        현대 경영환경의 특징에 따른 지혜 정의 분류와 지혜경영 제안

        Purpose - The characteristics of the modern management environment in Korea clearly involve the limitations of knowledge management, globalization, changes in industrial structures, polarization of the economy, consumption, and education, and the demand for creative management. To achieve a continuous competitive advantage for individuals as well as organizations, Wisdom Management can be said to be a paradigm for the current environment. The Research is an alternative to environmental management in the early study of the need to conceptualize the theoretical approach to wisdom management. In other words, it presents a new management paradigm for a business environment of uncertainty and unpredictability. Furthermore, it aims to propose Wisdom Management as an alternative in the modern management environment as well as a topic of discourse. Its purpose is to provide basic knowledge to people who study and practice in this field to strengthen the competitiveness of individuals and companies. Research design, data, and methodology - This paper first provides six characteristics of the current management environment at home and abroad. It then attempts to emphasize the necessity of wisdom based on such characteristics by classifying wisdom according to recent management study research. This allows the derivation of definitions of wisdom management, suggesting its components and properties. Results - The six characteristics of the modern business environment are: 1) limits of knowledge, 2) intensifying globalizedcompetition, 3) changes in industry structure - IoT (Internet of all Things) trend, 4) serious polarization and social unrest diffusion, 5) personal and organizational competitiveness creativity requirements, and 6) domestic special national and social situations. Therefore, accordingly, wisdom can be defined and classified as: wisdom that offers potential integration beyond knowledge, practicing and maintaining knowledge wisdom as an efficient strategy for an organization wisdom as a decision-making process that addresses ambivalence wisdom as the pursuit of common goods based on ethics; and, wisdom as creativity that involves intuition and insight. This paper attempts to define Wisdom Management in accordance with these definitions of wisdom. Wisdom Management is a management system that is awareof the current environment given in the multidimensional perspective, achieves the efficiency of the organization and the goals of common good through an uncertain decision-making process, based on the organization of individual and organizational knowledge, and the internal experiences and resources. Wisdom Management components include human beings, virtue, knowledge, creativity, and ambivalent thinking. Its properties include intentionality, self-destructiveness, creative and ethical reflexivity, complexity, insight, unpredictability, ambivalence, and wholeness. Conclusions - Since all organizations face the limitations of their environment, crises, and opportunities, applying wisdom in management to develop as Wisdom Management can be an inevitable alternative to the uncertainties of the management environment faced by modern society. The conceptualization of Wisdom Management forms a valuable context to further advance knowledge management theory into practice. It is also a cornerstone of strategic management and can provide insight into its potential for success and implementation.

