        CO<sub>2</sub> 부가반응에 적용된 Silica 담지 이온성 액체 촉매

        본 총설에서는 $CO_2$와 에폭시 화합물의 부가반응에서 무정형, SBA, MCM 또는 상업적으로 쉽게 이용 가능한 다양한 silica 지지체에 담지된 이온성 액체의 촉매적 적용가능성에 대하여 검토하였다. $CO_2$ 부가반응에 의한 5원환 카보네이트의 합성에 대하여 담지된 이온성 액체의 구조적인 영향과 silica 지지체의 종류에 따른 촉매 활성을 검토한 바, 관능기 또는 금속을 보유한 이온성 액체인 경우에 촉매 성능이 개선됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 silica에 담지된 이온성 액체(SSIL) 촉매의 재사용성과 반응메커니즘을 조사하여 제시하였다. The catalytic applicability of various ionic liquids immobilized on different silica-supports such as amorphous, SBA, MCM and commercial silica for the cycloaddition of $CO_2$ and epoxides is reviewed in this work. The effects of different structures of supported ionic liquids and silica supports in the synthesis cyclic carbonate by the cycloaddition of $CO_2$ have been remarked. The studies revealed that ionic liquids possessing functional groups or metals exhibited increased catalytic performance towards cyclic carbonate synthesis. Moreover, the reusability of SSIL catalyst and mechanism for the cycloaddition of $CO_2$ were studied.

        금속 함유 이온성 액체 촉매상에서의 프로필렌 카보네이트의 합성

        In this study, three different metal-containing ionic liquid catalysts were prepared by metal insertion and characterized by various physicochemical analytic methods. The catalytic performance of the metal containing ionic liquids in the cycloaddition of CO2 with propylene oxide (PO) to produce propylene carbonate (PC) was investigated under the solvent free condition. The order of approximate rate constants (Kapp) for the metal containing ionic liquid catalysts was (MeIm)2ZnCl2, > (MeIm)2FeCl2 > (MeIm)2CuCl2. These results are in accord with the experimentally obtained activity order of the different metal containing ionic liquid catalysts.

        Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR)은 유리섬유와 같은 강화제와 함께 사용되어 복합재료로 사용된다. 열경화성 수지인 UPR은 복합재료의 다양한 성형법 중 생산성이 우수하고 대량생산에 유리한sheet molding compound (SMC) 성형법으로 산업에서 사용되고 있다. UPR을 기지재로 하는 섬유강화복합재료는 가볍고, 물성이 뛰어난 장점이 있지만 충격에 약하여 깨지기 쉽고, 경화 이후에는 부피가감소하는 단점이 있기 때문에 강인성과 유연성을 부여할 수 있는 폴리올과 캡핑제를 달리하는 폴리우레탄 4종을 합성하여 첨가하여 그 단점을 극복하고자 하였다. Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR) is in general used as a resin to prepare for composite materials with reinforcing materials such as glass fibers. UPR, a thermosetting resin, is used in industry to prepare for sheet molding compound (SMC) molding prepreg that has excellent productivity and is advantageous for mass production among various molding methods of composite materials. The fiber-reinforced composite material using UPR as a matrix material is light and has the advantage of excellent physical properties, but it is weak against impact and is fragile. Four types of polyurethane were synthesized and added to UPR resin to overcome the shortcomings.

        AKD(alkyl ketene dimer) used widely as a neutral sizing agent is produced industrially by halogenization of stearic acid followed by dimerization of alkyl ketene. In the present work, to suppress the byproduct of hydrochloric acid and to improve reaction pathway. AKD was prepared through of ketene intermediate by dehydration of stearic acid in gas phase using reaction with silanol on silica as active sites of the catalyst SBA-15 showed the highest activity due to the large and open tubular pores. It was found that main products were dimer and trimer. Our goal of the present work was to increase of the selectivity for the dimer.

        TPA (tungstophosphoric acid), a typical heteropoly acid, was impregnated on SBA-15 to modify the acidic property of the mesoporous catalyst. The TPA was highly dispersed on the SBA-15 which has large surface area confirming by nitrogen adsorption, X-ray diffraction, and infrared spectroscopy. According to the result of in-situ FTIR spectroscopy using pyridine as a probe molecule, it was revealed that silanol group was gradually decreased with increasing the loading amount of TPA, and that new acidic site different from that of pure TPA was generated resulting in the enhancement of catalytic activity. TPA could act as a promoter when loaded on SBA-15 by relatively small amount, but the catalytic activity was greatly decreased due to the loss of silanol group as an active site when a large amount of TPA was loaded.

        Cantor는 비완비인 유리수의 집합 Q에서 완비된 실수의 집합 R을 얻었다. 또한 Hausdorff는 이러한 성질을 확장하여 완비가 아닌 거리 공간으로부터 완비인 거리 공간을 얻었다. 그 이후 여러 공간의 완비성이 연구되어 왔다. 이 논문은 위상적 벡터공간을 완비화하는데 Minimal Cauchy filter를 이용하여 Cantor의 방법에 따라 추론한 결과이다.

      • 메조포어 실리카 촉매상에서의 카르복실산 탈수반응

        Catalytic dehydration of carboxylic acid on mesoporous silica was investigated. Direct conversion of high molecular weight carboxylic acid to ketene and ketene derivatives was observed. Besides the alkyl ketene dimer (AKD), stearic anhydride and β-keto acid were also formed. AKD is so reactive that it can easily react with water to become ketone via β-keto acid as an intermediate. However, among the catalytic dehydration products, β-keto acid was major product with high yield, but ketone was not detected. In the catalytic dehydration condition, β-keto acid was made from the ring opening of AKD mainly by silanol group. It was the most important key factor to shorten the contact time in catalyst layer for raising the yield of AKD by preventing the formation of β-keto acid.
