10세 미만아 마취의 임상적 고찰 : 과거 10년간 Past 10 years

The authors analyzed statistically 1309 cases of pediatric anesthesia (under 10 years old) from January, 1967 to December, 1976 at the central operating theatre, Busan National University Hospital and the result were as follows. 1. 264 cases (20.2%) were under 1 year old, the most in group, and 55 cases (4.2%) were 1 years old as the least. 2. Sexual distribution was 853 males (62.5%) and 456 females (34.8%). 3. Anesthesias for the operations of general surgery were the most as 444 cases (33.9%). 4. Elective surgeries were 811 cases (62.0%) and the remainder were emergency operations (498 cases, 38.0%). 5. The techniques of anesthesia were 577 cases (44.1%) of infantile circle system with endotracheal intubation and 489 cases (37.4%) of non-rebreathing system. 6. The main anesthetics were 694 cases (53.0%) of halothane and 571 cases (43.6%) of ether. 7. Intra and postoperative death cases were 58 cases (4.4%) and of these, 27 cases (2.1%) were under-1 year old.

In this paper, we discuss the scale of subjective speech quality measurement over VoIP(Voice over IP) network which is a component of broadband networks. Objective parameters of multimedia services like PSNR or jitter can easily measured and defined, but these factors are not easily meet the user's perceptual recognition. We suggest the speech quality measurement scale through the subjective measurement for end-to-end speech quality composed of sender-side quality, transmission quality, receiver-side quality, which provide the degree of correctness of representation of speaker, the degree of impairment caused by various factors, the degree of recognition of processed speech, respectively. Also, we examined the proposed method and verify it's availability. 본 논문은 초고속 인터넷을 이용한 음성전송 방식인 VoIP(Voice over IP) 서비스에서의 음질의 주관적 평가에 관한 연구이다. PSNR이나 지터 갊은 멀티미디어 서비스의 객관적 파라미터는 명료히 정의되어 있고 쉽게 측정되나, 그것이 이용자의 지각적 인지도와는 일치하지 않는다. 본 연구에서는 송화자 내용 발생과정에 있어서 어느 정도 완전히 표현되었는가를 나타내는 송화 품질과 음성이 전송계를 통해 수화자에게 전달되는 과정에서 왜곡이나 잡음 등의 방해요인에 의해 열화 되는 정도를 나타내는 전송 품질, 그리고 수화자가 청각에서 신호처리 과정을 거친 송화자의 내용을 어느 정도 이해할 수 있는지를 나타내는 수화 품질에 대한 주관적 평가법과 그 척도를 제시한다. 또한 제안된 방법으로 실험하여 그 유효성을 검증한다.

The following results were obtained from the studies of 51 cases receiving continuous spinal anesthesia at the central operating theatre of Busan National University Hospital from January, 1976 to December, 1976. 1. 42 cases (82.4%) were between the fourth and sixth decades. 2. During anesthesia, 12 cases(23.5%) of hypotension, 2 cases(3.9%) of respiratory difficulty and 5 cases (9.8%) of nausea and vomiting were observed. 3. After anesthesia, we observed 7 cases(13.7%) of headache, 3 cases (5.9%) of backache and 1 case (2.0%) of voiding difficulty. 4. No neurologic sequelae were observed.

색도정보와 Mean-Gray 모폴로지 연산을 이용한 컬러영상에서의 얼굴특징점 검출

In detecting human faces in color images, additional geometric computation is often necessary for validating the face-candidate regions having various forms. In this paper, we propose a method that detects the facial features using chrominance components of color which do not affected by face occlusion and orientation. The proposed algorithm uses the property that the Cb and Cr components have consistent differences around the facial features, especially eye-area. We designed the Mean-Gray Morphology operator to emphasize the feature areas in the eye-map image which generated by basic chrominance differences. Experimental results show that this method can detect the facial features under various face candidate regions effectively. 얼굴검출 작업에서 다양한 형태를 가지는 후보영역을 정사하기 위한 기하학적 연산과정이 수반된다. 본 논문에서는 컬러영상에서 색도 분포 특성을 이용함으로써 얼굴가림과 방향에 영향을 받지 않고 얼굴 유효특징점을 검출할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 얼굴의 특징점 주변에서 Cb와 Cr이 일관적인 색도차를 가진다는 점에 착안한 것으로써, 기본 색도차 영상인 Eye맵 마스크에서 특징점을 효과적으로 강조시킬 수 있는 평균-그레이 모폴로지 연산을 수행한다. 실험을 통해, 제안한 방법이 가변적 형태의 후보영역에 대해서도 강인하게 얼굴의 유효특징점을 검출할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

소아 횡격막 탈장증의 전신마취 : 5 례 보고 Report of Five Cases

The authors have experienced five cases of general anesthesia for repair of diaphragmatic hernia in children, and following results were obtained. Whether it was congenital or traumatic in origin, prompt reduction and repair is desirable if accurate diagnosis was made and patients condition was acceptable, for increased postoperative survival rate and prevention of possible complications. When the intermittent positive pressure breathing was nedded during preoperative, intraop- erative or postoperative period, the greatest concern of anesthetist is that excessive positive ventilation should be avoid. The most important factors in this situation probably are the use of chest drainage, daily Roentgen-ray examination, and better use of postoperative ventilatory assistance, for prevention of postoperative atelectasis and other pulmonary complications.