        ‘경영학에서의 지혜(Managerial Wisdom)’ 연구에 대한 탐색적 고찰

        [Purpose] In terms of present management, although there is material foundation created from industrialization and accumulated principles on management but its actual purpose is disappearing. Therefore, we should recognize not only the poor management performance from the external side but also lack of internal spirit or degree of damage contained in the management as an organic body to diagnose and evaluate today’s management. In regards to this, this research proposes ‘managerial wisdom’ [Methodology] To this end, 43 research paper were published in the management journal. The scientific validity of wisdom in business administration was demonstrated, the wisdom in management was conceptualized, and the research trends and areas of wisdom in magement were analyzed. [Finding] First, the scientific validity of the managerial wisdom study was verified by the basis of evolutionary analysis and cultural theory. Second, managerial wisdom conceptualized as the ability of the management to recognize and reflect ignorance about meta knowledge to link existing management knowledge to the management field and strategic management to achieve both the profit pursuit of companies and value realization of members for common good. Third, there were three trends in the study of wisdom in business administration and fourth, it was analyzed that wisdom has been studied in various fields such as decision making, ethics management, management education, leadership, organizational learning, and entrepreneurship. [Implications] Through this study, it introduces wisdom as a new strategic resource for managerial studies, and it will be an attempt to make academic practice of the purpose of management that have been damaged or overlooked in the nature of business. [연구목적] 현시대의 경영은 산업화로 일궈온 물질적 기반과 누적된 경영이론에도 불구하고 그 자체목적을 상실해 가고 있다. 따라서 현시대의 경영을 진단, 평가하기 위해 외양적으로 드러나는 경영성과의 부실과 유기체로서의 경영이 지닌 내적 정신의 결핍도 심각한 수준임을 인지해야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 경영의 존재론적 각성과 새로운 대안으로 ‘경영학에서의 지혜(managerial wisdom)’를 제안하면서 경영학에서 연구된 지혜에 대한 탐색적 고찰을 시도한다. [연구방법] 본 연구는 경영 학술지에 소개된 43편의 문헌을 대상으로 경영학에서의 지혜의 과학적 타당성을 논증하고, 경영학에서의 지혜를 개념화하며 경영학에서의 지혜연구의경향과 연구분야를 분석하였다. [연구결과] 첫째, 경영학문에서 지혜연구의 과학적 타당성은 진화해석학과 문화이론으로논증하였다. 둘째, 경영학에서의 지혜란, 경영인 스스로가 자신에 대한 무지를 인식 내지성찰하고, 기존 경영지식과 함께 고차지식을 경영현장에 접목시키는 능력이며 공공선을위해 기업의 이윤추구와 구성원의 가치실현을 달성하게 하는 전략경영의 능력으로 개념화되었다. 셋째, 경영학문에서의 지혜연구 경향은 3가지로 분석하였으며 넷째, 경영학문에서 지혜는 의사결정, 윤리경영, 경영교육, 리더십, 조직학습, 기업가정신 등 다양한 분야에서 연구되어져 온 것으로 분석되었다. [연구의 시사점] 본 연구는 경영의 실존적 목적에 대한 탐색을 촉구했다는 점에 그 의의가 크다. 시사점은 학문적으로는 지혜가 개인과 조직의 새로운 주요자원으로 활용될 수있는 토대를 만들고 실천적으로는, 실제 경영에서 현실효과를 생성하고 역동적으로 개인과 조직이 지속적인 경쟁우위를 차지할 수 있도록 하는 새로운 지식자원으로 체계화하는데에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점이다.

        Towards a Wisdom-Unleashing Company

        [Purpose]Despite today’s unprecedented level of abundance in information and knowledge to human kind and business corporations in particular, the harsh reality of questioning sustainability in natural environment, society, and human being itself mainly caused by business proposes a legitimate question of the right use of knowledge in management, i.e., wisdom. The purpose of this study is to present an integrated model of the Wisdom-Unleashing Company by integrating the two seminal researches on wisdom (Sternberg, 1998) and knowledge management (Nonaka and Takeuchi, 1995) respectively. In the model, the SECI processes are mediated by values toward the achievement of a common good through a balance of interests, timeline, and environmental contexts. [Methodology]This paper develops a theoretical framework in understanding of the three propositions toward the wisdom-unleashing company based on the thorough literature review primarily on wisdom and knowledge management and organizational learning along with emerging new perspectives in organization management such as stakeholder management, positive organizational scholarship, sustainable management, and conscious business. [Findings]The paper discusses the meaningful relevance of wisdom management to other emerging business perspectives such as stakeholder management paradigm and sustainable business. Finally this study suggests the implications of the newly emerging paradigm of the wisdom-unleashing company for the future of management education by introducing UN PRME(Principles for Responsible Management Education) movement. [Implications]The 21st century business environment, which is characterized as the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution technological breakthrough and Globalization 4.0, calls for the transformation in management paradigm from the knowledge-creating company to the wisdom-unleashing company. In today’s chaotic world, all of the stakeholders in management education such as professors, students, corporate leaders, NGO leaders, and public sector policy makers are all invited to this meaningful journey toward a wisdom-unleashing company.

