최근 급속하게 증가하고 있는 초고층 건축물은 바람이나 지진에 의한 횡변위를 효율적으로 제어하는 기술이 매우 중요하다. 그러나 국내의 초고층 주거형 건축물에 주로 사용되는 횡력 저항 구조시스템인 아웃리거 시스템은 별도의 공간을 요구하여 시공이 어렵고 공사 기간이 오래 걸리는 등의 불리한 점들이 있다. 반면 근래에 사용되고 있는 제진 시스템은 동적 하중에 의한 진동에너지를 부가적인 제진장치에 집중시킴으로써 건물의 횡변위를 저감시키며, 댐퍼의 설치도 비교적 용이하다. 또한, 아웃리거 설치와 같은 횡변위 제어시스템은 강성증가로 인해 풍응답이 증가되어 거주자의 불편과 같은 사용성 문제가 발생하기도 하며 이는 다른 추가적인 제어방식을 요구하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초고층 주거형 건축물에 대한 횡변위를 효과적으로 제어하면서 아웃리거시스템을 대체 또는 보완할 수 있는 새로운 방법으로써 다양한 제진장치를 적용하여 각각의 횡변위제어 성능을 검토해보았다. The problem controlling lateral drift by the wind and the earthquake is very important in high rise buildings. But, outrigger system, generally used for residential tall buildings in Korea, has weak points with the occupancy of special space, the difficult construction and the long duration of works. On the other hand, the damper reduces story drifts of building structure by absorbing vibration energy induced by the dynamic loads and the application of damper systems is relatively simple. Also, the lateral drift control system such as outrigger system may raise the wind vibration problem of serviceability like human comfort and this problem may need another vibration control devices. Accordingly, we analyze the effect of the drift control using various dampers to substitute for outrigger system as the efficient system in residential tall buildings.

Scheduling jobs effectively under consideration of actual loads on machines is one of the most complicated tasks in production control. The complexity of the finite capacity scheduling often makes the conventional methods of industrial engineering fail. As an alternative, Knowledge-based approaches to job-shop scheduling have been evolved recently. This paper presents a blackboard- based scheduling expert system which combines knowledge-based scheduling with interactive scheduling. It is shown to be possible to generate the feasible schedule within a reasonable time. Flexible reaction management is also possible while keeping the changes in the generated schedule to the minimal and adjusting the schedule to tardy operations or working environmental changes. The system is equipped with a rule base with heuristics for handling conflicted event. A case study applying the implemented system is described.

The purpose of this study was to compare and evaluate the quality of beef jerky made with Korean beef meat, Korean beef cattle and imported beef meat from Austria and New Zealand. The beef jerky qualities were evaluated by sensory evaluation, measurement of crude lipid, fatty acid composition of lipid, and acid value and peroxide value, and of surface observation with a microscope. According to the preference test, whereas beef jerky made with Korean beef meat showed the highest score in color, glaze, palatability, and softness, while that of made with New Zealand beef meat did received the lowest score. The crude lipid content of jerky made with Korean and Austrian beef meat was higher than that of made with Korean cattle and New Zealand beef meat. Surface of jerky made with Korean and Austrian beef meat was gappier than that of made with Korean cattle and New Zealand beef meat, and the. The acid value of jerky made with Korean and Austrian beef meat was lower than that of made with Korean cattle and New Zealand beef meat. The peroxide value of jerky made with Korean cattle meat showed higher peroxide values from the initial storage time. However, the peroxide value whereas that of jerky made with Austrian beef meat was the lowest at initial storage time, it increased remarkably with storage time and showed the highest value after the 15th day of storage. We found that the change in quality of jerky made with Korean and Austrian beef meat was less than that those made of Korean cattle and New zealand beef meat. And it could be suggested that Korean cattle and New Zealand beef meat are not suitable in making jerky.

Web-based CAD/CAE integrated Visualization System to Conference is planned for collaborative product development, for the tools of communication. If, some people with high quality design skill and another with high quality engineering skill, they work together in same place and communicate continually to get the best quality of product will be obtained. But, in real field that condition is impossible. What is worse is in the middle and small size company. They have been attended with much difficulty in engineering expert. This paper bring focus into the architecture and functions of web-based system to communicate between product designer, mold designer, flow simulation engineer using product design model and flow analysis result, to reduce the product development life cycle time and to get the best quality of initial product.

The emotion recognition is one of the most significant interface technologies which make the high level of<br/> human-machine communication possible. The central nervous system stimulated by emotional stimuli affects<br/> the autonomous nervous system like a heart, blood vessel, endocrine organs, and so on. Therefore bio-signals<br/> like HRV, ECG and EEG can reflect one’s emotional state. This study investigates the correlation between<br/> emotional states and bio-signals to realize the emotion recognition. This study also covers classification of<br/> human emotional states, selection of the effective bio-signal and signal processing. The experimental results<br/> presented in this paper show possibility of the emotion recognition.

The ubiquitous environment is to support people in their everyday life in an inconspicuous and unobtrusive way. This requires that information of the person and her preferences, liking, and habits are available in the ubiquitous system. In this paper, we propose the context aware system that can provide the tailored information service for user in ubiquitous computing environment. The system architecture is composed of 4 domain models that can perform some pre-defined tasks independently. And we suggest the hybrid algorithm combined with fuzzy and Bayesian network to reason what information is suitable for user environment. Finally, we apply to agent based RGA(Research Guide Assistant).

Korea has experienced incidents related to waste management twice, in 1992 and 2018. The government should have waste management in order to provide good service to the people, even though the management of industrial waste belongs to the discharger under the PPP (polluter pay principle). Although the industrial wastes are highly recycled and marine dumping is being abolished, the government should prepare for the abolishment by predicting and managing demand and supply in order to properly dispose of industrial waste. Therefore, this paper describes a study conducted on the optimal incineration capacity in metropolitan regions. The waste subject was industrial solid waste (ISW), and the study data were based solely on government statistics. The people have been told that it is difficult to economically dispose of waste in the metropolitan region. According to the diagnosis in this study, considering the current situation, it is estimated that at least 2,000 tons/day of on-site incineration should be added to the metropolitan region.
