Because of the Hallyu(Korean wave) blowing in the recent in Taiwan, Taiwanese tourists traveling to South Korea is becoming more and more. At the same time because of the drama produced in Taiwan so called ‘Hwaryu(華流)’ is gradually becoming popular in Korea fashion culture, The number of Korean tourists visiting Taiwan this occasion has grown noticeably. The fashion culture between the Taiwan-Korea two countries, Yet, there is no empirical data that analysis clearly how many affect for tourists between the two countries Trend, the causal relation is not clear, but, In general, the tourism industry and the fashion culture is being inferred that there is a correlation with each other. Thus, Taiwan and Korea take affect each other, doing mutual competition and promote the tourism industry of their own country. If so, How do Taiwan and Korean develop tourism routes for the future? In order to do this, to identify the current status of the tourism industry in Taiwan and Korea should be priority. then we can prospect the tourism development route for these two countries based on this data. This means, in order to nurture and develop the tourism industry in their country in the future. relationship between two countries through a more competitive form of mutual development must be prepared. Therefore, this study investigated the tourism policy and status of Korea and Taiwan, and analyzed the commutual visitors trends and features of Korean, Taiwan. to both Korea and Taiwan, tourism industry could develope country s economy and improve their quality of life, tourism industry should be the dynamic sectors for it. The international tourism income can be increased through tourism between two countries. also, it can activate international relations. In addition, From past to present Korea and Taiwan as the East Asian countries have been close relationship historically and culturally, Hallyu in Taiwan or Hwaryu in Korea, it may be some difference in the intensity, but, more and more, It is expected to have a significant impact on the tourism exchange of the these two nations. 본고에서는 최근 몇 년간 양국의 관광산업 발전현황에 대해서 파악한 후 향후 타이완과 한국의 관광산업 발전노선에 대해 전망하고자 한다. 타이완의 관광정책은 국내외 환경변화에 따라 연도별로 변화를 달리하는 단계적인 정책을 추구하고 있다. 반면에 한국은 중앙에서 방안을 제정하고 시행하는 구조로 정부가 바뀌어도 전체적으로 일관성을 유지하는 정책을 펼치고 있다. 타이완과 한국 방문객 동향을 살펴보면 양국 모두 관광목적이 가장 높으며, 여성여행객 수가 많았다. 또한 상호 간의 방문객 수는 해마다 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 한국과 타이완은 과거부터 현재까지 역사적으로나 문화적으로 밀접한 관계를 맺어오고 있다. 또한 타이완 내 한류열풍과 한국 내 화류열풍은 그 강도에 있어서는 약간의 차이가 있겠으나 양국 국민의 관광교류에도 영향을 끼치는 것을 알 수 있다. 결론적으로 양국의 관광 정책은 서로 다르나 자국의 관광산업 유치와 발전에 다각도로 노력하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 양국 모두의 노력에 힘입어 향후에도 타이완과 한국 간의 상호 방문객 수는 계속 상승할 것으로 예측되며 문화 산업 교류 역시 빈번해질 것으로 보여진다. 이에 앞으로 양국이 상호 발전할 수 있는 협력체제를 갖추고 이를 바탕으로 양국의 문화 관광산업을 더 발전시켜 나가기를 기대해 본다.

Currently, the popularity of Korean Wave (Hallyu) in Taiwan is actively promoting social, cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries. Reflecting these social phenomena, there are increasing numbers of people who need Korean talent in each field in Taiwan recently.At this point, it is necessary to cultivate Korean talents that will play an important role as bridgeheads in economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries, and it is essential to enhance national competitiveness. It should be noted that the Korean Wave in Taiwan is not a temporary phenomenon but has been steadily continuing from past to present and as the time passes, the derivatives industry related to Korean Wave develops more diversely. Although it is difficult to accurately determine the depth and direction of the impact of this phenomenon on Taiwan society in the future, If we look at the current situation, we believe that the demand for the interpretation and translation market is likely to increase day by day mainly driven by the industry. The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of indigenization education in order to improve Korean interpretation and translation ability for Korean learners in Taiwan in the future. For this purpose, I examined the current status of Korean language education, and Korean interpretation, translation education in Taiwan with the Korean Wave.

Korean education centers are currently making progress in Korean language education for foreigners. In addition, the effect of the Korean Wave among the Asian countries is continuously improving the state of the Korean language today. In Korea, lots of academic research is in progress trying to find efficient ways of teaching Korean to foreigners. Besides, outside of Korea, research on Korean language education keeps on developing. Influenced by the Korean Wave, Taiwan is interest in the Korean language has increased, and at the same time it has expanded Korean language education. Since the late 1990`s, when the Korean Wave began, the scope of Korean language education in Taiwan has been enlarged exclusively. However, research on Korean language education overseas remains at basic level. For further development of the Korean language education overseas, a profound research for its educational status is essential. The field of Korean Studies has a long history in Taiwan, and Korean language education in Taiwan has always been an integral part and has been discussed within the broader framework of Korean Studies. The goal of this research is to focus on Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language(TKFL), from the broader perspective of Korean Studies in Taiwan. In order to provide a many sided description of the TKFL in Taiwan today, the author does the following research. First, he provides a brief description of the Korean education history in Taiwan. Second, he investigated the present situation in the field of TKFL in institutions of all kinds of education, including the teaching approach, and the opportunities for employment for graduates. The author pays particular attention to the Korean teacher, students, curriculums and the rate of employment for graduates in Taiwan. He especially focuses on the development, both of the participants in the Test Of Proficiency In Korean (TOPIK) in Taiwan, and that of students studying abroad in Korea. Third, he observes the changes in Korean inbound tourist services, and translation and interpretation which is directly connected with TKFL. He also defines the challenges to TKFL in contemporary Taiwan. In the conclusion, some possible solutions to the defined challenges are offered. Therefore, in addition to examining the present progress of establishing Korean study in Taiwan, we wish to prepare the foundation to provide foreigners with a qualified Korean language education.
