      • Teacher's Role in Acquiring Second Language

        세계화에 맞추어 제 2 외국어의 습득은 필수적인 추세이다. 많은 어린이들에게 학교란 언어능력과 많은 사회적 기술들이 발달되어질 수 있는 장소이다. 그래서 교사의 역할 역시 중요하다 하겠다. 보통 어린이들이 외국어를 배우는데 있어서 성인들보다 더 쉽게 혹은 더 빨리 배운다고 알려져 있지만 아이들도 그들 나름대로의 어려운 과정을 겪는다. 모국어와 제 2 외국어 습득에 있어서 어린아이들의 중요한 차이점은 모국어의 습득은 그들의 인지구조에 따라 발달하지만 제 2 외국어의 습득은 그들의 인지구조의 발달과 관련이 없다는 점이다. 모국어와 제 2 외국어를 습득하는데 있어서 공통되는 한 가지 특징은 아이들이 의사 소통하기 위해 언어를 사용하려고 하는 시간과 노력이다. 처음 제 2 외국어를 접하는 학생들에게 교사는 수업 시간에 학생들을 안락한 환경을 제공해야 라고 말할 기회를 자주 줘야한다. 그들이 무엇인가를 말했을 때 긍정적 보상과 강화를 해주어야 한다. 만약 그들에게 부정적 보상이 주어졌을 경우 아마도 그들은 외국어 습득에 있어서 어려움을 겪게 될 것이다. 아이들은 교사와 또래간의 상호작용을 통해 언어를 습득해 나간다. 그들이 제2 외국어를 배우기 시작할 때 교사의 역할은 중요하다. 교사의 보상에 따라 아이의 자부심과 동일시에 영향을 미치게 될 것이다 이 연구에서 제 2 외국어의 습득에 대한 이론적 배경을 찾아보고 제 2 외국어 습득이 아이들의 지적 언어능력 인지발달들에 끼치는 영향을 살펴보고 이에 대한 교사의 교수방법과 실제 수업에서의 적용 방법 등에 대해 연구해 보겠다.

        The point of this study is to select the most common situation in our daily lives and to make these elements our learning subjects. On every small subject, the outline of learning is mentioned, and the function of recording is added for some more interesting students to carry out the learning of speaking and listening for themselves. They are the characteristics of this courseware. In the courseware, helping words in an important learning part help students to understand easily their study. Feedback must be provided when the learning of each unit is finished. This study proposes to use multimedia courseware to improve the communicative language skills of students and to establish a multimedia lab in each school in order to teach English more effectively.

      • 基本 看護敎育 課程에서의 保建看護 實習指導에 對한 調査硏究

        A Survey was conducted on 448 senior students in 6 collegiate programs and 10 diploma school of nursing, 27 public health nursing faculty and 17 public health nurses during the period of 6 weeks from June 15, to July 31, 1974, to explore the status of public health nursing field practice in basic nursing program. The pretested questionnaires were used as a tool for collecting data. The findings are summarized as follows: 1. Weekly schedule pattern of field practice for public health nursing was established in 48.1 percent of the responded schools. 2. Nursing school offering the equal opportunities of public health nursing field practice for all the students were 82.5 percent of the responded schools. Remained schools were in selected basis. 3. Health centers were utilized as a field practice institutions of public health nursing in 88.9 precent of the responded schools. 4. Attitude of health centers to receive nursing students for public health nursing field practice was evaluated by 15.0 percent of the student, 47.4 percent of public health nursing faculty and 70.6percent of public health nurses as "favorably welcome" 5. Only 20.8 percent of the students who completed their practice considered their case loads were sufficient while 50.2 percent of them were thinking that as insufficient. 6. Utilization of facilities and supplies in health centers were evaluated by 38.2 percent of the students as unable to use. Only 2.9 percent of the students were thinking that was very much to use . 7. Students criticized about public health nurses as follows; little attention and less cooperative to the student-35.3 percent, lack of eagerness and less faithful-27.0 percent, poor interpersonal relationship-18.5 percent of the students. 8. Complaints of nursing students in relation to instruction of public health nursing filed practice were as follows; vacancy of instructor-36.8 percent, not well organized plan on practice by the instructor-22.5 percent, insufficient instruction-21.8 percent, instruction by unqualified nurse-19.4 percent. 9. Home visiting was experienced by 89.3 percent of the students, clinic management was 98.4 percent, group teaching was 23.9 percent. 10. scoring card was used as an evaluation tool for public health nursing field practice in 55.6 percent of the responded schools, check list was 22.3 percent, criterion measuring scale was 7.3 percent. 11. General complaints of the nursing students about public health nursing field practice as follows; improper and overloading task-33.5 percent, inadequate learning experience-24.7 percent, careless on aseptic techniques-14.6 percent.

