      • 황색실크 생산용 특수누에 품종 '골든실크' 육성

        A new silkworm variety Golden silk for spring rearing season is $F_1$ hybrid between Jam311, a Japanese race bred from introduction breeding and Jam312, a Chinese race from introduction breeding. In the local adaptability test performed at 8 local areas in spring of 2006, "Golden silk" was showed 7 percent higher in hatchability than authorized silk-worm races laval. "Golden silk" was receded higher 1.7 percent, 2.2 percent in pupation rate, best cocoon rate respectively than Chunsujam. The larval period shortened for 1.12 day even though low record to the several items including productivity than Chunsujam. "Golden silk" was showed 1,031 m, 2.97 denier in length of cocoon filament, weight of cocoon filament respectively. The concentration of Deoxynojirimycin(DNJ) was measured 4.34 mg in "Golden silk", high then to "Chunsujam"(3.81 mg). In the Paecilomyces tenuipes production ability test, the pupal weight of "Golden silk" was 1.20g. 다수성 품종으로 육성된 골든실크는 새로운 봄누에 특수용도 품종으로서 육성경위와 주요특성을 하면 다음과 같다. 1. 일본종계 원종 잠311은(견색적$\times$흑아)$\times$잠125 교잡 육성한 무늬 품종으로 황색고치를 짓고, 중국종계 원종 잠312는 잠304$\times$괴축과 교잡 육성한 무늬 없는 누에품종으로 황색고치를 짓는 품종이다. 2. 2006년 춘잠기 지역적응시험 결과는 골든실크의 주요특성은 - 실용 부화비율은 97%, 화용비율 및 상견비율은 대조품종보다 우수하였다. 수량성 등 다른 조사항목에서는 대조보다 좋지 못하였으나, 전령기간은 1일 12시간이 짧아 사육노동력을 줄일 수 있는 이점이 있다. - 견사장은 1,031m였고, 견사섬도는 2.97 데니어 이었다. - DNJ 함량은 대조 춘수잠 3.81 mg보다 14% 높은 4.34mg으로 우수 하였고, 동충하초 생산력 검정에서는 동충하초 생체중이 1개당 대조 1.41g보다 낮은 1.20g이였다. 3. 잠종생산능력에 있어서는 일본종계 원종 잠311의 나방당 산란수는 604개로 대조보다 많았고, 최청에서 발아까지의 일수는 54일 이었다. 중국종계 원종 잠312의 산란수는 493개로 일반장려품종의 원종과 산란성이 비슷하였고, 최청에서 발아까지의 일수는 52일이었다.

      • 염료첨가 인공사료에 의한 유색 고치 생산

        인공사료로 먹인 누에에 천연염료와 화학 염료를 각각 혼합하여 5령 3일째부터 먹인 누에의 유색고치 생산을 검토한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 천연염료와 인공사료를 혼합 할 경우에 치자 색소만 청자색으로 변환하여 유색 견을 생산하였고 고치의 중량은 대조 보다 낮았다. 2. 화학 염료 혼합 인공사료는 Orang II, Methyl Orang, Acid Blue R의 유색고치 생산은 주황색 노란색, 파란색 순서로 유색 고치를 생산하였다. In order to produce color cocoon, 3rd day 5th instar silkworm was cultivated with dye mixed artificial diet. Silkworm fed by artificial diet mixed with gardenia pigment spun blue colored cocoon, by Orange II orange cocoon, by methyl orange yellowish cocoon, and by Acid blue R bluish cocoon. Cocoon weight and cocoon shell weight ratio of silkworm fed by colored artificial diet were lower than those of normal silkworm.

      • 애누에 인공사료 적합성 봄누에 품종 "수옥잠" 육성

        A new silkworm variety SooOkJamfor spring rearing season is F1 hybrid between Jam157, a japanese race bred from introduction breeding and Jam158, a chinese race from introduction breeding. In the local adaptability test performed at 8 local areas in spring of 2011, the hatchability rate of SooOkJam was recorded 2% higher than the authorized silkworm variety, DaePoongJam. The larval period was recorded 12 hour shorter than DaePoongJam. The pupation percentage was recorded 0.8% higher than DaePoongJam. Single cocoon weight (2.40 g), Cocoon yield (22.6 kg) and best cocoon rate (95.5%) was similar to DaePoongJam. The concentration of DNJ was measured 4.12 mg in SooOkJam, lower than DaePoongJam (4.45 mg). Test of the artificial diet of SooOkJam showed excellent adaptability of the artificial diet for larval period from 1st to 3rd, similar to KumOkJam. In the Paecilomyces tenuipes production ability test, the pupal weight of SooOkJam was 1.61 g/individual, similar to DaePoongJam (1.65 g/individual).

      • 춘잠기 강건 다수성 새로운 누에품종 "대박잠" 육성

        A new silkworm variety "DaeBakJam" for spring rearing season is F1 hybrid between Jam155, a japanese race bred from introduction breeding and Jam156, a chinese race from introduction breeding. In the local adaptability test performed at 8 local areas in spring of 2010, the hatchability rate of DaeBakJam was recorded 96% similar to Dae- PoongJam. The larval period was 3 hour shorter than DaePoongJam. The pupation percentage was recorded 0.2% higher than DaePoongJam. Single cocoon weight (2.72 g) and Cocoon yield (25.4 kg) was higher than DaePoongJam. The concentration of DNJ was measured 3.28 mg in DaePoongJam, lower than DaePoongJam (3.48 mg). Test of the artificial diet of DaeBakJam showed bad adaptability of the artificial diet for larval period from 1st to 3rd, but KumOk- Jam showed excellent adaptability of the artificial diet. In the Paecilomyces tenuipes production ability test, the pupal weight of DaeBakJam was 1.69 g/individual, higher than DaePoongJam (1.59 g/individual).

