골프 퍼팅의 인적 오류에 의한 방향오차 최소화에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 골프 경기의 퍼팅 동작과 퍼팅된 공의 방향성과의 역학적 관계를 밝혀 경기자가 올바로 퍼팅할 수 있는 요인을 명확히 하고, 이를 바탕으로 경기자의 퍼팅 오류에 대해서도 퍼팅 성공률을 증가시키는 새로운 퍼터의 형상을 제안한다. 퍼팅에서의 인적 오류는 타구 시 퍼터 헤드의 회전과 목표방향에 평행하지 않은 스트로크에서 발생한다. 이러한 경기자의 비의도적인 오류에 대해 타구된 공의 방향오차를 최소화할 수 있는 퍼터의 외형 설계를 이론적 근거와 함께 제시한다. 제안된 퍼터는 좌우방향으로 볼록한 곡면 타구면을 가지며, 이러한 볼록한 형상은 경기자의 몸 쪽으로 당기는 풀스윙이나 몸 바깥쪽으로 미는 푸시스윙에 대해 공의 방향오차를 감소시킨다. 제안된 퍼터에 대해 수리 통계적 해석방법을 적용하여 방향 보정도와 퍼팅 성공률의 증가를 정량화하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 실제 필드시험(field test)에 의해 그 결과를 확인하였다. 개발된 해석 방법론은 경기자개개인의 운동 습관을 고려한 최적의 운동 기자재 개발에 응용될 수 있으며 결과적으로 경기력 향상에 도움을 줄 수 있다. Golf is rapidly becoming a popular sport around the globe. Accurate putting is a key factor in keeping a low score in the game of golf. However, anxiety and/or inexperience can make all golfers miss putts on a regular basis. Most of these misses occurred can be attributed to either pulling the putter toward one`s body or pushing it away from one`s body during the putt. Two conditions must be met in order to putt in the correct direction. The first is that the hitting surface must be aligned perpendicularly to the intended path and the second is that the ball must be hit by moving the putter head parallel to the intended path. The proposed putter design by this study has a convexly curved shape of the hitting surface. The curved shape of the face decreases the directional deviation even when the ball makes contact away from the center of the rotated head. Statistical analysis has been done to show the direction-correcting effect and a field test was conducted using human subjects on real greens to see how much improvement can be obtained from using a curved-face putter. The test confirmed that using a proposed putter improved not only the success-rate but also the overall accuracy. This kind of analytic approach will be necessary to enhance athlete ability in sports and can be applied to design of better sporting equipments.

This research examines the influence of educational service quality of youth sports center and Taekwondo gym on customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth activities to provide basic date to come up with management strategy for youth sports. The parents of 3-13 years old living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area were selected as target. 380 questionnaires from youth sport centers and 382 questionnaires from Taekwondo gym were used to analyze the data. For the statistical data analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression were carried out by using SPSS 12.0 and the results are as follows. First, among educational service quality of youth sport center, `consulting`, `coach`, `environment` and `cost` factors showed significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, among educational service quality of Taekwondo gym, `coach`, `environment` and `program` factors showed significant effect on customer satisfaction. Third, among educational service quality of youth sport center, `program` and `coach` factors showed significant effect on word-of-mouth activities. Fourth, among educational service quality of Taekwondo gym, `coach`, `environment` and `program` factors showed significant effect on word-of-mouth activities. Last, the customer satisfaction of youth sports center and Taekwondo-gym showed significant effect on word-of-mouth activities.

생활체육참여자의 스포츠가치관에 관한 연구

This research aimed at investigating differences in sports value systems according to social strata formed by the structural social inequality among the participants in sports for all. For this purpose, adult males and females older than 19 years who participated in sports for all and lived in the Seoul metropolitan area as of 2006 were selected as population and a total of 598 participants were selected as the subjects of this survey by using stratified cluster random sampling and Convenience Sampling. For data collected from the survey, Frequency Analysis, Factor Analysis, t-test, One-Way ANOVA were performed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows statistical program, and to investigate significant differences between clusters, Least Significant Difference Post Hoc Test was performed. Based on such purpose of the research and methods thereof, following conclusions were reached: 1. Results from analysis of the sports value systems of participants in sports for all according to demographic characteristics revealed that; 1) there were statistically significant differences according to gender of participants in sports for all. 2) there were statistically significant differences according to age of participants in sports for all. 3) there were statistically significant differences according to marital status of participants in sports for all. 4) there were statistically significant differences according to schooling of participants in sports for all. 5) there were statistically significant differences according to occupations of participants in sports for all. 6) there were statistically significant differences according to frequency of participation of the participants in sports for all. 7) there were statistically significant differences according to the gross monthly income of the participants in sports for all.

중성자 수송방정식의 해의 양수성 해석

It is known that the first-order diamond-difference approximation is not guaranteed to yield positive solutions with given positive sources and cross sections, requiring negative-flux-fixups to correct this non-physical result. It is quite important for a solution method to have guaranteed positivity, since negative-flux-fixups demand additional computational work and sometimes can cause numerical instability when used with acceleration methods. Using the concept of S-matrix, we analyzed the positivity of a finite element solution scheme for the even-parity transport equation and a conventional 5-point finite difference scheme for the simplified even-parity transport equation. The result is that the even-parity transport equation does not have a guaranteed positivity, but the simplified even-parity equation has. Along with other characteristics this guaranteed positivity of the simplified even-parity transport equation enhances its usefulness despites of the mathematical weakness as an approximation to the transport equation.

In some classes of radiative and neutron transport problems that include strongly diffusing media, it might be impractical to refine the mesh enough to enter the regime of thin mesh cells. This is because such media are too optically thick to realistically allow sufficient mesh refinement. Considering that the simplified even-parity neutron transport equation is an approximation to the Boltzmann and even-parity transport equation, it is advantageous if the method has the correct diffusion limit; in other words, it gives generally accurate results in diffusing regimes, even when mesh cells are not thin. Our asymptotic analyses have shown that the so-called thick diffusion limit is satisfied by the finite element even-parity and simplified even-parity transport equations.

수평배수재 진공압밀 지배방정식에 대한 수치해법 개발

We developed a numerical method for the problem of dissipating pore-water in hydraulic fills. The Dufort-Frankel's finite difference algorithms were applied to the problem with remodeled boundary conditions. The result showed that the horizontal drain with the vacuum consolidation is more efficient than self-weight or horizontal drain without vacuum in consolidating hydraulic fills.
