        거제동광상(巨濟銅鑛床)의 광물공생관계(鑛物共生關係)와 유체포유물(流體包有物)

        Geoje copper ore deposits are fissure filled copper veins which developed in late Cretaceous pyroclastics, andesite and shale. Mineral paragenesis reveals a division of the hydrothermal mineralization into three stages: Stage I, deposition of pyrite, magnetite, specularite, quartz and chlorite; Stage II, deposition of chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, tetrahedrite, aikinite, cosalite, electrum, quartz and chlorite; Stage III, deposition of barren calcite. Filling temperatures of fluid inclusions in quartz of stage I range from 171 to $282^{\circ}C$ whereas fluid inclusions in quartz and sphalerite of stage II range from 213 to $262^{\circ}C$ and from 186 to $301^{\circ}C$ respectively. Salinities of fluid inclusions in quartz of stage I range from 5.2 to 11.2 weight percent equivalent to NaCl. Salinities of fluid inclusions in quartz and sphalerite of stage II range from 6.6 to 10.9 and from 7.1 to 14.4 weight percent equivalent NaCl. Salinities of ore fluid during major mineralization stage in this deposits reveal nearly the same ranges as those of many copper deposits in Koseong copper mining district which located about 30km apart from Geoje mine. But filling temperatures of fluid inclusions formed during major copper mineralization stage in this deposits show slightly lower than those of copper deposits in Koseong copper mining district.

        Purpose: Accurate evaluation of metastatic cervical lymph nodes plays a decisive role in the treatment and prognosis of patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. The purpose of this study is to investigate the usefulness of FDG-PET for diagnosis of cervical metastasis in the head and neck cancer by comparing with the conventional imaging study. Materials and Methods: The subjects on this study were 30 patients (24 males and 6 females, aged 39 to 76, mean 57.1) diagnosed as pathologic-proven squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck. All patients underwent preoperative FDG-PET, CT(n=27) or MRI (n=3). Their medical records were reviewed retrospectively. Using pathologic reports as a golden standard, the results of FDG-PET were compared with conventional imaging study (CT/MRI) in the evaluation of cervical metastasis. Results: Thirty patients had five different primary sites which were tongue (11), supraglottis (10), glottis (6), hypopharynx (2) and tonsil (1). A total of 40 neck dissections were performed unilaterally in 20 patients and bilaterally in 10 patients. Of these, 16 showed pathologically positive for lymph node metastasis. The sensitivity and specificity of FDG-PET for the diagnosis of cervical metastasis was 75% and 100% respectively, compared with conventional imaging of 56.3% and 95.8%, respectively. The difference of sensitivity was not statistically significant (p=0.453). Of 5 cases with small metastatic node (<1cm), 3 were detected on PET detected correctly but none were detected by CT. Conclusion : FDG-PET was more accurate than conventional imaging study in the diagnosis of metastatic lymph nodes in squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck, especially detection of small metastatic node. FDG-PET might be useful adjunct to conventional image in the preoperative evaluation of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

