        아동의 독서실태조사

        The purpose of present study is to investigate children's attitude toward reading, reading method, reading environment, reading volume, and then to compare the results obtained by sex, area and grade. The tool used in this survey was a questionaire designed specially by the investigator. The questionaire was distributed to 1339 children selected at the descretion of the investigator with due consideration of sex, area(large city, medium city and rural community) and grade (from 2nd grade of primary school to 2nd year of middle school). The results of this study are summerized as follows : 1) Regional difference was observed in respect of the followiug : Awareness on reading, motivation for reading, reading method, activity after reading, number of books collected, reading guidance, how to obtain books to read, monthly reading volume, and reading tendency. 2) Also difference by grade was observed in respcet of the following ; Activity after reading, reading guidance, monthly reading volume and reading tendency. The following conclusions have been made based on the results of the survey: 1) The children's attitude toward reading and reading method may be considered favorable while reading environment is not satisfactory yet. Especially, reading environment of school children in medium cities and rural communities is worse than that of large cities. 2) No difference by sex was observed in respect of attitudes toward reading, reading method, reading environment and reading volume while difference by sex was observed in respect of reading tendency. The followings are recommended based on the results of survey: 1) To establish and carry out a comprehensive program for the improvement of reading environment of the school children in medium cities and rural communities. 2) To improve and substantiate school library facilities and design a proper guidance program to have children utilize school library to the maximum extent. 3) To contemplate on the consolidated measures for reading behavior survey.

        사서교사의 역할에 대한 인식연구

        The school library plays very important and central role for the fullfillment of educational objective in the process of implementing the school curriculum. And the media specialist known as teacher-librarian is. primarily responsible for the successful operation and effective management of the media center. It is true that effectiveness of the school library depends greatly on the cooperative coordination among teacher-librarian, teacher and principal in addition to the strong support and effective supervision of school district authority, specifically, supervisor of school library program. The successful program therefore is influenced by their perception of the teacher-librarian's role. The purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher-librarian's. educational role perceived by teacher-librarian, teacher, principal and school district supervisor. A standard task model describing both the management and educational functions and expectations of teacher-librarian was proposed after studying the relevant current standards of four countries. Serveral hypotheses were made regarding role perception and a survey instrument was designed based on this proposed task model and the results of the literature review to validate the hypotheses. The questionnaires were mailed out and the returned questionaires were analyzed by SPSS computer routine. The major findings are summarized as follows: 1) There was difference of the role perception among teacher-librarian, teacher, principal and district supervisor at the significance level of p<0.001 for both management and educational functions of teacher­librarian. The mean score of the teacher-librarian was highest among four groups and the score for the educational function tasks were lower than that of management function tasks. 2) The positive correlation exists at the significance level of p<0.001 between the role perception and the attitude toward changing social trends such as acceptance of new technology, need for better communication and information. 3) The positive correlation exists at the significance level of p<0.001 between the role perception and the view on the curriculum and teaching method.

        Lactobacillus plantarum P1201에 의한 콩 품종별 콩-분말 두유 발효 과정에서의 식물성 에스트로젠 함량과 항산화 활성의 변화

        본 연구는 노란콩 8품종(새단백, 대원, 대풍, 늘찬, 태광, 선유, 황금, 및 대망)에 대해 Lactobacillus plantarum P1201 균주를 이용하여 콩-분말 두유 발효 중 식물성 에스트로겐 및 항산화 활성 변화를 측정하였다. 그 결과, 발효가 진행되는 동안 isoflavone-glycoside는 감소하였고, total phenolic 및 isoflavoneaglycone 함량과 DPPH와 ABTS 라디칼 소거활성 및 FRAP 환원력은 증가하였다. 특히 대풍콩-분말 두유는 발효 60시간 후 daidzein, glycitein, 및 genistein 함량이 각각 177.92, 20.64, 및 $106.14{\mu}g/g$으로 다른 콩 품종들보다 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며 또한 대풍콩-분말 두유는 발효 후 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성은 48.54%, ABTS 라디칼 소거활성은 99.25% 및 FRAP 환원력은 0.84로 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서 대풍콩-분말 두유는 aglycone 함량이 높고 우수한 항산화 활성을 나타내므로 기능성 식품 개발에 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. This study evaluated the changes of phytoestrogen contents and antioxidant activities of soybean-powder milk (SPM) prepared from yellow soybean during fermentation with Lactobacillus plantarum P1201. In consequence, the levels of total phenolic and isoflavone-aglycone contents, ABTS and DPPH radical-scavenging activities, and FRAP assay values increased, while isoflavone-glycoside contents decreased during fermentation. The highest levels of daidzein, glycitein, and genistein were present in the Daepung SPM at concentrations of 177.92, 20.64, and $106.14{\mu}g/g$, respectively after 60 h of fermentation. Moreover, Daepung SPM showed the highest DPPH radical-scavenging activity of 48.54%, an ABTS radical-scavenging activity of 99.25%, and a FRAP assay value of 0.84 at the end of fermentation. The fermented Daepung SPM possessed highest isoflavone aglycone contents and antioxidant activities, which can be utilized for the development of functional foods.

        Successful operation of children's program of the public library depends largely on th ability and competency of children's librarian. This study reviews the importance of competent children's librarianship and relative rating of competencies involved. A survey was made to determine the difference of perception level on the competencies of children's librarians byhu professional groups namely professors and librarians regarding some 29 competencies. Based on this survey study, the following conclusions are made: 1) Although both groups perceived the importance of competencies, professor group's Likert scale average was higher compared to librarian groups(3.274 vs 2.686) 2) 29 competencies were subgrouped into 6 competency areas namely. Material, Program, user, Environment, Professional Activity and Management. Professors group outscored the librarians group in all 6 areas. Both groups perceived program area to b the most important of the 6 competency areas.
