        영화 속 의상기호에 관한 연구 -개리 마샬의 "귀여운 여인"(1990)을 중심으로-

        The costumes as an expression system in film are inserted intentionally for a particular purpose. Costumes in film, namely the cinematic dress code, and that in reality are dissimilar in meaning structure. The costumes in film perform a role of a complicated eye-catcher in correlation with the other filmic factors. But the previous studies on the costumes in film are focused on the keywords 'fashion style', 'fashion trend', or 'PPL (product placement)'. In film studies, however, the costumes should be observed from the point of view as semiosis, not as fashion, in other words, from the angle of symbol, icon and index. And the meaning and the process of the communication, which that produce, should be pointed out. It could expose, that costumes play one of the key roles for the developing of narratives and the creating of characters in film. Therefore, this study's aim is to examine the semiosis of costumes in film and to analyse the dress code, dress plot, and dress message in <Pretty Woman> (1990) by Garry Marshall. But this work does not try to indicate the problems of the film-semiotics or to intensify the concept of the semiotic terminology. Thus, this study attempts to approach the theme of costumes in film from the perspective of the semiosis and its meaning process. With this, it has been proved, that semiotic systems are in hiding beyond the conventional forms of cinematic costumes and its natural harmony with characters.

      • 지하역사 실내형 냉각탑 성능개선 연구

        Seoulmetro has operated the air cooling equipment for 57 stations to improve services focused on our customers who use Seoulmetro during the summer season and has established every year. However, a new set of problems has arisen with the cooling tower to support a heat exchange of cooling water. The most important matter is loss of efficiency in the cooling tower. The leading cause of this problem is that we use an indoor type. As the cooling tower room is located in the underground of the city because of the residents near the station. Therefore It is difficult to establish the cooling tower on the ground. But it is unsuitable for the location requirements of the underground type because it has a limited space to set up the air cooling equipment, for example, the cooling tower and a ventilating opening. As a result of such an unfavorable condition, the cooling tower doesn"t work efficiently and the warmth of cooling water because of insufficiency of a heat exchange and a refrigerator"s technical obstacle such as a high-temperature and a high-pressure has arisen. To prevent this situation, the operator tend to reduce refrigerant. Accordingly, the efficiency of the air conditioning is getting lower and lower. Study wishes to analyze the matter to improve indoor cooling tower efficiency and recommend a best practice for a person who manage the establishment.

        대만과 조선에서 ‘식민지 화폐영역’의 형성

        The central bank in colony was founded in the process of uniting Japan’s colony into Yen currency area and establishing monetary system in colonial Taiwan and Korea. And the central bank note was made for applying money for development in colony and preventing inflation from spreading to Japan. It showed the process of formation and spread of monetary area in colony modeled Taiwan bank that government general in Taiwan established Taiwan bank(臺灣銀行) and formed its monetary area circulated Taiwan bank note in colonial Taiwan, and Daiitch bank(第一銀行) in Korea established Daiitch bank note and formed its monetary area. But the process of formation of monetary area in colony had difference as much as it had similarity. As the reorgnization of the monetary system in Taiwan made progress after colonization, the reorgnization of the monetary system in Korea started before colonization. The difference of these conditions made difference in the formation of monetary system. While the reorgnization of the monetary system in colonial Taiwan was the process of the consultation and adjustment between government general in colony and Japanese government, it was the process of conflict and antagonism surrounding the monetary sovereignty in Korea. Government general in Taiwan carried out establishing the central bank right after colonization of Taiwan. But it was the first establishment and it undergone trial and error related transition to the gold standard. On the other hand Korean government reacted against the erosion on the monetary sovereignty and Daiitch bank note was approved as lawful money(法貨) under the protectorate at last. As the monetary reform in Taiwan was carried out on the base of the subordination of the economic structure, the monetary reform in Korea push on the violent way in the course of Russo-Japanese war and succeeding erosion of sovereignty. The difference in the process of establishing monetary system resulted in the difference in the system of note issue. Taiwan bank and Daiitch bank in Korea was similar that they borrowed the elastic limit system(屈伸制限制度) designed on the model of Japan bank. The system of note issue in Taiwan bank had gold or silver as its specie reserve(正貨準備), but the system of note issue in Daiitch bank had Japan bank note as its specie reserve. Japanese government cut off the direct relation between Taiwan bank note and Japan bank note, but strengthened the supervisory on Taiwan bank. On the other hand Japanese government intensified the intervention of Japan bank, but government general in Korea took charge of the supervisory on Korea bank.