      • 의사소통능력에 중점을 둔 영어 교수법

        English has been learned or taught as a foreign language for a long time in Korea, but it is still regarded as a very difficult language to learn or teach. This is because English teachers have chiefly depended on the grammar-translation method of teaching English. Recently they have begun to use many other methods which were developed in foreign countries. But these teaching methods contain many difficulties in being applied in Korea. The purpose of this paper is to present a direction for English education after examining the theoretical background and teaching methods for communicative competence. For a socially acceptable and contextually appropriate use of language, this paper examines the theoretical background of communicative competence studied by Hymes, Halliday, Paulston, Cummins, Canale & Swain, Savignon and Campbell & Wales. The following teaching methods which have improved communicative competence are presented: Situational Reinforcement, the Microwave Method, the Audio-Visual Method, the Silent Way, Community Language Learning, Total Physical Response, and Natural Approach. All of these methods develop various exercises that simulate real situation. Thus theses methods help the language learner to gain communicative competence by understanding contextually connected sentences. Today, the utmost concern to teachers is the most efficient method of teaching English. With the help of the various teaching methods discussed in this paper, the most effective way of teaching English to Koreans can be developed

        소비자들은 왜 구매 이후에도 정보를 탐색할까? 소비자들의 인지통제 욕구 및 능력통제 욕구를 중심으로

        최근 다양한 미디어들의 등장으로 소비자들의 정보검색이 수월해짐에 따라, 구매가 완료된 이후 제품에 대해 만족하는 경우에도 적극적으로 정보를 찾아보는 현상이 많아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이처럼 소비자들이 제품을 구매한 이후에도 정보를 탐색하는 동기에 대해 살펴보았다. 집단인지부조화 이론과 자기고양 이론을 바탕으로 6개의 가설이 수립되었으며, 가설들은 129명을 대상으로 2회의 실험을 통해 검증되었다. 첫째, 인지부조화 상황에 접한 소비자들은 인지통제 욕구가 높아지며, 이에 따라 자신이 구매한 제품뿐 아니라 비교했던 제품에 대한 정보검색이 늘어나는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기이미지 위협 상황에 접한 소비자들은 능력통제 욕구가 높아져 역시 자신이 구매한 제품과 비교했던 제품들에 대한 정보탐색이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 소비자들이 구매 이후에 더 적극적으로 정보를 찾을 수 있다는 가능성을 보여줌으로써 뉴미디어 시대 소비자 의사결정 연구에 많은 시사점을 제공하며, 특히 기업이 이미 자사의 제품을 구매한 고객들과 어떻게 커뮤니케이션 해야 하는 지에 대한 여러 가지 실무적 시사점을 제공한다. With the growth of new media, it becomes much easier for consumers to search product/service information. As a result, consumers are more likely to search product/service information even if they are happy with what they purchased. In this paper, we explore consumers’ motivations of postpurchase information search. Based on collective cognitive dissonance theory and self-enhancement theory, we identify two motivations of postpurchase information search: 1) cognitive control and 2) capability control. Two lab experiments have been conducted for 129 participants to test 6 hypotheses. The results indicate that consumers under collective cognitive dissonance situation in the postpurchase stage show higher desire for cognitive control, and subsequently higher intention to search more information about what they purchased. In addition, consumers exposed to self-image threat are more likely to seek capability control and show higher intention to search more information about what they chose. This study sheds some lights on consumer research in new media era by proving that consumers could actively search information even after they complete purchase. Moreover, practical implications on how to communicate with consumers in postpurchase stage are suggested.
