A mathematical model of the hydrodynamic and heat transfer performances of two-phase flow (gas-liquid) in thin film region of micro channel is proposed. For the formulation of modeling, the flow of the vapor phase and the shear stress at the liquid-vapor interface are considered. In this work, disjoining pressure and capillary force which drive the liquid flow at the liquid-vapor interface in thin film region are adopted also. Using the model, the effects of the variations of channel height and heat flux on the flow and heat transfer characteristics are investigated. Results show that the influence of variation of vapor pressure on the liquid film flow is not negligible. The heat flux in thin-film region is the most important operation factor of micro cooler system.

The flow and thermal phenomena in flat tubes of radiator are analyzed numerically. To predict the characteristics of heat transfer and pressure drop, the flow analysis program for three-dimensional complex geometry is developed, which adopted an non-staggered grid system and Cartesian velocities as dependent variables of the momentum equations. Using the developed program, the effect of tube specifications on the heat transfer characteristics is investigated for various flat tubes. From this study, the following results are obtained; (1) For the same hydraulic diameter($D_h{\doteq}5.2$mm), the Nusselt numbers of three basic modeis(D, J, and H-model) are 8.71, 8.92, and 10.58, respectively, and the pressure drops of D-, J-, and H-model are predicted as $-3.08{\times}10^{-2}\;Pa,\;-3.12{\times}10^{-2}\;Pa,\;and\; -3.98{\times}10^{-2}$ Pa, (2) In case of the same flat tube specification, the fins must be brazed at upper tube surface because the heat is more vividly transferred. Therefore, it is found that the H- model is the most effective tube as a heat exchanger and these results are used as a fundamental data for the design of tube.
다해상도 주파수 분할과 Back-Propagation을 이용한 홍채인식

본 논문에서는 기존의 개인 식별 방법의 한계를 해결하는 대안으로 떠오르고 있는 생체인식 기술 중 인식률이 뛰어나고 신뢰성 있는 홍채인식 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 구현을 위하여 신호처리 분야에서 주로 사용되는 wavelet변환으로 계수 특징 값 추출을 하였으며, 인식률을 알아보기 위하여 신경망 기법을 이용하고자 한다. 그러나 신경망 기법에서 주로 사용되는 비선형 최적화기법인 Scale Conjugate Gradient는 최적화 문제점을 해결하기에는 수렴속도가 느리기 때문에 적합하지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 Scale Conjugate Gradient를 보완한 Levenberg-Marquardt Back-Propagation을 홍채인식에 적용하여 구현함으로써 인식율을 높이고자 한다. 적용한 알고리즘 구현으로 해의 수렴정도, 변수 벡터의 변화정도에 따라 크기를 적절히 변화시킴으로써 수렴속도를 개선하고, 효율성과 안정성을 동시에 얻을 수 있었다.

스마트 그리드 기반 지능형 홈 네트워크 시스템을 구현하기 위해 ZIGBEE 홈 네트워크를 구축하여 스마트 그리드와 u-Healthcare 시스템을 융합하였다. 각 무선센서가 부착된 홈 기기들과 PLC 모뎀, DCU 와 연동하여 가정 내의 전력량 관리와 전기료 인하에 도움을 주었으며, 사용자 인터페이스로 개발한 IHD(월 패드)로 통해 실시간 확인이 가능하게 함과 동시에 ZIGBEE 네트워크 채널의 다양화와 SVM 분류 알고리즘을 이용하여 사용자의 생체신호를 처리하고 병원에 방문하지 않더라도 실시간으로 체온, 맥박, 혈압 변화를 확인 함 으로써 스마트 그리드와 u-Health 시스템을 동시에 구현 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 생체신호를 처리함에 있어 각 센서 노드들에서의 에너지 소모율을 최소화 시키면서 질의에 대한 정확성 및 신속성을 최대화 시킬 수 있는 질의 처리기(Query Processor)를 구현하였으며, Mjoin을 이용하여 다중 질의 처리 및 SVM 분류 알고리즘을 통해 분류된 데이터의 양이 실제 입력되는 데이터보다 저장 공간을 평균 17.9%를 덜 차지하고, 0.848의 분류 정확도를 실험 결과 확인 할 수 있었다. The intelligent home Network system is based on smart grid. It is to express the use of electricity, the expense and the condition of users’ health in real time. I combined smart grid and U-healthcare system through ZIGBEE home network in order to realize the intelligent home system which is based on smart grid. The intelligent home Network system contributed to the management of electricity and reduction of electric bills. At that time, it was connected to PLC modem, DCU and home appliance attached wireless sensor. In addition, by diversifying the ZIGBEE network channel and using the SVM classification algorithm, it can process biometric data of users and check temperature, pulse and blood pressure in real time without visiting hospital. I realized the query processor that minimize the attrition rate of each sensor node’s energy and maximize the accuracy and speed of query in processing biometric data. I confirmed that the data, classified from multiplex query processing and SVM classification algorithm, took up less storage space (average 17.9%). Also we confirmed that the accuracy of classification is 0.848.

2-dimensional (2D) dopant profiling in semiconductor device was carried out by electron holography and scanning capacitance microscopy methods with the same multi-layered p-n junction sample. The dopant profiles obtained from two methods are in good agreement with each other. It demonstrates that reliability of dopant profile measurement can be increased through precise comparison of 2D profiles obtained from various techniques. (Received January 6, 2009)

The purpose of this study is to propose some alternatives for securing a right of light for units within the high-rise residential building complex. Through the literature review, national building codes on the right of light are investigated and both natural daylighting and lighting techniques using equipments are studied. Supposing that a natural daylighting system is a possible alternative to bring daylight into the building, several methods to secure the right of light for buildings in high-rise building complex are proposed through the shadow analysis of different building arrangement, The results of study are as follows; For the shaded areas for the units of lower part of building that is located on the northern part of complex, reflecting mirror can be introduced. Solar radiation area (diffuse light) per unit area of the reflecting mirror is about 20-25m2 and transmission efficiency is about 75%. Regardless of the amount of sunlight, the units of facing north direction is completely excluded from sunlight, but natural daylight can be introduced through the use of reflecting mirror or light duct. For enclosed core spaces without windows to outside, the light pipe equipments from the top floor are effective solutions for daylighting. The enclosed spaces within units can bring daylight with light cable. With the effect of ultraviolet light for interior space, many side effects like sterilization and dehumidification can be obtained.

Optimal values of the design variables for heat sink with 7 x 7 pin-fins are obtained for two different cross-sectional fin areas by integrating the computational fluid dynamics and mathematical optimization technology. In the pin-fins heat sink, the optimum design variables for fin height (h), fin width (D), and fan-to—heat sink distance (c) can be achieved when the thermal resistance ( ち ) at the junction and the overall pressure drop (^p) are minimized simultaneously. To complete the optimization, the finite volume method for calculating the objective functions and SQP method for solving the constrained non-linear optimization problem are adopted.
