This study aims to explain the process of providing important medical images for the diagnosis of pneumonia caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) through the only mobile hospital computed tomography (CT) in Korea. Since January 28, 2020, medical imaging examinations have been provided to confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients, and the quality of images was evaluated based on the objective and subjective indicators. In order to prevent the transmission in the hospital that may occur due to exposure to medical staff and general patients, personal protective equipment was worn and the separate route was used blocking human infection factors. For 11 weeks, a total of 185 tests were performed for 98 confirmed patients and 72 suspected patients. The average time to complete the test was 33 minutes. In the course of the test, no cross-infection cases were examined. During the outbreak of the COVID-19, the only mobile hospital CT room of Korea provided medical imaging examinations without infection among medical staff and patients and also provided adequate medical images without significant difference (p >0.05) in determining the degree of pneumonia progression compared to a stationary in-hospital CT.

Objectives : This study examined the relationship between the frequency of conversation about radiation and anxiety among aircrew who are exposed to cosmic radiation. Methods : We executed an online survey for aircrew in September 2019 in order to identify the frequency of conversation about radiation as an independent variable and radiation anxiety as a dependent variable. We identified the general characteristics of the aircrew and performed a univariable linear regression analysis to investigate the relationship between frequency of conversation about radiation and anxiety. After that, we performed multivariable linear regression analysis with adjusting for age, gender, and radiation knowledge scores. Results : The frequency of conversation about radiation between fellow aircrew was 10.3±13.0 times per year while the frequency of conversation between non-aircrew members was 5.0±9.6 times. The radiation anxiety was 4.36±0.47 points. Radiation anxiety according to the frequency of conversation showed statistically significant result with a p-value less than 0.05 in both univariable and multivariable linear regression analysis results. Conclusions : Radiation anxiety among Korean aircrew increased as frequency of conversation about radiation increased.

Objectives: This study identified factors impacting radiation knowledge among aircrew, who are affected by cosmic radiation exposure due to their occupational environment. Methods: In September 2019 we conducted an online survey of aircrew through a Google link. We evaluated the level of radiation knowledge using a ten-item (10 points) questionnaire. The following exploratory variables were evaluated in relationship with the level of radiation knowledge using univariable linear regression models: sex, age, duration of employment, position level, company, marriage, education level, personal/family history of disease, and the number of times acquiring information on radiation through various channels (internet searching, watching television, reading newspaper, conversation about radiation with aircrew/non-aircrew, in-house training). With a p of 0.2 in univariable models, we built a multivariable linear regression model using a stepwise selection method. Results: The average radiation knowledge score of the 356 respondents was 7.22. Univariable linear regression analysis showed that radiation knowledge of the aircrew was associated with their company, position level, age, and number of conversations with other aircrew members. Our multivariable model showed that the radiation knowledge level of aircrew decreased as they had more conversations about radiation with other aircrew members and as their age increased. Conclusions: Korean air crew showed a lower level of radiation knowledge as their age and the number of conversations with colleagues increased. The study suggests that more education is needed in order for aircrew to gain accurate radiation knowledge.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting Bisphenol A (BPA) exposure in children and adolescents using the results of the Korean National Environmental Health Survey (KoNEHS) cycle 3. Methods: A total of 2,380 subjects (n=571, 887, and 922 for 3-5, 6-11, and 12-17 years of age, respectively) were analyzed using an environmental exposure survey and environmental chemical substances concentration levels. Univariable linear regression analysis was performed to determine associated variables such as sex, age, income level, housing type, secondhand smoke time, cup noodles and canned food consumption, seafood consumption, new furniture (within the previous six months), drinking water type, and consumption of herbal medicines. Variables with p-values of less than 0.2 were extracted from the results and a multivariable linear regression analysis was performed using stepwise selection. Results: Univariable linear regression analysis showed positive associations between BPA concentration levels and variables including sex, age, secondhand smoke time, new furniture (within the previous six months), renovated living space (within the previous six months), fish and shellfish consumption, plastic-bottled drink consumption, and herbal medicine. As a result of performing multivariable linear regression analysis, the lower was the age the higher was the concentration of BPA levels. Additionally, women showed higher BPA levels than those of men. The more frequently fish was consumed, the higher was the BPA concentration. Moreover, higher BPA concentrations were observed when taking herbal medicine. Conclusions: The main factors affecting BPA concentration levels were age, gender, and consumption of fish and herbal medicine.

