The purpose of this study was to determine the association between school administrator support as perceived by nutrition teachers (dietitians) and job satisfaction in order to provide data concerning efficient job performance of nutrition teachers, to determine effects of school administrator support on job satisfaction in nutrition teachers, and to provide basic data that could help improve school meals. Major supporters of nutrition teachers (dietitians) were chief administrators (55.3%), principals (27.2%), assistant principals (15.0%), and managers in charge (2.4%). Nutrition teachers (dietitians) scored 3.38 for perception of school administrator support, 3.66 for emotional support, 3.27 for informational support, 3.22 for instrumental support, and 3.11 for evaluation support. Support of nutrition teachers (dietitians) by school managers included emotional support (3.66)>informational support (3.27)>instrumental support (3.22)>evaluative support (3.11). Nutrition teachers (dietitians) scored 3.37 for job satisfaction, as follows: work performance (4.19)>interpersonal relationships (3.39)>job satisfaction in general (3.37)>job itself (3.29)>job environment (3.07)>performance rating and benefits system (2.70). Statistically significant correlation was observed between perception of school administrator support and job satisfaction (r= .771, p< .01). Therefore, school administrators are necessary to provide evaluative supports to nutrition teachers (dietitians), performance assessment, employee benefit packages, and improvement of school meal plans and quality.

The extracts of Trachelospermum asiaticum were examined for the inhibitory effect on the melanin synthesis in B16/F10 mouse melanoma cells, to evaluate as a functional ingredient for cosmetics. Similar to the effect of arbutin at 50 μg/mL (38%), 70% ethanol extracts, chloroform and ethyl acetate layers showed 34%, 52% and 45% of inhibition at 100 μg/mL. Investigation of constituents from the ethanol extracts of T. asiaticum led to the identification of six compounds; arctigenin (1), matairesinol (2), arctiin(3), luteolin 7-O-glucoside (4), quercitrin (5), luteolin 4`-O-glucoside (6). The compound (5) was isolated from T. asiaticum for the first time, and more interestingly, compounds 1∼3 showed 58%, 84% and 14% inhibitory effect of melanin synthesis. Based on these resutls, we can propose T. asiaticum is a natural cosmeceutical ingredient with skin brightening effect.

We identified active components from the methanol extract of Opuntia ficus-indica seeds. Five compounds were identified: 9‘-O-methyl isoamericanol A (1), americanol A (2), 3,3‘-bisdemethylpinoresinol (3), isoamericanin A (4) and adenosine (5). We evaluated the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and melanogenesis inhibitory effects of these compounds. In antioxidant test, compounds 2, 3, 4 and 5 showed 12-47% of ROS generation inhibition at the concentration of 100 μg/mL. In NO assay, compounds 2 and 3 are similar with the positive control, quercetin by displaying IC<SUB>50</SUB> of 57.80, 57.27, and 51.44 μg/mL, respectively. Furthermore, melanogenesis inhibitory effects of compounds 2, 3, and 4 were 3 to 5 times higher than arbutin, a well-known skin whightening agent. These results indicate that Opuntia ficus-indica seed can be an effective natural cosmetic ingredient.

In addition to the global economic difficulties caused by the radio waves of Covid-19, the employment stress of college students has become a social problem due to the recent difficulty in finding employment. In this study, by analyzing the effects of the stagnation of the employment market on the employment preparation behavior and employment stress of university students due to the spread of Covid-19, we learned about the employment-related psychology of university students and became uneasy about employment preparation in the situation of Covid-19. I wanted to find a way to reassure my life. Research results It was found that the correlation between cosmetology college student s corona 19 recognition, employment preparation behavior, and employment stress is + at the p <.01 level except for some. 미용 전공 대학생의 비대면 수업경험이 학습무기력 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