      • 경영학에서의 지혜(Managerial Wisdom) 연구에 대한 고찰: 아리스토텔레스의 철학과 기독교를 중심으로

        경영은 단순히 지식과 정보를 넘어서 윤리, 리더십, 사회적 책임 등의 다양한 사회적 요구를 기업경영에 반영해야 하는데 경영학에서의 지혜는 이와 같은 요소를 포함하고 있다는 점에서 시대적 요구에 대한 하나의 대안이 될 수 있다. 지혜경영을 개념화하는데 있어서 철학과 기독교는 인간의 본질적 탐구를 통해 세상을 바라보는 관점을 제시하는 학문이기에 학문적인 근간을 제시하는 자료로서는 탁월한 타당성을 부여한다. 철학적 관점에서 이론적 지식이라 불리는 진리와 실천적 지식이라 불리는 활동은 모두 인과관계로 연관되어 있으며 이 둘 모두를 추구해야 행복에 이를 수 있다고 보며 이것이 바로 소크라테스나 아리스토텔레스가 말하는 중용을 실천하는 것이다. 철학적인 관점에서 지혜는 자기 자신에 대한 무지의 깨달음을 통해 공공선을 향한 도덕과 윤리의 실천으로써의 경영을 추구함을 알 수 있다는 개념은 지혜경영의 실천적 측면과 같은 방향성을 지닌다. 기독교의 지혜 역시 구약성경의 호크마를 통하여 인간이 자신의 삶과 하나님의 존재 사이에서 오랜 관찰과 실천을 통해서 얻어내는 것이 곧 지혜이며 이 말은 경영학에서 경영인 스스로가 자신에 대한 무지를 인식 내지 성찰하고 기존 경영지식과 함께 고차지식을 경영현장에 접목시키는 능력과 일맥상통한다. 바울이 말한 하나님과의 관계를 통해서 얻은 지혜로운 삶의 방식에 대하여 명확히 인식하고, 실천을 통해서 자신을 변화시키고 이러한 선한 영향력을 공동체 전체에 확산시켜 나가는 것을 지혜의 중요한 실천적인 요소로 받아들이는데 이는 경영학 관점에서 바라본 지혜의 특성 가운데 하나인 실천적 지식과 매우 유사한 개념이다. 본 연구는 경영인의 지혜를 철학과 기독교 관점에서 고찰하면서 경영인 개개인에게 실천적 지혜로 적용할 수 있도록 하는 것에 큰 의미를 갖는다고 말할 수 있다. Management goes beyond simply knowledge and information and must reflect various social demands such as ethics, leadership, and social responsibility in corporate management. Wisdom in management studies can be an alternative to the demands of the times in that it includes these elements. there is. In conceptualizing wisdom management, philosophy and Christianity are studies that present a perspective on the world through human exploration, so they provide excellent validity as materials that provide an academic foundation. From a philosophical perspective, the truth called theoretical knowledge and the activities called practical knowledge are all related in a causal relationship, and it is believed that happiness can be achieved only by pursuing both. This is the practice of the mean spoken by Socrates and Aristotle. From a philosophical perspective, the concept that wisdom can be known to pursue management as a practice of morality and ethics toward the public good through the realization of ignorance about oneself has the same direction as the practical aspect of wisdom management. Christian wisdom is also wisdom that humans obtain through long-term observation and practice between their own lives and the existence of God through Chokmah in the Old Testament. In business administration, this means that managers themselves recognize or reflect on their own ignorance. It is consistent with the ability to apply high-level knowledge along with existing management knowledge to the management field. It is accepted as an important practical element of wisdom to clearly recognize the wise way of life obtained through the relationship with God that Paul spoke of, to change oneself through practice, and to spread this good influence throughout the community. It is a very similar concept to practical knowledge, which is one of the characteristics of wisdom from a perspective. This study can be said to be of great significance in examining the wisdom of managers from a philosophical and Christian perspective and enabling it to be applied as practical wisdom to individual managers.

