This paper presents the feasibility study on $CO_2$ carrier for carbon dioxide marine geological storage. Conceptual design was carried out to acquire $CO_2$ carriers by retrofitting existing vessels and new ship-building. Based on conceptual design, the acquisition cost of $CO_2$ carriers was estimated. Finally, necessary expense and number of ships were estimated based on operational plans for the assumed scenario. 본 연구에서는 이산화탄소 해양지중저장을 위한 운송 수단으로 활용될 $CO_2$ 운송선의 타당성조사 결과에 대하여 논한다. 중고 화물선 개조에 의한 $CO_2$ 운송선 확보와 신조에 의한 운송선 확보를 위한 개념 설계를 수행하였고, 이를 토대로 $CO_2$ 운송선의 획득 비용을 추정하였다. 마지막으로 가정한 시나리오에 대한 운용 방안을 검토하여 연간 운송량을 수송할 수 있는 필요 척수와 소요 비용을 함께 추정하였다.

This paper presents bubble wake measurement results generated by the planing hull. The bubble was generated by SNAME TMB model(No. 4876) with hard chine at the CWC(Circulating Water Channel). ABS(Acoustic Bubble Spectrometer) was used to measure bubble wake measurement. The manufactured model is one meter in length and uniform velocity to generate the bubble at CWC is 3m/s, relatively higher speed than conventional hull form. Measurements were performed successfully and measured results show well the general characteristics of bubble wake generated by planing hull. Furthermore, experimental equations are proposed for the practical use.

This paper presents the experimental result to investigate the characteristics of turbulent wake generated by submarine. A SUBOFF nude model which was assumed as an axial -symmetric body was used to create wake, and a thin strut was mounted on the top of the model. The experiments were conducted in a circulating water channel(CWC), and a hot-film was used to measure the turbulence in wake cross-section at the distance range of 0.0~2.0L from the model. The hot film anemometer measured turbulent velocity fluctuations, and the timeaveraged mean velocity and turbulent intensity are obtained from the acquired time-series data. Measured results show well the general characteristics of turbulent intensity, kinetic energy and mean velocity distribution. Also, experimental equations are derived. These experimental equations show well the general characteristics of the turbulent wake behind the submerged body with simple configuration.

The experiments were conducted in a circulating water channel(CWC), and the hot-film was used to measure the turbulence in wake cross-section at the distance range of 0.0~2.0L from the model. The hot film anemometer measured turbulent velocity fluctuations, and the time-averaged mean velocity and turbulent intensity are obtained from the acquired time-series data. Measured results show well the general characteristics of turbulent intensity, kinetic energy and mean velocity distribution. Also, this paper presents derived experimental equations, which is extended result to the reference [1]. These experimental equations show well the general characteristics of the turbulent wake behind the self-propelled submerged body.

The reconstruction method of nasal area can be used differently depending on the location, size, age. In this elderly female patient case, without using the forehead medial flap, good results can be obtained by using an advancement flap considering the nasal aesthetic unit.

An micro-probe tip must be manufactured using thin film to evaluate integrity of the semiconductor with narrow distance between pads. The micro-probe tip has the critical problem that each tip cannot endure or produce the force required to break oxide on metal pad surface. An electric break down of thin oxide film on metal contact, which is known as flitting, is a factor to decrease the performance of probe card, a force over 5 gf is necessary to make contact to AI electrodes. In addition, the probe tip has the life of more than 200,000 probes and the over drive above 50um to contact all pads, simultaneously. We designed micro-probe tip using tensile properties and the design of experiment method through FE analysis in order to solve the above critical problems

본 연구에서는 전조공정의 수치해석을 수행하였다. 해석을 이용한 공정 인자 설계에 앞서서, 효율적이고 신뢰성 있는 해석을 위한 해석 조건에 대하여 연구를 수행하였다. 치형의 개수와 요소의 수에 대한 해석 결과를 바탕으로 해석의 정도를 보장하고 효율적으로 해석을 수행할 수 있는 조건을 설정하였다. 그리고, 프랭크 각도와 치형의 끝단부 라운드 등의 금형의 형상과 성형 온도가 유효 응력, 유효 변형율, 전조력, 그리고 크랙 발생에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 해석은 DEFORM-3D를 이용하여 수행하였다. 프랭크 각도와 치형의 끝단 부 라운드는 전조력에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 성형 온도 조건에 따라서 유효 변형률과 전조력, 그리고 크랙을 예상 할 수 있었다. This paper presents the numerical analysis of thread rolling. Firstly, the analysis is focused on the effective analysis conditions that guarantee the reliability of the analysis results. The investigated parameters are the number of teeth and the number of elements. Using the analysis results, the number of elements and the number of teeth that guarantee the results are found. And then, the effects of the process parameters such as tool shape and temperature on the thread rolling are investigated. The analysis is carried out using DEFORM-3D. The results show that the flank angle and crest round have an effect on the thread rolling load. It is also shown that temperature have significant effects on the effective strain distribution, rolling load, and crack initiation. The crack initiation is predicted using the Cockcroft-Latham criterion.
