Temperature distribution, transformation and residual stresses generated during the quenching process of carbon steel. It follows many difficulties in the analytical considerations on those quenching process because of the coupling effects on temperature and metallic structures. In this paper one of the basic study on the quenching stresses was carried out for the case of the round steel bar specimen(SM45C) with 40㎜ both in its diameter and length. The temperature distributions considering strain hysteresis were numerically calculated by finite element technique. In calculating the transient temperature field, the heat flux between water and rod surface was determined from the heat transfer coefficient. The gradient of temperature is almost same to geometric of specimen. At early stage of the quenching process, the abrupt temperature gradient has been shown in the surface of the specimen.
플라스틱 부표 금형의 포켓/웹에 대한 자동계측 소프트웨어 모듈설계

On-machine automatic measuring software from 30D solid modeler is generally applied to assess the functional performance of a final produce for computer numerical control(CNC) machine. Automatic measuring software may amy be also be performed on individual components of CNC machine in which some functional aspect of the component must be examined and cannot be implicity determined by means of a mechanical inspection. The manufacturing specialist, combined with the appropriate software simulation, can not only create the commands to drive the virtual measuring but also can check for mistakes by viewing the computer graphics simulation of the tool cutting sequence. 연안 양식장에서 사용하는 플라스틱 부표 제작을 위한 금형의 제작납기 단축 면에서 공작물을 CNC공작기계에서 분리하지 않고, 직접 측정하는 자동계측 소프트웨어 시스템 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 유저가 사출금형 핵심 부품의 기본형상인 포켓과 웹에 대한 측정위치를 3차원 솔리드 모델로 지정함으로써, 자동적으로 측정 NC-자료를 얻을 수 있는 소프트웨어 모듈의 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 구체적인 결과로서, 유저인터페이스 기증을 향상시킨 포켓/웹의 형상에 대한 측정 소프트웨어 모듈 측정에 필요한 절차를 단축할 수 있었다. 금형의 특정 형상에 대한 측정 소프트웨어를 개발하여 활용범위를 확대하여 자동계측 소프트웨어시스템을 구축하는데 도움이 되는 기초자료를 얻었다. 앞으로는 현장의 관련 부서 작업자들이 자동계측 소프트웨어의 활용으로 CAN/CAM 및 CAT(computer aided testing)의 측정 자료를 공유함으로써, 가공과 측정정밀도와 품질의 신뢰성을 공히 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

The machinery arrangement of vessel engine room is a design phase that decides the location of various equipment in a compartment to make the most of the function of every components and to meet the limit of ship space at the same time. In case of the ship, only one of the several alternative layouts is selected. This process depends on the experience, knowledge and judgement of an expert and as a result of it's hard to get an objective evaluation. We reference a standard that can objectively evaluate alternative layout for machinery arrangement.

The expansion of vessel traffic volume in Yeosu port waterway could bring serious marine casualties which cause the loss of human lives, properties and marine pollution. For Gs-Caltex oil terminal, it is firstly calculated the accident occurrence probability by using Event Tree Analysis (ETA) methods based on the NURER/CR-1278(1983). Hoping that this thesis can help people to recognize the risk of the Yeosu port and establish the preventive measures for collision accidents might take place in oil terminal. This study suggests some measures to reduce the risk caused by oil spills and Yeosu fishermen avoid area such as marine pollution and it is required the additional in-depth studies on this matter.

It has already been know that quenching effect is influenced greatly by stirring and changing coolants temperature on quenching. But according to has past investigations its effect has not been taken into consideration quantitatively in the cooling process. The purpose of this study is that the influence of flow rate and temperature on the quenching effect control of cooling water as quenching medium is quantitatively examined by using the open channel. The quenching effect control was influenced by the water temperature and the flow rate. Although the quenching effect appeared loosely in the water temperature and the flow rate. Although the quenching effect appeared loosely in the water temperature of 50℃, it was shown that the quenching effect increased in the low flow rate of 31cm/sec.

The major problems associated with the manufacturing processes of the microaccelerometer based on the tunneling current concept is the residual stress. This paper deals with finite element analysis of residual stress causing pop up phenomenon which are induced in micromachining processes for a microaccelerometers sensor using silicon on insulator(SOI) wafer. After heating the tunnel gap up to $100^{\circ}C$and get it through cooling process and the additional beam up to $80^{\circ}C$get it through the cooling process. We learn the residual stress of each shape and compare the results with each other, after heating the tunnel gap up to $400^{\circ}Cduring$ the Pt deposition process. The equivalent stresses produced during the heating process of focused ion beam(FIB) cut was also to be about $0.02~0.25Pa/^{\circ}C$and cooling process the gradient of residual stresses of about $8.4\{times}10^2Pa/{\mu}m$ still at cantilever beam and connected part of paddle. We want to seek after the real cause of this pop up phenomenon and diminish this by change manufacturing processes of microaccelerometer sensors.
