The fabrication method used for mineral hydrate is similar to that of ALC (autoclaved lightweight concrete), but the fabrication of normal slurry with a considerable amount of a foaming agent is difficult due to material separation and collapse of the slurry. Therefore, the development of fabrication methods for normal slurry is necessary. The final product, mineral hydrate insulation, has excellent thermal properties but poor strength characteristic given the many pores. In this study, in order to fabricate normal slurry, the viscosity and foaming time of the slurry were controlled. The mixing ratio of the starting material and the polypropylene fiber was controlled to improve the strength. Mineral hydrate with polypropylene fiber showed a higher strength than that without this type of fiber. Specifically, the compressive strength of mineral hydrate with 2% polypropylene fiber added to it was more than 40% higher than that without the fiber.
A blending method for decrosslinked polyethylene using continuous supercritical process

The recycling of thermosetting polymers such as crosslinked polyethylene has attracted considerable attention regarding the prevention of environmental pollution and resources conservation around the world. However, most thermoset polymers have been burned or land-filled due to their low thermoplasticity and poor processability. This presentation reports a blending method for decrosslinked polyethylene using continuous supercritical process. In this study, through the mechanical, thermal, structural and rheological analysis, decrosslinking reaction could be achieved and blending with decrosslinked PE and LLDPE was successfully carried out.

The form of the enterprise of the L.N.G project consists of such three enterprises that the construction and operation of the liquefication plant of the natural gas, and L.N.G tankers operating enterprise and the receiving and storaging plant of the L.N.G. above mentioned three enterprices concerned with capital and technique mutually, and so it arises such results that the foundmental requirements of the fuel the longterm and safty-price suply of the L.N.G. are met. Natural gas as a power plant fuel is cheaper and clean fuel than the Bunker C fuel.

The Chinese traditional medical science “pen ts'ao shi”(本草學)”, which inclueded technics of alchemy for medical treatment, was partly developed as a generalized conventional medical science. Gunpowder was invented as a result of discovering the fact that potassium nitrate acts as an oxygen carrier in the process of manufacturing traditional medicine by heating the mixture of potassium nitrate and sulfur, and it was also discovered that with the mixture of potassium nitrate, sulfur and charcoal possesses an explosion capability. The manufacturing technology of gunpowder was transmitted to Europe from China through Arabia but the manufacturing technology of modern explosives was developed in Europe in the 17th century as a result of theoretical development of basic chemistry. Various kinds of new explosives were discovered in the 19th century and rapid progress was made in dynamite manufacturing. However, recently the demand for dynamite has decreased in favor of the ANFO explosive which is less expensive to produce and a safer explosive due to the improvment of ANFO production technology.

This study was carried out to prepare the following counter-plan for prevention of accidents caused by explosives. Accidents caused by explosions can be prevented through applying effectively the safety counter-plan which includes reasonable technological, educational and management counter-measures established by means of introducing safety engineering theorems. Appling safety counter-plans effectively, requires legal controls and standard rules as well as the establishment of a systematic working organization in charge of carring out the counter-plan effectively. In general, almost all accidents caused by explosions occur because of engineering faults and careless management in the handling of explosives. Therefore, all engineers engaged in manufacturing explosives as well as workers who deal with handling explosive products should bear in mind these facts and should devote themselves to the prevention of accident.