        In 2010, platform screen door (PSD) has been installed in all platforms of Seoul subway line No. 1 to 8. Since the PSD blocks an entering of tunnel air pollutants into the platform, it has an effect to improve the platform air quality. However, in case of tunnel where outdoor air pollutants are directly entered though a forced ventilation opening without filter, the installation of PSD makes worse the air quality in platform. The reason of this is that amount of fresh air which is required for dilution of indoor air pollutant is decreased. Therefore, in the present study, a methodology to install the filter equipment in tunnel is suggested for improving the air quality in tunnel as well as platform.

        지하철의 이용목적이 단순 이동수단에서 복합 생활공간으로 확대됨에 따라 지하공간의 공기질 수준에 대한 기대치도 점점 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라 지하철 공기질 개선의 노력과 연구도 꾸준히 이어져왔다. 최근에는 스크린도어가 전 역사에 설치되어 승강장의 공기질은 향상되었으나, 본선 터널은 오히려 악화되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 지하철 터널의 공기질 개선을 위해 시범터널 구간을 선정하고 이 구간의 승강장, 터널, 외기의 계절별 공기질을 측정 분석하였다. According as usage motivation of subway was enlarged to life space, expectation for air quality is gradually rising. Therefore there is carried steadily out effort for an improvement of subway"s air quality. After PSD was installed at all station, air quality was improved at platform, but turned worse at main track. At this paper, after test section was selected, air quality of platform, tunnel, outdoor in test section is measured and analyzed for improvement of subway"s air quality.

        1980~90년대 민중사학의 형성과 소멸

        The beginning of a people`s history started out the critic on the national history that worked as ideology of ruling class in the 70s to the 80s. The subjects of the people`s history didn`t argue that they have to reform the history itself, but intervene in the existing mass movement as the ideology of repressed class. That is why the people`s history mean a history and doesn`t mean a history at the same time. It was defined as fusion between people`s historiography and political practice of labor movement. The people`s history follow the process of formation, division, extinction from in the mid-80s to early in the 90s. It was formed on the basis of the appearance of marxism and discontinuity to national history in the mid-80s. It spread to the public through the struggle for democracy in 1987, but division of research organization in the history department brought about division of the subjects of the people`s history. As the collapse of socialism in existence early in the 90s resulted in the appearance of the crisis of marxism, the people`s history was institutionalized and was losed its funtion that criticize the ruling ideology. The historiography about the people`s history remind us that we didn`t catch the people`s history as a theory or method on the history department and it closely related to mass movement. The subjects of the people`s history tried to change into the structure that reproduce the history department through the formation of research organization and researcher`s movement. This attempt open the way to the connecting with mass movement beyond the limit of history department. However it remain the problem that we have to realize the change of reproduction system of history department.

        PSD(platform screen door) was completely installed at all of Seoul subway station(line 1~8) using 640million people per day by 2010. After installation of PSD the influence of train induced wind at platform decreased but is estimated to increase in subway tunnel. In this paper train induced wind occurred by pass of subway at platform was measured and analyzed using numerical analysis by computational fluid dynamics.

        지하철 승강장의 스크린도어가 설치되기 전에는 승강장을 통해 환기되던 공기가 스크린 도어가 설치된 후에는 터널 내부에 정체되면서 미세먼지에 의한 환경이 더 악화되고 있는 실정이며, 터널환기구가 터널에 정체된 공기의 유일한 순환구로 이용되고 있다. 스크린 도어는 기존 터널환기시스템을 설계할 때 고려되었던 사안은 아니었으며, 지하철 운행 시 스크린도어 설치로 인한 지하 터널 속에서의 공기역학적 변화는 매우 클 것이다. 그러나 지하철이 통과하는 공간인 터널환기에 대한 연구는 미미한 수준이다. 이에 열차가 지하 터널 구간을 운행할 때 발생하는 열차풍에 의한 기류속도를 측정하고, 전철구간의 자연 환기구를 통한 기류의 유입 및 유출 특성을 정량적으로 평가하여 대표적인 기류패턴을 추출함으로써 향후 지하 터널 신설 및 환기 설비 설계에 따른 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. After installation of platform screen door (PSD) in subway stations, particulate matters (PMs), which are originally ventilated through the platform, are accumulated inside the tunnel of the subway system. It deteriorates an air quality inside the tunnel. To ventilate the accumulated PMs inside the tunnel, the natural ventilator which are located inside the tunnel (namely, tunnel ventilation system) are used as only one circulation system. In addition, the installation of PSD can affect to the aerodynamic variations inside the tunnel, since the PSD system was not considered factor when the tunnel ventilation system was designed. However, the researches about the tunnel ventilation system have not been adequate. Therefore, this study is carried out with two objectives: 1) to measure the velocity of air current by the train-induced wind, when the train passes through the tunnel, and 2) to investigate the typical patterns of air current by quantitatively evaluating the characteristics of inflow/outflow of air current which passes through the natural ventilation system. This study can suggest the basic standard to newly design the tunnel of the subway system as well as the ventilation system.