        경영학적 관점에서의 지혜(Wisdom)연구

        Such as globalization, changes in the industrial structure, the economy polarization facing modern society, Now can not sustain a competitive advantage of the existing knowledge and skills alone on an ongoing basis. Therefore, This study is to the concept and benefits of wisdom in International Management Administration and attention in recent research as an alternative. First, review the terms of wisdom in practice and ethics. And wisdom is also focusing on the terms of which refers to how to learn and effectiveness of individuals and organizations. As a result, the wise person is selected at a higher state of consciousness, choose to recognize self strength, internal locus of control selected from the point of view, the creation of a self-fulfilled insight, philosophy of life, keep embracing all that, you get what you want is a belief has the ability of decision-making by honesty ․logic․ration. A wise organization is the ability to run a new task, while the organization function effectively rely, to solve problems encountered, to derive the right to conduct an objective vision towards the long-term, understand the various surrounding tissue ability to recognize the needs of stakeholders and to increase the efficiency of the organization as a whole and lead the organization to creative management. Furthermore, this study suggests the wisdom in ethics and social responsibility towards the common good in the domestic management study. Implication is implications in terms highlighted that the main core of the important human wisdom is resources and strategic management of individuals and organizations and discussed with limitations and future research directions. 세계화와 산업구조의 변화, 경제의 양극화 등은 현대 사회가 안고 있는 특징이며 이제는 기존의 지식과 기술만으로는 지속적인 경쟁우위를 유지하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구는 이에 대한 대안으로 최근 해외 경영학 연구에서 주목하고 있는 지혜(wisdom)에 대한 개념과 효과를 고찰해 보고자 한다. 우선 지혜를 실천과 윤리라는 두 가지 측면에서 검토하며 개인과 조직에서의 지혜 습득방법과 효과를 알아본다. 결과적으로, 지혜로운 개인은 높은 의식상태에서의 선택, 자기인식에 의한 선택, 내적 통제소재 관점으로부터의 선택, 자기 충만적 통찰의 창조, 모든 것을 포용한 삶의 철학 유지, 원하는 것을 얻는다는 신념, 정직․논리․합리에 의한 의사결정능력을 지닌다. 또한 지혜로운 조직은 조직 내 기능들이 효율적으로 의존하면서 새로운 과업을 실행하는 능력, 조직의 문제 해결능력, 조직의 장기적 비전을 향해 객관적인 시각으로 옳은 행위를 도출해내는 능력, 조직을 둘러싼 다양한 이해관계자들의 요구를 인지하고 이끄는 능력, 전체로서의 조직의 효율을 증가시키는 능력, 조직을 창조경영으로 이끄는 능력을 가진다. 나아가 본 연구는 지혜연구가 다소 부족한 국내 경영학에 공공선을 지향하는 경영덕목으로 지혜를 제안하며 지혜야말로 개인과 조직의 중요한 인적자원이자 전략경영의 주요핵심이 됨을 시사하고자 한다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 바탕으로 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구방향이 논의되었다.

