The hypotheses are statistically tested using Korea Innovation Survey 2010: Manufacturing Industry. The findings of logistic regression analysis support all the hypotheses. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed. 본 연구는 중소기업의 혁신성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 혁신에 관한 정보원천의 다양성과 혁신을 수행하는 기업 내부 기관으로 기업연구소의 설치운영을 제안하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구는 다음의 세 가지 연구가설을 제안한다. 첫째, 혁신에 필요한 정보를 취득할 수 있는 정보원천은 다양성을 확보할수록 혁신성과를 낼 확률이 높을 것이다. 둘째, 혁신을 수행하는 데 주력할 수 있는 기업연구소를 설치운영을 할수록 혁신성과를 낼 수 있는 확률이 높을 것이다. 셋째, 정보원천의 다양성으로부터 혁신성과를 낼 확률은 기업연구소를 설치운영을 하는 경우 더욱 높아질 것이다. 가설 검증을 위하여 본 연구는 과학기술정책연구원(STEPI)이 격년으로 실시하는 기업혁신조사에서 수집한 제조업 대상의 데이터를 활용하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 본 연구의 연구가설은 모두 지지된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 중소기업의 혁신성과 함양에 있어 다양한 정보원천의 확보와 기업연구소의 설치운영이 지니는 가치를 강조함으로써, 중소기업의 혁신활동에 관한 경영적 시사점을 제공한다.
고분자 기판과 PECVD 절연막에 따른 ITZO 박막 트랜지스터의 특성 분석

We examined the characteristics of indium tin zinc oxide (ITZO) thin film transistors (TFTs) on polyimide (PI) substrates for next-generation flexible display application. In this study, the ITZO TFT was fabricated and analyzed with a SiOx/SiNx gate insulator deposited using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) below $350^{\circ}C$. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) results revealed that the oxygen vacancies and impurities such as H, OH and $H_2O$ increased at ITZO/gate insulator interface. Our study suggests that the hydrogen related impurities existing in the PI and gate insulator were diffused into the channel during the fabrication process. We demonstrate that these impurities and oxygen vacancies in the ITZO channel/gate insulator may cause degradation of the electrical characteristics and bias stability. Therefore, in order to realize high performance oxide TFTs for flexible displays, it is necessary to develop a buffer layer (e.g., $Al_2O_3$) that can sufficiently prevent the diffusion of impurities into the channel.
전자 사이클로트론 공명 플라즈마와 열 원자층 증착법으로 제조된 Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 박막의 물리적·전기적 특성 비교

Aluminum-oxide($Al_2O_3$) thin films were deposited by electron cyclotron resonance plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition at room temperature using trimethylaluminum(TMA) as the Al source and $O_2$ plasma as the oxidant. In order to compare our results with those obtained using the conventional thermal ALD method, $Al_2O_3$ films were also deposited with TMA and $H_2O$ as reactants at $280^{\circ}C$. The chemical composition and microstructure of the as-deposited $Al_2O_3$ films were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photo-electric spectroscopy(XPS), atomic force microscopy(AFM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Optical properties of the $Al_2O_3$ films were characterized using UV-vis and ellipsometry measurements. Electrical properties were characterized by capacitance-frequency and current-voltage measurements. Using the ECR method, a growth rate of 0.18 nm/cycle was achieved, which is much higher than the growth rate of 0.14 nm/cycle obtained using thermal ALD. Excellent dielectric and insulating properties were demonstrated for both $Al_2O_3$ films.

The purpose of this study is to survey the circumstances of sniping warfare and to prove the importance of usage of snipers. The research method was referred to the history of foreign warfares and autobiographies, articles, and testimonies of snipers. Also, various news reports were also studied to collect information. The content of this study investigates the circumstances of sniping combat scenes from its first appearance in the world's major warfares to contemporary ones. Also, the research contains the history of weapons, ammunition, rifles, and the principle of rifle shooting including ballistics. We hope this study provides ROK Army and government agencies the foundation of sniping and thereby improving the effectiveness of correspondence to international conflicts and terrorism.
