본 논문에서는 병렬식 광 인터컨넥트 응용을 위한 멀티채널 광수신기 어레이를 구현한다. 0.8$\mu$m Si/SiGe HBT 공정을 이용하여 설계한 수신기 어레이는 4채널의 전치증폭기 (transimpedance amplifier 혹은 TIA)와 PIN 광다이오드를 포함하는데, TIA는 일반적인 에미터 접지 (common-emitter 혹은 CE) 입력단을 취한다. 측정결과로서, CE TIA 어레이는 3.9GHz 주파수 대역폭과 62dB$\Omega$ 트랜스 임피던스 이득, 7.SpA/sqrt(Hz) 평균 노이즈 전류 스펙트럼 밀도 및 -2SdB 채널 간 crosstalk 성능을 가지며, 4채널 전체 모듈이 40mW 전력소모를 보인다. A four-channel photoreceiver ways have been realized in a 0.8$\mu$m Si/SiGe HBT technology for the applications of parallel optical interconnects. The receiver array includes four-channel transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) and p-i-n photodiodes, where the TIAs exploit a common-emitter (CE) input configuration. Measured results demonstrate that the four-channel CE TIA array provides 3.9GHz bandwidth, 62dB$\Omega$ transimpedance gain, 7.5pA/sqrt(Hz) average noise current spectral density, and less than -25dB crosstalk between adjacent channels with 40mW power dissipation.

고추탄저병균 Colletotrichum gloeosporioides의 방제를 위한 길항 미생물의 분리 및 항진균 활성

Bacillus sp. KMU-991 was isolated from Oslo city soils at Norway and shown a strong antifungal activity on red-pepper anthracnose, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Bacillus sp. KMU-991 produced a maximum level of antifungal substrate under aerobic incubation at $30^{\circ}C$, 180 rpm for 48 hours in TSB medium(initial pH 7.0) containing 1.0% mannitol and 1.0% ammonium chloride. Precipitate of culture broth by $30{\sim}60%$ ammonium sulfate precipitation exhibited strong antifungal activity against C. gloeosporioides KACC 40804. Butanol extract of cultured broth also shown fungal growth inhibitory activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicus-lycopersici KACC 40537, Rhizoctonia solani AG-4 KACC 40142, Botrytis cinerea KACC 40573, Colletotrichum orbiculare KACC 40808, and Phytophthora cambivora KACC 40160 by agar diffusion method.

Major League Baseball (MLB) records and releases the trajectory data for every baseball pitch, called the PITCHf/x, using three high-speed cameras installed in every stadium. In a previous study, the quality of the pitch was assessed as the expected number of bases yielded using PITCHf/x data. However, the number of bases yielded does not always lead to baseball scores, or runs. In this paper, we assess the quality of a pitch by combining baseball analytics metric Run Expectancy and Run Value using a Random Forests model. We compare the quality of pitches evaluated with Run Value to the quality of pitches evaluated with the expected number of bases yielded.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate structural stability of extensive laminectomy and the effect of subcutaneous fat autograft on restricting formation of postlaminectomy membrane (fibrous tissue). Eighteen healthy dogs of both sexes and of mixed breeding were divided into 6 groups : (1) unilateral hemilaminectomy (group H) on 3rd, 4th and 7th vertebrae ; (2) modified dorsal laminectomy (group D) on 3rd, 4th and 7th vertebrae. Hemilaminectomies were carried out incontinuously at 16 sites in 4 dogs, then subcutaneous fat autografts (group F) were applied to 8 laminectomy sites and no treatment (group C) was assigned to 8 laminectomy sites, too. Operating time of group H ($30.9{\pm}10.4$ minutes) was significantly shorter (p<0.05) than that of group D ($43.1{\pm}12.2$ minutes), but surgical hemorrhage of group H is severer than that of group D. General states, such as standing, gait, defecation and urination, were normal. Upper motor neuron/lower motor neuron signs were not found and superficial/deep pain, proprioception and anal sphincter tone were normal. Gross postmortem findings were similar in all groups. The laminectomy sites of groups H and D were filled with fibous connective tissue at 4 months after operation and histopathological abnormalities of spinal cord were not found. One of eight laminectomy sites in group F was filled with fibrous tissue at 2 months after operation, but all operating sites of group C were covered with fibrous tissue. The present study indicated that extensive laminectomy on 7 vertebrae, using unilateral hemilaminectomy and modified dorsal laminectomy technique, maintained structural stability and subcutaneous fat autograft was effective on reducing the formation of fibrous membrane in laminectomy sites.

This study was performed to investigate the effect of Nei Guan (PC-6) moxibustion stimulation on artificial bradycardia of dogs. Xylazine was injected for inducing bradycardia. Rectal temperature, systolic blood pressure, respiratory rate, heart rate were recorded every 10 minutes for 120 minutes. Systolic blood pressure significantly increased on 40 min (p < 0.05) after xylazine injection, compared with those of control group. Heart rate significantly increased on 40 min (p < 0.01), 50 min (p < 0.01), 60 min (p < 0.01), 70 min (p < 0.01), 80 min (p < 0.01), 100 min (p < 0.01), 120min (p < 0.01) after xylazine injection, compared with those of control group. In conclusion, moxibustion of Nei Guan (PC-6) showed recovery effect in xylazine induced bradycardia in dogs.

This paper reports the preparation of CF/PA6 (Polyamide 6) laminate composites using tow-spreading technology. Additionally, the effect of the spread tow on impregnation was investigated by Darcy's law. The thickness of an unspread 12K carbon fiber tow was reduced by increasing the tow width from 7 to 20 mm. The PA6 film was used to stabilize and impregnate the spread tow by covering it with a partially consolidated prepreg:12K carbon fiber spread tow/PA6 film. The laminate composites were fabricated from the prepreg and, for comparison, the other laminate composite was produced from a conventional tow prepreg of 12K carbon fiber/PA6 film. Consequently, the spread tow laminate composite exhibited a lower void content and improved mechanical properties.
