수요예측은 모든 생산적 활동을 수립하기 위한 기반이 되기 때문에 수요가 어느 정도 발생할 것인가에 대한 방향성에 대하여 파악하려고 일반적으로 설문조사를 이용하지만 무응답 및 불성실한 응답으로 인하여 설문응답 자료만으로 수요를 예측하기에는 부족하다. 따라서 수요와 관련 있는 변수를 이용한 분류모형으로 설문조사의 수요예측을 보정하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 설문조사를 통하여 평가 할 수 있는 직접적인 수요와 통계적 모형을 이용한 간접적 수요를 혼합하여 서비스 수요를 예측하는 혼합 모형을 제시하고자 한다. In generally, we use a method of the survey to forecast the economic demands and non-economic demands for a market trend. But we have a difficult problem to estimate the demand for the marketplace objectively because the survey with the non-response and the inadequate understanding on questionnaires did not provided the strong and uniform forecast. Here, we proposed a method compounded of survey and a statistical model to estimate the demand for the marketplace and discussed the mixture model applied to the service demand on an agency.
Isopleth Mapping 기법에 의한 봉계지역의 Landslide 활동성 연구

The inventory maps of landslide deposits show where landsliding has occured in the past, and serve as a general guide to slope stability. Isopleth maps derived from those inventory maps, generalize and quantify the areal distribution of landslide deposits in contour form. Isopleth maps can provide an economical means for the recognition of landslide activity and assessing the degree of landslide hazard in a large area, especially rural areas. Isopleth maps of Bonggye area, where the degree of landslide hazard is very high, show the mitigation of landslide activities remarkably by the remedial efforts during the period of 1954-1971.

Recently a fire risk has increased in Seoul due to the rapid increase in the number of high-rise buildings (50 floors or above 200m). Establishing fire safety of high-rise buildings is urgent through the establishment of an installation standard of the middle refuge floor (Ch.3), reinforcement of fire· refuge facilities (Ch.4-1), a measure to count stack effect and the ensurance of the high fire resistance of high strength concrete (Ch.4-2·3), the integrated system of the disaster management of buildings (Ch.5), The middle refuge floor of high-rise building is installed within 25 floor(s) in maximum, simultaneously the safety of occupants should be secured by adding refuge stairs in accordance with floor space, enlarging the width of the entrance. Installing the middle refuge floor of high-rise buildings on every 30th floor in maximum, which is the legal standard, can bring serious accidents by causing the refuge limit time exceed the final refuge competition time. Additionally, safety for the structure of high-rise buildings is secured by expanding fire fighting facilities with the performance based design and introducing the performance based design for the building structure. At the same time, reinforcement for the fire water source, automatic fire detection installation, wireless communication auxiliary devices, and smoke control system is established. To reduce the stack effect of high-rise buildings, a method based on the architecture plans and a scheme of facilities need to be considered concurrently. Also, the mitigation strategy of high strength concrete spalling needs to be established, The integrated system of the disaster management of high rise buildings with 3D indoor spacial information data base is required based on 『The special law for the safety management of high-rise buildings and complex buildings connecting to the underground』for the disaster management of high-rise building such as fire suppression and refuge plans.
다중이용업소 피난대책 향상 및 집중관리지역 구역화 방안

Recently multiple-user buildings has drawn big attention by citizen and policy-makers due to the ever-increasing fire incidents and the potential danger, Fire prevention and evacuation facilities and should be examined, and the locational characteristics of fire incidents in multiple-user buildings should be identified to prevent fire incidents and minimize victims. The purpose of this study is two-fold. The first is to improve evacuation facility measures in multiple-user buildings, and the second is to identify and zone the concentrated areas for fire safety management in Seoul. For the improvement of evacuation facility measures in multiple-user buildings, this study modeled to simulate evacuation capability by various fire safety facility options in kosiwon(mini-rooms residence) as a sample type of multiple-user buildings and suggested an improvement of evacuation plan to minimize casualties by fire incidents in multiple-user buildings. It is suggested that, if necessary, an evacuation modelling may be applied for the assessment of the suitability of evacuation facilities during the inspection of building fire safety. For the zoning of concentrated areas of multiple-user buildings fire prevention management, this study identified and delineated the concentrated areas one the basis of census tract level in Seoul and suggested an intensive management plan for fire prevention and rapid dispatch. Using GIS analysis, the concentrated areas of multiple-user buildings was selected about 211 sites and 2.165㎢, approximately 0.4% of Seoul areas. The analysis suggested that the more intensive and persistent management should be enforced for the selected concentrated areas of multiple-user buildings. Also, the analysis suggested that fire route designation and more 119 centers be necessary for the fire safety of the concentrated areas.

Solid and hazardous waste disposal site selection by using GIS(Geographic Information System) is the purpose of this study. The criteria of site selection are usually defined in accordance with geological, cultural and social characteristics. Unadequate adaptation of these criteria in a site selection may cause serious problem of water and soil pollution. The environmental information for extraction of these criteria consist of a lot of data: geology, geomorphology, hydrogeology, engineering geology, cultural and social information…. GIS could be easily applied to construct of this environmental information data base, and carry out cartography simulation using overlay mapping technique(polygon overlay). ARC/INFO(GIS system) was used for these studies, and AML(ARC/INFO Macro Language) in this system provided more variable and effective methods for cartography simulation. TM(Thematic Mapper) images were used for the evaluation of land cover/use in the studied area, by using ERDAS image processing system.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has developed the Sewer Management System to manage drainage and sewer facilities including manholes, outlets, and waste water treatment plants, except sewer networks. Yet the current system can only provide functions to manage sewer pipes and not fully estimate the amount of discharge. This study proposes a plan to develop sewer analysis systems using the SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) as an advanced sewer management system, The study is consist of four parts. The first part examines various cases of sewer management systems in domestic and foreign countries. The second part deals with a development plan for improved sewer management system by adding a sewer analysis system. The study proposes a development strategy of sewer analysis system using SWMM and urban inundation risk analysis model. The third part deals with new information technologies (IT) and the applications. The study examines government strategies for new IT development. This part recommends IT and GIS systems as technology bases. The fourth part proposes an implementation plan to improve sewer management system. The improved sewer management system by adding sewer analysis system can support decision-making for better design of drainage and sewer facilities. Further, it can contribute to improved effectiveness of sewer-related works and services for citizen.
