원전 조기경보 시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 패턴모델 및 고장판정 조건의 최적화

본 논문에서는 원전 조기경보 시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 위해 수행한 내역에 관해 기술한다. 기 구축된 데이터 특성 기반의 시스템을 설비의 특성과 전문가의 경험을 반영하여 최적화함으로써, 시스템의 성능과 신뢰성을 향상시켰다. 최적화 과정은 크게 두 가지로 분류되는데, 먼저 시스템의 예측성능을 향상시키기 위해 패턴모델을 최적화한 후 오경보 발생을 예방하기 위해 경보 발생을 결정하는 고장판정 조건을 최적화하였다. 수행결과 시스템의 예측성능과 경보 신뢰성이 크게 향상되어, 제안된 방법이 효과적인 것을 확인하였다. In this study, an enhancement of reliability in early warning system for NPPs is carried out. Previous early warning system adopts a data-driven approach which does not consider equipment characteristics and expert know-how. To overcome this weakness and improve the reliability, two methods of system optimization are performed. First, to improve the estimation ability of the signals, pattern models are optimized. Second, important parameters that determine fault decision rule are optimized to evade false warnings. The results show that the reliability of system is greatly improved and confirm the effectiveness of proposed approach.
펌프 기동 및 정지에 따른 배관 압력상승과 수격작용 영향 고찰

In the fire protection system or fire fighting water supply system, the jockey pump is generally installed for the prevention of the pressure decrease of pipes, the frequent driving of the fire pump and protection the pipes from the water hammer. In this paper, the pressure-rise in fire fighting water distribution pipes in condition of pipe pressurization by the surge tank at the start-up and the sudden-stop of the fire pump without additional installation of jockey pump is considered by using simple formula calculations and the evaluation of water hammer occurrence in condition of pipe pressurization by the surge tank is included. As a result, the pressure-rise of pipes is less than the pipe design pressure at the condition of pump's start-up and sudden stop, and the possibility of water hammer occurrence is remarkably low due to pressurization of the pipes by the surge tank.

Antimicrobial acitivity of chitosan fiber was reinforced by N-halamine which is a compound containing nitrogen-chlorine covalent bond that is formed by halogenation of amine in chitosan. Upon pH and chlorination time of sodium hypochlorite solution, aminogroup in chitosan fiber was differnetly chlorinated according to respective conditions. The chlorination of chitosan fiber was confirmed by iodometric titration. The results obtained are following: longer reaction time caused the chlorination of chitosan fibers to increase, and acidic conditions during the treatemnt was more effective compared to alkaline or neutral conditions. The chlorinated chitosan fibers showed powerful antimicrobial activity against both E. coli and S. aureus. SEM observations demonstrated that the chlorinated chitosan fibers were not damaged under the acidic treatment condition.

Sorafenib is a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits Raf kinase and the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor intracellular kinase pathway and is the first agent to demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in overall survival for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, there were few cases of partial or complete response reported in the previous studies. We herein report a case of dramatic partial response in a patient who had advanced HCC with multiple lung metastasis and portal vein thrombosis treated with sorafenib. (J Liver Cancer 2016;16:57-62)
한국표준형 원전 소내전력설비 실시간 상태감시용 전력계통도 개발

발전소의 안전 및 비안전 관련 기기들은 정상운전중에는 주발전기에서 생산된 전력을 공급받지만, 발전기 정지와 같은 사고로 인해 소내전력을 공급받지 못하면 발전소 외부로부터 전력을 공급받도록 되어 있다. 소내 전력계통은 발전소 안전 및 비안전 관련 설비에 전원공급하는 역할을 함으로써, 발전소 이상상태에 따라 소내 전원이 차단되더라도 발전소 중대사고를 예방한다. 한수원은 원전 신뢰성 제고를 위해 원격지인 경주본사 원전종합상황실에서 원전 운전상태를 실시간 통합감시 및 이상징후 조기감지 시스템을 3 년에 걸쳐 구축하고 2016 년부터 운영하고 있다. 원전 안전성이 강조되면서 발전소내 전력설비 상태를 실시간 파악할 수 있는 신기술이 필요해졌다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국내기술로 개발된 한국표준형원전인 OPR1000 발전소내 전력설비를 실시간 상태감시할 수 있는 스마트 전력계통도 개발내역을 소개하고자 한다. 전력계통도 개발 시 활용부서인 원전종합상황실의 의견을 수렴하여 개발항목을 도출하였고, 최종사용자의 친숙성을 고려하여 전력계통도 도면에 모선의 주요부하와 비상디젤발전기/인버터 /UPS 위치를 선정하였으며, 원전종합상황실 전면부 55 인치 대형 디스플레이 4 대(2 행 X 2 열)에 띄웠을 때 도면의 가독성이 극대화되도록 설계하였다. 이를 통해 OPR1000 원전 내 전력설비 작동상태를 효율적으로 감시함으로서 OPR1000 원전의 안전성 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다. The safety and non-safety related devices of a power plant are supplied with power produced by the main generator during normal operation, but when the power within the plant is not supplied due to an accident such as a stoppage of the main generator, power is supplied from the outside of the power plant. The on-site power system supplies power to the safety and non-safety related facilities of the power plant to prevent serious accidents in the power plant even if the power in the plant is cut off due to abnormal conditions of the power plant. In order to improve the reliability of nuclear power plants, KHNP built a system that can monitor the operation status of nuclear power plants in real time and detect abnormal symptoms early in the E-Tower(integrated control room of domestic operating nuclear power plants) located at the Gyeongju headquarters far away from the power plants over three years and has been operating since 2016. As the safety of nuclear power plants is emphasized, a new technology is needed that can determine the status of power facilities in power plants in real time. In this paper, it is introduced the development details of a smart power system diagram that can monitor real-time status of power facilities in the OPR1000(Optimized Power Reactor 1000) power plant, a Korean standard nuclear power plant developed with domestic technology. When developing the power system diagram, after collecting the opinions of the people in the utilization department, E-Tower, and deriving the development items, the locations of the main load of the bus, the emergency diesel generator, inverter, and UPS were selected on the power system diagram in consideration of the familiarity of end users. Also it is designed to maximize the readability of the drawing when it is placed on four 55-inch large displays(2 rows x 2 columns) on the front side of the E-Tower. Through this, it is expected to greatly contribute to the safety improvement of the OPR1000 nuclear power plant by efficiently monitoring the operation status of the power facilities in the OPR1000 nuclear power plant