        A new silkworm variety WhangBoJam for spring rearing season is F1 hybrid between Jam317, a japanese strain bred from introduction breeding and Jam318, a chinese strain from introduction breeding. In the local adaptability test performed at 8 local areas in spring of 2012, the hatchability rate of WhangBoJam was recorded 95% similar to Kum- HwangJam. The larval period was 8hours more long than KumHwangJam. The pupation percentage was recorded 6.6% higher than KumHwangJam. Single cocoon weight was recorded 2.29 g similar to KumHwangJam and cocoon yield(21.3 kg) was higher than KumHwangJam. The concentration of DNJ was measured to 0.22% in WhangBoJam, lower than DaePoongJam(0.26%). In the Paecilomyces tenuipes production ability test, the pupal weight of Whang- BoJam was 1.33 g/individual, higher than KumHwangJam (1.19 g/individual).

      • 누에의 雜種集團에 있어서 組合能力과 形質의 相關關係

        누에의 품종육성을 위한 유전적 기초정보를 얻고자 7개 품종을 이면교잡하여 얻은 F₁42개 조합을 재료로 각 형질에 대한 조합능력 및 형질상호간의 상관관계를 산출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. GCA와 SCA는 모든 형질에서 유의하였고, RCA는 암견층비율과 화용비율이 유의하지 않았다. 모든 형질은 GCA가 SCA나 RCA보다 높았다. 2. GCA 효과는 N74가 화용비율에서, S1이용체중에서, 잠 108이 5령경과, 암수단견중, 암수견층중, 암수견층비율, 발아일수에서, N63이화용비율과 발아일수에서, 잠 124가 전령경과, 5령경과, 암수단견중, 암수견층중, 암수견층비율, 수용체중에서 각각 正으로 높았다. 3. SCA효과는 형질 및 교배조합에 따라 다양하였으나 2×7(S1×잠 124)조합이 암수단견중, 암수견층중, 암수용체중에서, 3×4(잠 107×잠 108)조합이 암수단견중, 수견층중, 암수용체중, 화용비율에서, 3×7(잠 107×잠 124) 조합이 수단견중, 암수견층중, 암수견층비율, 수용체중, 화용비율에서 각각 正으로 높았다. 4. RCA효과는 1×5(N74×C51)조합이 전령경과, 5령경과에서, 3×4(잠 107×잠 108)조합이 암수견층중, 수견층비율에서, 6×7(N63×잠 124)조합이 수단견중, 암수견층중, 수용체중에서 각각 正으로 높았다. 5. 유전력은 전령경과, 5령경과, 암수단견중, 암수견층중, 암수견층비율이 85.79% 이상으로 높았다. 6. 상관관계는 전령경과와 수단견중 ·암수견층중 ·암수견층비율 ·발아일수에서, 암단견중과 수단견중 ·암수견층중 ·수견층비율 ·암수용체중에서, 수단견중과 암수견층중 ·암수견층비율 ·암수용체중에서, 암견층중과 수견층중 ·암수견층비율 ·암수용체중 ·발아일수에서, 수견층중과 암수견층비율 ·수용체중 ·발아일수에서, 암견층비율과 수견층비율 ·수용체중 ·발아일수에서, 수견층비율과 발아일수에서, 암용체중과 수용체중에서 正으로 유의하였다. Combining ability and correlation coefficient for F₁population form diallel cross in the silkworm were estimated for twelve quantitative characters i. e., total instar period, fifth instar period, female of cocoon weight, male of cocoon weight, female of cocoon layer weight, male of cocoon layer weight, female of cocoon layer ratio, male of cocoon layer ratio, female of pupal weight, male of pupal weight, percentage of pupation and eclosion period. The results of combining ability test, it was found that general combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability(SCA) were significantly different among twelve quantitative characters, and the variance of the former was higher than that the latter. Variety Jam 108 and Jam 124 was found to be the useful parent based upon the GCA effect considering the cocoon yield and yield components. the crosses of S1×Jam 124, Jam 107×Jam124 showed the most promising SCA effects on cocoon yield and yield components. In reciprocal combining ability(RCA) effect, hybrids in Jam 107×Jam 108, N63×Jam 124 were exhibited positively high for yield component. The heritabilities of larval period, cocoon weight, cocoon layer weight and cocoon layer ratio were higher than those of pupal weight, percentage of pupation and eclosion period. There were positive coefficients; between the character of total instar period and the character of cocoon layer weight, or cocoon layer ratio ; between the characters of cocoon weight and the character of cocoon layer weight or cocoon layer ratio, or pupal weight ; between the character of cocoon layer weight and the character of cocoon layer ratio, or eclosion period. Moreover highly significant values were found between the character of cocoon yield and the character of cocoon layer weight or cocoon layer ratio, or pupal weight.