        ‘경영인의 지혜(Managerial Wisdom)’ 습득을 위한 SSWB 모델의 효과성 연구

        [연구목적] 본 연구는 SSWB 모델을 실제 경영학습현장에 대입하기 위해 개발된 프로그램을 소개하고 SSWB 모델의 효과성을 검증하고자 함을 목적으로 한다. [연구방법] 본 연구는 연구자가 근무하고 있는 서울소재 K와 S대학의 책임경영, 기업윤리, 그리고 리더십 수강생 110명을 대상으로 2019년 가을학기에 시행되었다. 측정 도구는 연구자가 개발한 ‘경영인의 지혜’ 이며 사전 사후 검사를 위해 SPSS 25를 활용하여 대응표본 t검증을 실시하였다. [연구결과] 본 연구를 통해 경영인의 지혜에 대한 7개의 하위요인인 고차지식, 자기성찰, 앎의 욕구, 영성 및 초월, 공감, 모순인지 모두 통계적으로 유의미하게 분석되었다. 즉, SSWB 모델을 활용한 프로그램은 경영인의 지혜 수준을 향상시키며 따라서 본 모델의 효과성은 입증되었다. [연구의 시사점] 본 연구는 지금까지의 지혜 학습에 관련된 연구가 관념적인 논증을 거치거나 인터뷰를 통한 질적 연구에 국한되어 있었던 데 반해 실제 양적인 측정을 시도하였다는 것에 큰 의미가 있다. 게다가, 국내 최초로 경영인의 지혜를 개념화하고 측정 도구와 프로그램을 개발한 연구자가 직접 프로그램의 효과성을 검증했다는 것에서도 그 의의를 찾아볼 수 있다. 이는 연구의 방향과 흐름의 일관됨은 물론 같은 주제의 맥락을 하나로 집결시켜 정확한 연구의 본질에 충실할 수 있었음을 의미한다. 또한, 본 연구의 결과로 볼 때 지혜 학습의 가능성이 타당화되었다. 이는 추상적으로 여겨졌던 지혜의 학문적 진입은 물론, 실천적 대입에 대한 촉발제가 되었다는 점에서도 큰 의의를 지닌다. [Purpose] The purpose of this study is to first introduce the program developed to apply the SSWB model to the actual management learning site. The purpose is to verify the effectiveness of the SSWB model through comparative analysis before and after implementation of the program. [Methodology] The study was conducted in the fall semester of 2019 on 110 students of responsible management, management ethics, and leadership at K and S universities in Seoul where researchers work. For this study, pretest-posttest was conducted using the ‘Management Wisdom’ measurement tool developed by the researcher, and the analysis and verification were conducted using SPSS 25. [Findings] As a result, all factors resulted in statistically significant results. In other words, the SSWB model can be interpreted as improving the level of management wisdom. Therefore, it has been verified that this is a useful program for learning the wisdom of managers. [Implications] This study is significant in that the research related to learning wisdom has been limited to qualitative research through interview or through ideological reasoning so far, while actual quantitative measurement has been attempted. Moreover, the significance of the program can be found in the fact that the researchers who have conceptualized the wisdom of managers and developed measurement tools and programs for the first time in Korea have personally verified the effectiveness of the program. This means that the direction and flow of research are consistent, as well as the context of the same subject can be brought together to be faithful to the exact nature of the study. Also, the possibility of learning wisdom has been justified. This is of great significance not only in the academic entry of wisdom, which was considered abstract, but also in the fact that it was the trigger for practical college entrance.

        ‘경영인의 지혜(Managerial Wisdom)’ 학습모델 개발 연구: 근거이론을 중심으로

        [Purpose]The purpose of this research is to develop a model for learning the managerial wisdom. [Methodology]This study used the grounded theory method among qualitative studies as a study for developing models. [Finding]The wisdom learning model we suggest was named as SSWB model. SSWB stands for ‘self-awareness’, ‘situational awareness’, ‘why awareness’, and ‘behavior change awareness’. This process can be expressed in 2X2 matrix such as reality(past to present) vs. ideal state(present to future), subjective(personal) vs. objective(environmental). In this study, the first quadrant refers to ‘self-awareness’, where ignorance and knowledge are made of a dyad. The second one is ‘situational awareness’, where the individual and the external environment constitute a set. The third one indicates ‘why awareness’, a combined set of the real state of present with the ideal goal to be attained in the future. Finally, the fourth quadrant represents ‘behavior change awareness’ which incorporates the practice toward value, needed to pursue in accordance with recognition of behavioral changes. Consequently, the wisdom learning process moves along with a cycle that enables individuals to create and build up new knowledge and experience. We suggest the criteria of this the whole process are ethical reflection of individuals and organizations. [Implications]First, this research was the first attempt in domestic business administration to study wise managers. Second, attempting a study to develop a model of how managerial wisdom can be learned has transformed abstract wisdom into a specific learning concept by embodied and visualizing the mechanisms for the resources of wisdom that anyone has. Third, based on this research, the foundation for the development of learning programs in each quadrant was established [연구목적]본 연구는 경영인의 지혜를 학습할 수 있음을 담보로 하는 모델을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 통해 현시대에 새로운 경영전략으로 대두되고 있는 경영인의 지혜를 개인과 조직의 성장에 도입하고 이를 실천할 수 있는 근거를 제시하고자 한다. 나아가 학문적으로는 경영인의 지혜에 대한 학습프로그램 개발연구의 촉발제가 되며 학습모형의 이론적 정립에 기여하고자 한다. [연구방법]본 연구는 모델을 개발하는 연구로서 질적연구 가운데 근거이론 방법을 활용하였다. [연구결과]지혜학습모델을 SSWB모델로 명명하였으며 이 과정은 현실(과거부터 현재)/이상(현재부터 미래), 주관적(개인)/객관적(환경)인 2X2매트릭스로 나타낼 수 있다. 1분면은 자기인식으로서, 아는 것(지식)과 무지가, 2분면은 상황인식으로서, 개인과 외부환경, 즉, 주체와 객체가, 3분면은 목적인식으로서 직시한 현실과 나아갈 방향인 이상이, 4분면은 행동변화인식으로서 추구하고자 하는 가치를 위한 실천이 통합을 이룬다. 나아가 이는 개인에게 새로운 지식과 경험으로 축적되어가는 선순환을 거치게 되며 이 모든 과정의 기준은 개인과 조직의 윤리적인 성찰성이라고 할 수 있다. [연구의 시사점]첫째, 지혜로운 경영인에 대한 연구를 국내 경영학에서 처음으로 시도하였다는 점이다. 둘째, 경영인의 지혜가 학습가능함을 모델로 개발한 연구를 시도함으로써 누구나 지니고 있는 지혜 자원에 대한 매커니즘을 구체화, 시각화시킴으로써 추상적인 지혜를 구체적인 학습개념으로 진입시켰다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 있다. 셋째, 본 연구를 토대로 각 분면마다의 학습프로그램들이 개발될 수 있는 초석이 마련되었다.

