Sedum ussuriense Kom. (Crassulaceae) is a succulent perennial herb localized to rocky valleys in southeastern Korea. Although it is an important natural resource with high economic value as an ornamental plant,it is currently endangered because of land-use changes and illegal exploitation. To initiate a proper conservation plan,we selected four populations (Juwang, Okgye, Jeolgol, and Haok) around Mt. Juwang, characterized their phenotypic traits, and evaluated patterns of random amplified polymorphic DNA variation. Despite its small population size,Okgye had the greatest proportion of flowering plants and higher seed production than from the other populations. This population also harbored the greatest genetic diversity. However, recent fragmentation between Okgye and Haok appeared to cause genetic divergence, leading to close genetic relationships of Okgye to Juwang vs. Haok to Jeolgol. In the long term, this raises concerns about the loss of genetic variation and the possibility of a demographic crash in those fragmented populations. Because our results indicated a high degree of divergence among populations,we suggest that conservation activities should focus on maintaining and propagating all populations throughout this species’ range.
수리온 MEP 개발사례 및 소형무장헬기 개발을 위한 제언

KUH(한국형 다목적 헬기)의 MEP(임무탑재장비) 개발을 소개하고 개발과정에서 발생했던 크고 작은 문제점들과 극복했던 사례들을 소개하고 개발이 진행될 LAH(경무장헬기) 개발에 참고사항을 제시하였다. 임무탑재장비 소개는 4개 계통별 및 전체를 통합한 내용을 주요성능별로 간략히 소개하였다. 교훈사례는 사업수행 중 긍정적으로 잘 대처했던 사항과 개발 및 시험과정 중 발생했던 문제점을 분석하고 극복했던 사례를 소개하였다. 발전방향은 LAH 개발에 참고가 될 사항을 종합적으로 제시하였다. The R&D project of KUH(Korean Utility Helicopter) MEP(Mission Equipment Package) was introduced and the case study for the problems occurred during R&D process was presented. Finally, the references for LAH were suggested. The introdutction of KUH MEP contains briefly 4 functional parts and the system integration. The case studies introduce the cases treated and overcome well the problems occurred during the period. The future directions were suggested for LAH R&D.

동력패러글라이더는 엔진과 프로펠러 그리고 패러글라이더(Para-Glider, 낙하산과 행글라이더 합성어) 특성을 결합하여 하늘을 날 수 있도록 만든 것으로, 낙하산의 안정성, 분해조립운반의 용이성과, 행글라이더의 활공성, 속도성의 장점이 있으며, 좁은 평지에서도 이착륙이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 장시간 체공과 비닉성 확보가 가능하며, GPS 유도 및 선도기 추적기법을 이용한 자율군집 비행으로 재난고립지역 긴급구호, 화물인원 운송, 통신중계, 감시정찰 등이 가능한 다목적 동력패러글라이더 유무인기 운용방안을 제시하였다. Powered Para-Glider is a flying vehicle with combination of the engine, propeller and para-glider (parachute & hang-glider). It has a stability, easiness of disassembly/assembly/carry like a parachute, also has a glide capability and horizontal velocity as a hang glider to take-off landing on the narrow place. This paper shows a operation methods of unmanned/manned multi-purpose powered para-glider which can conduct a emergency aid for a disaster/isolation area, the personnel/cargo transportation, communication/rebroadcast and watch/reconnaissance based on self-control formation flight using GPS guidance and pathfinder chasing technology with a long endurance, secrecy.