        교사의 수업 전문성에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 수업 전문성은 양성과정에서 시작하여 교사의 전 생애를 통해서 발달되고 변화된다. 교사 연수나 전문성 신장 프로그램 참여 경험은 이의 발달을 위한 좋은 계기나 자극이 되기도 한다. 이 연구에서는 교사의 수업 전문성에 대한 연구 성과를 통하여 수업 전문성의 특성과 발달, 그리고 교사연수의 영향에 대해서 알아보는 것이다. 수업전문성에 대한 이해는 과정-결과 모형과 같은 학생의 성취에 영향을 주는 특정한 기능이나 성향 파악에서 보다 복합적인 PCK, 실천적 지식 등으로 확장되어 왔다. 교사는 생애 주기별로 독특하고 특정한 발달 단계를 겪는다. 이는 개인의 지향과 특성 그리고 근무 상황에 따라 달라지며 우리나라 교사들은 전문적인 발달보다는 현장 적응적인 특성과 경험과 시행착오를 통한 제한적인 발달을 한다. 교사의 수업 전문성 발달에서 결정적 경험과 반성이 매우 중요한 역할을 하므로 이를 제공하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 교사들은 매일 매일의 수업을 실행하면서 실천적 반성을 통해서 지속적인 변화를 겪는다. 교사들의 수업전문성 향상을 위해서는 연수에 대한 부정적인 인식 극복, 수업 전문성에 대한 연구 성과를 활용한 교사 재교육 실행, 교사의 자발적 연구 모임 활성화, 학교의 발전과 교사의 전문성 신장을 연계, 교사들이 발달 단계에 적합한 연수 프로그램을 제공, 현장의 필요와 교사의 요구를 기반으로 한 발달 기회를 제공해야 한다. professional teaching ability receives more attention than ever. It is developing and changing throughout teachers entire career, beginning from the teacher education college. Attending in-service education or professional development workshop may provide effective opportunity or stimulus. By summarizing research on teachers professional teaching ability, the characteristics and development of professional teaching ability and the effects of in-service education on this are explored. Professional teaching ability had been understood based on process-product model. Recently, more comprehensive approach, such as PCK, practical knowledge have been developed. Teachers experience unique developmental process throughout career. It depends on personal orientations characteristics and working context. Korean teachers develop by adaptation and trial-and-error. In professional teaching ability development, critical experience or incidents play important role. It is important to provide such experience to teachers. Teachers also develop and experience continuous change from reflection-in-action in everyday teaching. For developing professional teaching ability, overcoming negative perception of teachers on in-service education, developing and administrating professional development program based on research, activating teachers spontaneous study meetings, connecting school development and teachers professional development, providing professional development program appropriate to teachers developmental stage, and based on needs and demands of teachers.

        Osteosarcoma is one of the most frequently occurring malignant bone tumor except for multiple myeloma. However, osteosarcoma of the mandible is rare and aggressive malignancy constituting about 5% to 13% of all cases of skeletal osteosarcoma. The authors experienced a case of osteosarcoma of the mandible in a 31-years old male patient. He visited our outpatient clinic with painless mass of the cheek. On the basis of the clinical and imaging findings, the differential diagnosis included giant cell tumor, histiocytosis and malignant bone tumor. In the first operation, the mass of the mandible was excised. Intraoperative microscopic examination of a frozen section did not yield a diagnosis: however, the final definitive histologic examination revealed osteoblastic osteosarcoma. After 15days, wide excision with hemimandibulectomy was completed followed by postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. With our experience, we report the progression of diagnosis and management for mandibular osteosrcoma.

        교육적으로 유의미한 의사소통을 위한 지구과학 관련 전시 라벨의 서술 특징

        본 연구는 국내 주요 과학관 및 자연사 박물관의 지구과학 관련 전시 라벨 텍스트의 서술 특징을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 국립 중앙 과학관과 서대문 자연사 박물관에서 자료를 수집하였고, 체계기능언어학을 일부 적용한 분석틀을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 라벨들은 1) 대부분 평서형 문장, 2) 적절한 과학적 정보의 양, 3) ``사실`` 위주의 정보제시, 4) 모두 논리적 설명 장르로 구성되어 있었다. 특히, 국립 중앙 과학관의 라벨들은 5) 전체 어휘 중 과학 용어의 비율이 높고 6) 주어의 절반 이상이 생략되거나 긴 명사화 형태였다. 결론적으로, 분석 대상 라벨들은 전시물과 관람객들 사이에서 과학 문화에 관한 양 방향적 의사소통을 이끌기보다 일 방향적인 의사소통을 일으킬 가능성이 높은 것으로 해석할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로, 과학 문화와 관람객의 일상 문화 사이의 열린 구조를 만들어 보다 교육적으로 유의미한 의사소통을 가능하게 하는 라벨 텍스트의 서술 특징들을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyse the descriptive characteristics of the label texts related to Earth Science at a science museum and a natural history museum in Korea. The data were collected from Korean National Science Museum and Seodaemun Natural History Museum. The analysis framework was modified according to the Systemic Functional Linguistics. As a result, characteristics of the labels are 1) mostly declarative sentences, 2) appropriate amount of scientific information, and 3) mainly ``facts``. Moreover, all of the text genre are 4) ``logical expositions``. Particularly in Korean National Science Museum, the labels present 5) more scientific words among the entire terminologies and 6) more than half subjects omitted or long nominalized. Those results may imply that the labels can lead one-way communication regarding the culture of science rather than two-way. This study presents the descriptive characteristics of the label texts to make educationally meaningful communication possible by building an open structure between visitors` own culture in everyday life and the culture of science.
