        다약제내성균에 대한 항균 활성을 가지는 Bacillus subtilis MP56 균주의 분리 및 특성분석

        최근 국내외로 MRSA, VRE 등의 다약제 내성 균주의 분리빈도가 매년 급증하고 있고, 시판하고 있는 항생제 중 가장 효능이 강력한 제품들도 다약제 내성균 출현율이 증가함에 따라 이를 극복할 새로운 항생제의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 다약제 내성균에 유효한 항생제의 예로 vancomycin, teicoplanin, linezolid가 다약제 내성균에 유효한 의약품으로 쓰이고 있으며 방선균이나 Bacillus 등의 배양액에서 다약제 내성균에 유효한 물질의 발굴에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 넓은 항균범위를 가지고, 체내 축척이 적은 항생물질에 개발에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구진은 국내 서해안의 갯벌에서 Bacillus 속 미생물을 수종 분리하였으며, 다약제 내성균에 항균 활성을 지니는 MP56 균주를 선발하였고, 균주 동정 결과 Bacillus subtilis 와 99.93%의 16S rRNA 상동성을 나타냄을 본 연구에서 확인하였다. 국내외 연구진에 의하여 다수의 Bacillus 속 미생물이 분리된 바가 있으며, 항균 물질에 대한 연구도 보고된 바 있다. 그러나 국내 갯벌에서 분리된 Bacillus 속 균주 배양액의 임상균주에 대한 항균 효능 평가에 관한 연구는 보고된 바가 없다. 본 연구에서 Bacillus 속 균주 MP56 배양액이 국내에서 분리한 임상 균주인 MRSA, IMP 균주에 대해 우수한 항균 활성을 나타내어 최적 발효조건과 항균범위를 본 논문을 통해 보고하였으며, 추후 MP56 균주 배양액에서 항균물질의 분리, 정제 및 구조 규명을 위한 후속 연구를 수행 할 예정이다. A new Bacillus strain designated as MP56 producing antimicrobial substance has been isolated from the mud flat of Korea. The strain MP56 was found to exhibit broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive pathogenic microorganisms and MDR (multi drug resistant) strains. The 16S rRNA sequence revealed that the MP56 was closely related to Bacillus subtilis with 99.93% homology. The optimal medium composition for production of antimicrobial substance in the B. subtilis MP56 were 1% mannitol, 1% oat meal, 0.01% $CaCl_2$. Antimicrobial activity of the culture broth against different pathogenic strains was assessed using the antimicrobial spectrum. The result suggests that Bacillus strain MP56 produces high quality antimicrobial substance that might be very useful to control varieties of pathogenic microbial growth.

        화산력-바이오 블록의 식생 및 수질정화 특성

        This study is a basic research on the functional performance review for the use of environmentally friendly construction materials as lapilli-bio block. The neutralization processed Mt. Backdusan and Mt. Hallasan lapilli-bio block were identified vegetation characteristics and water purification properties. As a result, the adsorption of root was more favorable, depending on the material properties of many voids Lapilli. And if the neutralization processed lapilli-bio blocks maintain a long-term immersion conditions in contaminated water was found to be expected from the improvement effect of SS, T-N and T-P. However, field trials and continuous studies are expected to be identified by the use of lapilli-bio block.

        HCCI 엔진용 산화촉매의 반응특성

        HCCI 엔진은 배출가스 중 PM과 NOx 가 저감되나, 일반적으로 상용디젤 엔진보다 HC, CO 가 증가하는 특성을 보인다. 특히 과도한 HC 에서 발생하는 SOF 로 인해 total PM 에 영향을 미친다. 이는 HCCI 엔진에서 DOC 를 통한 HC 저감이 중요하며 HC 의 정화성능이 우수한 OC 의 개발이 필요하다. 실험은 모델가스를 이용하여 2Pt/1Pd 의 충전량이 다른 3 종의 OC(600cpsi cordierite)를 가지고 수행하였다. OC 에서 HC, SV, H₂O, O₂의 조건을 달리하여 OC 성능특성을 LOT50에서 평가하였다. 그 결과 CO 는 170℃에서 3 종의 촉매 모두 90% 이상의 정화특성을 나타내었고 Pd 가 충전 된 OC 는 열화 된 후 Pt 만충전 된 OC 보다 우수한 내구특성을 나타내었다. Fresh 와 aged 된 OC 에서 SV 의 증가 및 H₂O 의 반응참여는 LOT50성능이 낮아지는 결과를 나타내었다. The Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engine concept allows for both NOx and particulate matter to be reduced simultaneously, and it is a promising way to meet the next environmental challenges. Unfortunately, HCCI combustion often increases CO and HC emissions. The development of oxidation catalyst (OC) requires high conversion efficiency for CO and HC at low temperature. Conventional oxidation catalyst technologies may not be able to convert these emissions because of the saturation of active catalytic sites. The OC used in this study was 600 cpsi cordierite. Three kinds of OC with different amounts of Pt and Pd were used. The influence of the space velocity (SV), H₂O and O₂ concentration was also studied. All types of OCs were found to have over 90% CO conversion efficiencies at 170℃. When in the presence of water vapor, CO conversion was increased, but C₃H? conversion was decreased. The performance of the OC was not influenced by initial the HC concentration. The 2Pt/Pd catalyst was better in terms of thermal aging than the Pt-only catalyst. The LOT50 of both fresh and aged OC was increased with increasing SV and with the presence of H₂O.