Fisheries resources has been decreasing for years and years. For many years fisheries researcher have debated its management and regulation. Much yet studies are necessary about the fisheries resources and regulation. The more fisheries resources must be preserved continually. The primary goal of this study is to survey a fisheries resources in south-eastern sea area of Geomundo. The method of trawl survey conduct to fishing survey through cod-end of trawl and its cover net. The surveys are carried out 2 days on 26<SUP>th</SUP> Oct. and 29<SUP>th</SUP> Oct. in 2015 by the training ship “Dong Baek” of Chonnam National University. The results obtained can be summarized as follows; 1. The total fish species caught by trawl net during the 4 times survey for 2 days were 20 species in cod-end and 6 species in cover net. In cod-end the first superior was Pagrus major, the next Uroteuthis chinensis, the third Zeus faber Linnaeus and in cover net the first superior species is Pagrus major, the next Aulopus japonicus Günther, the third Trachurus japonicus. 2. In individual numbers the most fish body length size caught by trawl net was 150 mm in cod-end and 100 mm in cover net 3. In individual numbers the most fish body depth size caught by trawl net was 100 mm in cod-end and 50 mm in cover net. 4. The fish weight size caught by trawl net was, for the most part, over 50 g in cod-end and from 11 g to 20 g in cover net.

본 연구는 저층 트롤어구의 끝 자루그물코에 대한 연구 방안의 하나로 소리도 남단 해역과 거문도 남단 해역에서 저층 트롤어망의 끝 자루그물에 외장망(cover net)을 부착하여 트롤 조업에 의한 어획 조사를 실시하였으며 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1차 조사는 소리도 남방해역을 중심으로 시험 조업을 행하였으며 어획된 어획물의 종조성은 전갱이, 장어, 히메치, 성대, 아귀 순으로 나타났으며 총 어획 어종은 20종이 어획되었다. 2차 조사에서는 제주도 북동 해역을 중심으로 시험 조업을 행하였으며 어획된 어획물의 우점종의 순위는 전갱이, 참돔, 두툽상어, 달고기, 갈전갱이, 한치, 달강어, 쏨뱅이 순으로 나타났으며 총 어획 어종은 17종이 어획되었다. 주어구의 끝 자루그물(그물코 60mm)에서 탈출된 어족생물은 1차에서 9종, 2차에서는 7종이 탈출되었으며, 탈출된 어종의 체장은 200mm 이하가 대부분으로 어족 자원의 보호를 위한 그물코의 규제가 반드시 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 앞으로 더욱 더 효과적인 시험연구를 위하여서는 어족생물의 체장은 물론 체고에 대한 조사도 필요함이 요구되어졌다. 어족생물의 탈출어에 대한 시각적인 판단에 의한 생존율은 예상되었던 것과는 다르게 거의 90% 이상의 생존율을 기록하여 실제 어획이 이루어지고 있는 현장에서는 아마도 거의 생존되어 탈출되리라고 생각되었다. The resources of fish are serious on account of fishing excessively without protection on small fish. The primary goal of this study is to survey fishing product of bottom trawl with cod-end and cover net to protect of small fish. The survey was conducted Dong Baek in the training ship of the Chonnam National University on 31th July and 5th November, 2014. The results are as follows, 1. The total fish specious caught by trawl net during the 2 times survey were 20 species at 1st survey and 17 species at 2nd survey respectively. A few species(superior species) of these occupied 70~90% of the quantity of total quantity by number. Among the superior species Trichiurus japonicus was recorded to be the most dominant species in the survey area. 2. The most body length of escape fish from the trawl net with cod-end was that of about 200mm on survey of 31th July and 5th November, 2014. 3. By optical estimation the survival rate of escape fish on this survey recorded over a ninety percent.
