Mucocele of the sphenoid sinus is a rare disease and close anatomical relationship of sphenoid sinus to important contiguous neurologic and vascular structure can produce variable symptoms and signs. So, it is frequently misdiagnosed as pituitary or skullbase tumors. Therefore, the diagnosis can be delated eventually leading to complications and inadequate treatment. Functional endoscopic surgery affords the potential for dramatically reducing operative morbidity of surgery for paranasal sinus mucocele by offering a minmal invasive approach under local anesthesia. Recently, we have experienced four cases of sphenoid sinus mucocele, out of which one case was received by tranasseptal access, and the remaining cases by intranasal endoscopic sinus surgery. In this article, sphenoid sinus mucocele is discussed from the standpoint of clinical presentation, diagnostic and treatment options for the help of hereafter diagnosis and treatment.

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common type of benign epithelial tumor of the salivary glands. It most frequently involves major salivary glands and the upper aerodigestive tract, whereas it is relative infrequently occurs in the nasal cavity and extremely rare on the nasal septum. We experienced one case of pleomorphic adenoma arising from anteroinferior portion of the nasal septum in a 42 year old female patient. The tumor was completely removed intranasally without any complication.