In the field of education, there has been a general change in the learning situation with non-face-to-face classes, as well as phenomena related to adaptation to university life. However, non-face-to-face classes have more side effects than traditional face-to-face classes, and research on the experience of non-face-to-face classes, learning apathy, and self-efficacy among cosmetology majors is incomplete. Therefore, as a result of analyzing this study, we analyzed the influence of non-face-to-face class experience on learning apathy among college students majoring in cosmetology, and found that there was a statistically significant effect on learning apathy(β=-.621, p<.001) and an analysis of the effect on self-efficacy revealed that social efficacy(β=.632, p<.001) and self-regulatory efficacy(β=.340, p <.001)was shown to have a statistically significant effect on failure anxiety and efficacy(β =.124, p<.001) The results of this study revealed that the experience of non-face-to-face classes had a significant impact on learning apathy and self-efficacy among cosmetology majors. Through this study, we hope to stimulate discussion about the non-face-to-face class experiences, learning apathy, and sense of self-efficacy among cosmetology majors. 최근 교육분야에서는 전염병 상황에 따른 대학생들의 비대면 수업이라는 학습상황의 전면적 변화와 더불어 대학생활 적응에서 나타나는 현상이 비대면 수업에 유기적으로 연결되어 작용하고 있다. 하지만비대면 수업은 기존 대면 수업보다 여러 가지 부작용이 나타나고 있으며, 미용전공 대학생의 비대면 수업경험, 학습무기력, 자기효능감에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 미용을 전공한 대학생의 비대면수업경험이 학습무기력에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 학습무기력(β=-.621, p<.001)에 유의미한 부(-)의영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 사회적효능감(β=.632, p<.001), 자기조절효능감(β=.340, p<.001), 실패불안효능감(β=.124, p<.001)에 유의미한 영향을 미치는것으로 나타났다. 연구결과 미용을 전공한 대학생의 비대면으로 수업한 경험이 학습무기력 및 자기효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 미용을 전공한 대학생의 비대면수업경험과 학습무기력, 자기효능감에 대한 논의가 활발히 이루어지기를 기대한다.

돌외 잎 추출물의 콜라겐 합성 증진 성분 규명

본 연구에서는 주름개선 화장품 원료를 개발하기 위하여 돌외 잎 70% 에탄올 추출물을 제조하여 섬유아세포 HDFn에 대하여 콜라겐 합성능을 측정하였다. 그 결과 돌외 추출물이 세포 독성 없이 농도 의존적으로 콜라겐 합성을 촉진함을 확인하였다. 돌외 추출물로부터 용매 분획 및 크로마토그래피 분리과정을 거쳐 2개의 활성 성분을 분리하였다. NMR 데이터 및 문헌치로 확인한 결과 이들은 플라보노이드 배당체인 Ombuine 3-O-rutinoside(1) 및 Quercetin 3-O-rutinoside(2)로 규명되었다. 섬유아세포의 type I procollagen 생합성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 상기 화합물은 농도 의존적으로 콜라겐 합성을 촉진함을 알 수 있었다. 본 실험 결과는 화합물 1과 2를 함유한 돌외 추출물의 주름개선 화장품 소재로서의 개발 가능성을 보여주고 있다. In order to discover ingredients for wrinkle-care cosmetics, we prepared 70% ethanol extract from Gynostemma pentaphyllum and examined its activity on collagen synthesis using fibroblast HDFn cells. The G. pentaphyllum extract induced the production of type I procollagen in a dose-dependent manner without showing cell toxicity. The active constituents were isolated from the extract by solvent fractionation and chromatographic purification procedures. NMR data and literature studies led to determine the two isolated compounds as the flavonoid glycosides such as ombuine 3-O-rutinoside (1) and quercetin 3-O-rutinoside (2). The activity screening tests showed that the isolates 1 and 2 induced the production of type I procollagen in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggested that G. pentaphyllum extract containing the flavonoids 1 and 2 could be useful as an active ingredient for wrinkle-care cosmetics.
