영어의 어두 sC와 sCr 자음군에 대한 한국인들과 영어원어민들의 발화 연구
윤영도 ( Yung Do Yun ) 한국현대영어영문학회 2015 현대영어영문학 Vol.59 No.2
American English and Korean speakers produced English words starting with sC and sCr consonant clusters. I compared frication noise durations of /s/ between the two groups, and found that the former group produced significantly longer /s/ than the latter group. I also compared relative maximum intensities of /s/ with the following vowel or approximant, and found that the former group’s intensity was higher than that of the latter group. These findings indicate that the /s/ produced by American English speakers is long and loud, and Koreans cannot produce it with those acoustic characteristics. (Dongguk University-Seoul)
조직의 보상이 호텔 프론트 데스크 종사원의 개인 창의성과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향
윤영일 ( Yeun Gil Yoon ),조문식 ( Moon Sik Cho ) 관광경영학회 2012 관광경영연구 Vol.51 No.-
The purpose of this study was examining structural relationships between organizational reward and front desk employee`s individual creativity and between organizational reward and organizational commitment. Based on literature review, two sub-dimensions of organizational rewards were derived: intrinsic reward and extrinsic reward. The existing theoretical background proposes a mediating concept between organizational reward and front desk employee`s organizational commitment. Based on the theoretical causal relationships between the constructs proposed, a conceptual model was proposed. The model was tested using the data collected from 183 hotel front desk employees. Data analysis indicates that two dimensions of organizational reward (intrinsic reward and extrinsic reward) helps to enhance front desk employee`s individual creativity and his(or her) creativity leads to increase his(or her) organizational commitment. Based on data analysis, theoretical/managerial implications were discussed.

윤영일(Yoon, Yeong-Il),조문식(Cho, Moon-Sik) 대한관광경영학회 2014 觀光硏究 Vol.29 No.2
Vol.22 No.9
In most of the developing countries in Africa, there is a high demand for drinking water because of the recent rapid economic growth, urbanization, and population increase, which also resulted in serious environmental pollution and a high incidence of diseases affecting public health. Safe access to water is closely related to a nation’s welfare and is also used as an important indicator to see the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Korea has been supporting various African official development assistance projects by designating it as a priority partner. The purpose of this support is to improve the environment of the water circulation such as water and sewerage treatment, but it is difficult to establish specific strategies due to the lack of information on the local infrastructure status, pollution source, wastewater, and pollution loads. In this paper, based on research reports and related data on securing and managing water in Africa that are recently conducted or investigated, the current state of the environmental infrastructure and pollution was analyzed, and strategies for improving the water environment in Africa were presented. This study aims to contribute by providing information for Korean water and sewage companies to start relevant businesses in Africa by analyzing the current status, and problems of water pollution and treatment facilities in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This paper investigates two most common pronunciation learning methods. One is correction by a native speaker of English and the other is self-correction using the words recorded by a native speaker of English. The research is focused on English word-initial voiced stops and word durations. Two groups of Korean speakers participated in controlled experiments. One group self-corrected their pronunciations and the other was corrected by the native speaker of English. The results from the experiments showed that neither of the learning methods did not show statistically significant effects on the word-initial voiced stops, but both methods showed statistically significant effects on the word durations. The experiments also showed that phonological structure of Korean affects Koreans' pronunciation of English words.
