Numerical analysis is conducted to design the high temperature heat exchanger of Stirling engine by using the commercial CFD solver FLUENT. The fin-tube type of heat exchanger is designed, considering the type of engine which is β configuration. To find the optimum design of heat exchanger numerical calculation is conducted by changing the shape, number and material of fin, shape of working fluid channel, etc in three-dimensional combustion field. Adjusted one-way constant velocity is used as the representative velocity of oscillating flow. The optimum design of heat exchanger considering the heat transfer capability is suggested by using the calculation results.

The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) that generates electric power by using low temperature heat source is developed and experimental study is conducted. The radial turbine and high speed DC generator are designed and developed in this study also. As a working fluid R245fa is adopted, considering operation condition of cycle and environmental friendly characteristic. Experiments to analyze the operation characteristics for the designed ORC are conducted. The maximum cycle, turbine efficiencies and power output are shown to be 5.22%, 78.7% and 32.8㎾ respectively. The factors that influence on the efficiency of the ORC are analyzed and discussed.
하악전돌증 환자에 있어서 악교정수술 전후의 하악각 변화에 관한 임상적 연구

The main goal of the surgical treatment of maxillofacial deformity is improved esthetic appearance and masticatory function. Recently, the purpose of orthognathic surgery has been focused on esthetic improvement of the patients. The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in gonial angle to orthognathic surgery. For this study 30 patients were randomly selected. All patients with mandibular prognathism were operated upon with bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy and mandibular setback. The patients were cephalmetric lateral radiographs for 1 hear. Lateral cephalmetric radiographs taken preoperatively, over 6-months and 1 year follow up were traced and analysed. The following conclusions were reached. : 1. During following up period for 1 year, the change of gonial angle after orthognathic surgery was decreased, except 3 cases. The mean gonial angle change was decreased from 128.6°(±4.83) to 123.4°(±5.52) in female(p<0.05). 2. During follow up period for 1 year, the mean gonial angle was decreased after orthognathic surgery from 129.7°(±6.47) to 123.3°(±7.52), in all male patients(p<0.05). 3. The mean gonial angle changes after orthognathic surgery was about 5.2°in female and 5.4°in male. There was less statistical significance between male and female. 4. The ratio of mandibular setback amount from 6mm to 15mm was 83.3%, and from 1mm to 5mm was 10%.

Experiments to analyze the operation characteristics for the designed ORC system are conducted. Pressure drop phenomenon is found in condenser which is plate type heat exchanger. Study to solve pressure drop and increase cycle efficiency is conducted.

As a working fluid R245fa is adopted, considering operation condition of cycle and environmental feasibility. Experiments to analyze the operation characteristics for the designed ORC system are conducted. The maximum thermal (cycle) efficiency is shown to be 5.2%. And the efficiency of the developed radial turbine is shown to be more than 80%. The factors that influence on the efficiency of the developed ORC system are analyzed and discussed.

As a combustion model Methan-air-2step is used. And radiative heat transfer is also analyzed by using the discrete ordinates model. Adjusted one-way constant velocity is used as the representative velocity of oscillating flow. The optimal design of heat exchanger considering the heat transfer capability is suggested by using the calculation results.

IOIO (Infraorbital-Intraoral) 절개선을 이용한 상악골 절제술

Surgical resection of tumors in the maxillofacial region sometimes results in extended defects of soft and hard tissue that frequently causes aesthetic, functional and especially mental damages. It is essential for patients with such facial defects to reduce the scar and maxillofacial asymmetry. To attain esthetic facial appearance after hemimaxillectomy, we devise a new design, so called 'IOIO Incision' (InfraOrbital-IntraOral incision). The new approach is established on infraorbital region to expose maxillofacial skeleton in aspect of face. And the other incision is designed on intraoral region. The IOIO incision provide excellent aesthetic result after hemimaxillectomy, because of reduced minimal facial scar contraction. Maxillofacial surgeons are used to designing Weber-Fergusson incision in resection of maxillofacial tumors, but disadvantages of the incision were large scar and asymmetry of face. To improve theses problem, we attempted IOIO Incision.. For correct osteotomy of posterolateral wall of maxillary sinus, 1. Fenestra formation on zygomatic body for easily access of reciprocating saw to posterolateral wall of maxillary sinus. 2. To achieve better visual field in posterolateral aspect of maxilla, fat tissue is removed from infratemporal fossa. This new, versatile procedure can be used for benign and malignant lesions of the maxillary area. We introduce cases with review of literatures.
