In this paper, we evaluated the postural balance of patients with pelvic asymmetry in sitting. 6 subjects which were diagnosed pelvic asymmetry with leg length discrepancy on left and right side participated in this study. We assessed the angle variation using measurement system based on accelerometer and muscle activity of external oblique, thoracic erector spinae, lumbar erector spinae, and lumbar multifidus in the anterior-posterior and left-right direction. The results show that patients with pelvic asymmetry has asymmetric sitting posture with imbalance in trunk muscles. Results from this study can be used to provide useful information about patients with pelvic asymmetry in rehabilitation medicine.

This study was tried to analyze the diagnosis of patients with flat foot and high-arch foot by associate modeling that was one of data mining analysis method and find out previous disease or complication of patients with flat foot and high-arch foot. Data collecting was to build database of patients for collecting about 2630 feet of left and right side in 1310 peoples who visited C foot clinic center located in D city. We extracted diagnosis information of patient who was diagnosed in more one disease including flat foot and high-arch foot among whole diagnosis data. The data have been excluded that diagnosis of one side foot with flat foot and high arch foot were diagnosed only including personal information as name and ID number. Associated modeling in Clementine 11.1 program was used to analyze diagnosis of patients data. This result could be used as a basic data to make secondary foot disease prevention program and to prevent complication of flat foot and high-arch foot.
공압운동기기의 하지 슬관절 운동 시 재활운동 효과의 유효성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 공압 액추에이터를 이용하여 보다 안전하고 편리하게 사용자가 원하는 맞춤형 운동 프로그램을 선택할 수 있는 공압용 슬관절 운동시스템을 개발하였고, 재활운동 시 운동효과에 대한 유효성을 검증하고자 한다. 피험자는 평소 운동을 주 1회 이하로 실시하며 슬관절 신전과 굴곡에 이상이 없는 대학생 수준의 20대 남녀 10명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실험방법은 기존의 유압식 슬관절 운동장비와 개발된 운동 시스템을 이용하여 하루 12회씩 3세트의 슬관절 신전 및 굴곡운동을 실시하고, 주 3회 실시하며 실험은 총 4주간 반복되었다. 운동부하 프로그램은 유압식의 수동형 운동부하와 본 연구에서 개발된 시스템의 능동형 운동부하로 나누어 제공하였다. 운동부하 프로그램에 따른 실시간 근육활성 패턴과 운동 전 후 근육활성도를 비교함으로써 재활운동에 대한 운동효과를 검증하였다. 실험결과 수동형 운동부하보다 능동형 운동부하에 보다 높은 근육활성도를 이끌어 냈으며 운동 4주 후 더 큰 근력증진 효과를 나타냈다. 장비 중심의 운동부하 보다 사용자 중심의 운동부하가 더 효과적으로 근력을 증진할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 향후 재활환자나 노약자들에게 안전하고 효율적인 재활운동프로그램으로 활용될 것이며 또한 재활장비에 적용되어 재활치료관련 종사자들에게 보다 쉽고 편리한 재활운동처방이 가능할 것이라 사료된다. Our study is to verify validation of exercise effect that developing exercise and rehabilitation instrument using pneumatic actuators available rehabilitation and healthcare, while at the same time safer and more convenient for the user to select the desired exercise. Shares subject to the usual exercise is conducted in less than a week in the knee extension and flexion at the undergraduate level there is no more than 10 of the 20 patients were female. Subject performed knee exercise 3 set a day with 12times a set using fluid type exercise instrument and pneumatic exercise instrument that build in this study. Experiment has progressed in 4-weeks with 3-days a week. Our exercise load consist of two type. One is active exercise load with developed instrument in our study and the other one is passive exercise load with fluid instrument. Exercise program based on real-time muscle activation patterns and muscle activity before and after exercise by comparing the effects of exercise for rehabilitation has been verified. The results showed that muscular activity is higher in active exercise load than passive load, and improvement of muscle strength more increased too. Equipment more user-centered exercise more effectively exercise may enhance muscle strength was found. This study can adapt rehabilitation program and exercise for patient and weaker. Also our system can provide easily and convenient prescription of rehabilitation for expert related rehabilitation.

Ubiquitous healthcare (U-healthcare) system is one of potential applications of embedded system. Conventional U-healthcare systems are used in health monitoring or chronic disease care based on measuring and transmission of various vital signs. However, future U-healthcare system can be of benefit to more people such as stroke patients which have limited activity by providing them proper medical care as well as continuous monitoring. Recently, an electric brain stimulation treatments have been found to be a better way compared to conventional ones and many are interested in using the method toward the treatment of stroke. In this study, we proposed a remote medical treatment system using ZigBee-based wireless electric brain stimulator that can help them to get a treatment without visiting their doctors. The developed remote medical treatment system connects the doctors to the brain stimulator implanted in the patients via the internet and ZigBee communication built in the brain stimulator. Also, the system receive personal information of the connected patients and cumulate the total records of electric stimulation therapy in a database. Doctors can easily access the information for better treatment planning with the help of graphical visualization tools and management software. The developed remote medical treatment system can extend their coverage to outdoors being networked with hand-held devices through ZigBee.