        의료생활협동조합 관련 생협법 -개정내용과 개선방안

        Consumer co-operative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their economic and social needs through jointly-owned and democratically-controled enterprise. Therefore, a consumer co-operative can undertakes any business needs for people’s daily life as a consumers. In particular, the medical enterprise is necessary to the consumer co-operative. Because, medical service is very important in people’s daily life as a consumer. Current Consumer Co-operative Act is faced with many problems. However, fortunately, The Consumer Co-op Act revised completely passed the National Assembly in Feb. this year, and will come into effect on after six months. This study aims to propose the development method for the medical enterprise in consumer co-operative enterprise, focused on the Contents of Revision of the Consumer Cooperative Act.

      • DME 개질용 Cu/Al₂O₃ 촉매에 제올라이트 혼합이 수소생성과 SR+LNT의 de-NOx 성능에 미치는 영향

        The aim of this study is development of SR(steam reforming) catalyst to improve performance of de-NOx catalytic system for DME engines. The SR catalysts (Cu-based) were used r-Al₂O₃ or r-Al₂O₃+Modenite 10% prepared by an impregnation method and the LNT used as a commercial catalyst. As a result of experiments, Cu10%/r-Al₂O₃+modenite 10% showed H₂ production of 58% compared to that of 10% over the Cu10% /r-Al₂O₃ catalyst at 300℃. When H₂ generated by the Cu10%/r-Al₂O₃+modenite 10% catalyst was used as LNT reductant, the NOx conversion was improved by about 15% compared to the LNT used alone.

      • Thermal aging DME 개질 촉매에서 생성된 수소가 DME 자동차의 de-NOx 성능에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of the mixing promoters to the Cu/r-Al₂O₃ catalyst to improve H₂ generation depending on thermal aging through the exhaust gases of DME engines, and to identify the effects on de-NOx performance using H₂ generated from SR catalyst in the LNT. The SR catalyst was prepared by the sol-gel method with promoter and the LNT used commercial catalyst. The kinds of promoter are Zn, and Ce. The amounts of promoter are 1% of amount of Cu and r-Al₂O₃ mixed. As a result of experiments, Cu29CeO21/r-Al₂O₃ showed the highest H₂ yield compared to the other SR catalysts in a fresh, and 900 ℃ aged conditions. Cu29CeO₂1/r-Al₂O₃ showed that mixing of 1% of CeO₂ improved the dispersion of Cu and increased the surface area of Cu. In the combined system of SR and LNT catalyst using the Cu29CeO₂1/r-Al₂O₃ with Ce 1% as a promoter, it showed the performance of the NOx conversion improved 8-13% compared to the LNT alone.

        소비자생활협동조합법의 개정내용과 향후 과제

        The Consumer Co-op Law was enacted in 1998 with incorporated with not a few problems mainly due to the social and economic environments at that time. Based on the reason, there has been sustaining request for the revision of the law from the establishment. Finally, The Consumer Co-op Law revised completely passed the National Assembly in Feb. this year and will come into effect on after six months. This study is composed of 3 main contents. First, this study presents the problems of current law mainly with business contents, principal of consumer co-operative, organization system, government supports and so on. Secondly, suggest the way for them to discuss specifically how to revise it. Finally, set forth the essential points the contents of revision law and proposal the future tasks of the consumer co-operative.

      • DME 엔진용 de-NOx 촉매의 성능향상을 위한 SR+LNT 복합 시스템

        The aim of this study is optimization with a combined system of SR(steam reforming) + LNT(lean NOx trap) using H₂ and CO generated in the DME SR catalyst to improve performance of de-NOx catalyst for DME engines. The SR catalyst used was Cu-based catalyst manufactured by a sol-gel method and the LNT used was commercial catalyst. Parameters of experiment considered Cu particle size of SR catalyst, cell density of substrate, loading amount of Cu on SR catalyst. As a result of experiments, LNT catalyst was the highest NOx conversion when quantity of DME is 1% and lean/rich time is 55/8s; however, supplying 0.7% of DME with 55/5s of lean/rich time in the LNT catalyst and the combined system of SR+LNT was selected to concern problems of DME slip and fuel penalty. It shown the best NOx conversion in the combined system of SR+LNT appeared at conditions of 600cpsi cell density and 1.3(SR):1(LNT) size ratio. Finally, the combined system improved the NOx conversion about 20% compared to the only LNT catalyst.

Unfortunately, HCCI combustion often increases CO and HC emissions. Conventional oxidation catalyst technologies may not be able to convert these emissions because of the saturation of active catalytic sites. 3 kinds of OC(oxidation catalyst) with different amount of Pt and Pd were used. It was found that all types of OC have over 90% CO conversion efficiencies at 170℃. In the presence of water vapor, CO conversion was increased but C₃H? conversion was decreased. 2Pt/Pd catalyst was better in thermal aging than Pt only catalyst.
