With the internationalization of English, many English words are used as loanwords around the world. These English loanwords can bring about confusion, however, as the semantic usage of a loanword often differs from region to region. Therefore, it is important to examine how the semantic adaptation of a given English loanword has occurred when it is introduced into the lexicon of a country. The word vector model has been used to study semantic changes. In this paper, using these techniques, we investigate the semantic adaptation of English loanwords in Japanese and Korean. In addition, we investigate the correlation between the number of meanings of original English words and cosine similarity. As a result, we have brought a new insight into the computational contrastive semantics.

This study analyzes microplastics which drawing attention globally by exctracting topics from the related news articles. Over the period from 2001 to 2022, articles pertaining to microplastics were collected, and topic modeling, based on Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) algorithms, was employed to extract a total of 10 topics. These topics predominantly reflected recent public interest in areas such as life and health, environmental pollution, disposal waste and recycling, policy management, civil activity, products of companies. The results indicate that when addressing the microplastic issue, policies should be primarily formulated with a focus on public health and safety perspectives. Additionally, there is a belief that cooperative measures are imperative to facilitate international research on the worldwide distribution and movement of marine microplastics, as well as to promote international cooperation for their reduction.

동형 암호 기술은 최근 널리 연구되고 있는 유망한 기술로서, 데이터를 암호화한 상태에서도 연산이 가능하게 하는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 서지통계학적 분석을 통해 6,047개의 동형 암호 논문을 대상으로 연구 동향을 체계적으로 분석한다. 구체적으로 연도별 논문 수 분석, 키워드 상관관계, 주제 군집 분석, 동형 암호 관련 키워드의 연도별 변화 분석, 그리고 동형 암호 연구 수행 기관의 국가 분석을 통해 동형 암호 기술의 연구 동향을 객관적이고 정량적으로 분석한다. 이러한 분석 결과는 동형 암호를 연구하고 활용하는데 필요한 전략적인 방향성을 제공하며, 이는 후속 연구, 산업 응용 등에 큰 도움이 될 것이다. Homomorphic encryption is a promising technology that has been extensively researched in recent years. It allows computations to be performed on encrypted data, without the need to decrypt it. In this paper, we perform bibliometric analysis to objectively and quantitatively analyze the research trends of homomorphic encryption technology using 6,047 homomorphic encryption papers from the Scopus database. Specifically, we analyze the number of papers by year, keyword co-occurrence, topic clustering, changes in related keywords over time, and country of homomorphic encryption research institutions. Our analysis results provide strategic directions for research and application of homomorphic encryption and can be a great help for subsequent research and industrial applications.

온라인 플랫폼을 통한 애널리스트 보고서의 공유가 가능해짐에 따라 애널리스트들이 생성한 보고서는 시장 참여자들 간 금융 정보 격차를 줄일 수 있는 유용한 도구가 되었으며, 애널리스트 보고서의 정량적 정보가 주식수익률 예측에 다수 활용되었다. 하지만 상대적으로 애널리스트 보고서 내 텍스트 정보의 주식수익률 예측 정보력에 대한 국내 자료 기반 연구는 상대적으로 많이 부족하다. 본 연구는 애널리스트 보고서에서 추출 가능한 텍스트로부터 어조 변수를 생성하여 주식수익률 예측에 정보력이 있는지를 검증하되, 기존 연구들의 선형모형 가정 기반 검정의 한계를 해결하고자 랜덤 포레스트 기반의 F-test를 사용하여 기업수익률 예측력을 검증하였다. As sharing of analyst reports became widely available, reports generated by analysts have become a useful tool to reduce difference in financial information between market participants. The quantitative information of analyst reports has been used in many ways to predict stock returns. However, there are relatively few domestic studies on the prediction power of text information in analyst reports to predict stock returns. We test stock return predictability of text in analyst reports by creating variables representing the TONE from the text. To overcome the limitation of the linear-model-assumption-based approach, we use the random-forest-based F-test.

토픽모델링을 활용한 ‘산업연구’ 학술지 분석 - 과거와 미래에 대한 고찰 -

This paper aims to analyze the 『Journal of Industrial Studies』 by applying textual analysis. The topic modeling LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) technique and word cloud analysis were performed by extracting the titles and Korean summaries of the papers from the first volume 1 published in 1979 to the 45th volume in 2021. Through this, it was evaluated what topics the papers have covered so far and how the topics have changed. In addition, it was attempted to explore the future direction of the Journal of Industrial Studies through comparison with similar academic journals. As a result of the analysis, 10 topics could be identified through the LDA method, of which 6 were related to business administration and 4 to economics. Journal of Industrial Studies has been appropriately conducting research on topics required by the times. Lastly, when compared with 4 similar journals, Journal of Industrial Studies was the best at the impact factor (IF), but were not enough in published volume. For continuous development, the biggest challenge is to increase the number of papers issued in the journal while maintaining the impact factor. 본 연구는 텍스트 분석을 적용하여 『산업연구』 학술지를 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 산업연구의 1979년 발행된 초판 1권부터 2021년 45권까지의 논문의제목과 국문 요약을 추출하여 토픽모델링 LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation) 기법과 워드 크라우드(word cloud) 분석을 시행하였다. 이를 통해 산업연구 논문들이 지금까지 어떤 주제를 다루었는지, 또한 주제들이 어떻게 변화되어 왔는지 평가하였다. 또한 유사 학술지와 비교를 통해 산업연구가 향후 나가야할 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, LDA 기법을 통해 10개의 토픽을 특정할수 있었으며, 이중 6개는 경영학과 4개는 경제학과 연관이 깊었다. 산업연구는해당 시대가 요구하는 주제에 대한 연구를 적절하게 수행해오고 있었다. 마지막으로 산업연구와 유사학술지 4개와 비교하였을 때, 산업연구가 발행 논문수는부족하지만 영향력지수(Impact Factor, IF)는 가장 우수하였다. 지속적 발전을위해 앞으로 논문 발행수를 늘리면서도 영향력 지수를 유지하는 것이 가장 큰과제라 하겠다.