        오상(五常)의 경영이념 연구

        The objective of this paper is to extract human-oriented sustainable management philosophy from Five Constants (Humanity, Courtesy, Righteousness, Wisdom, Trust, Harmony) and to suggest frame to apply to today’s principle of corporate management. First, Humanity means that people should be born again to a true man and love each other, such that it operates as an ultimate value of human lives. Likewise, in the basis of business organization, humanity virtues (human respect, communication, consideration and love) ought to be the root as human-oriented management philosophy. The principle of Courtesy is the norms of together-behaving human ethics in human relations. Also, it is the standards about corporate ethics and responsibility and codes of conduct to be practiced. Righteousness is the concrete behavioral models that each man must execute. It is the principle of right management as a right mode of being of profit seeking and constitutes the major framework in the organization together with Humanity. Wisdom means the individual’s recognition and knowledge and involves cognition of five senses and all behaviors arising from five senses. Trust is supported by belief when justification stands properly and it is expressed by words and put into practice. Nowadays, employees’ trust to organizational leaders’ wording is the core factors of organizational management by which employees work spontaneously and enthusiastically. The principle of Harmony is to acknowledge the existence of other people and respect other values and is the kernel of management principle by embracing the coexistence of discrepancy and diversity. Based on the aforementioned interpretations, this article suggested frames of organizational operation on the ground of Five Constants and Harmony. Business should be based on the overall framework of Humanity(human orientation) and Righteousness (right management) and the internal operating system of organization must be operated by the fusion of three components of Wisdom (knowledge), Courtesy (ethical management) and Trust (trustworthy management).         ‘경영인의 지혜(Managerial Wisdom)’ 습득을 위한SSWB-Act 코칭프로그램 개발과 적용: 내러티브 중심으로

        [Purpose]The study introduces the SSWB-Act Coaching program created by combining the SSWB model and Co-active coaching for the acquisition of ‘manageial wisdom’ and suggests ways to establish ‘manageial wisdom’ to a higher level by reporting the results of one-year application. Through this, we would like to propose a program for students studying management academically and a new alternative to individuals, organizations, and business in practice. [Methodology]This study attempts a narrative research method. This is an inquiry method based on human experience to draw the complexity of human life through individual experience, and it is a method of deriving results through continuous events in the context of research participants’ experiences on a specific topic. [Findings]As a result, there were 8 changes in personal growth of those who experienced coaching, and 5 major coaching skills that led to personal growth through coaching were summarized, which can be said to be the main skills that acquired the wisdom of managers. Through this, it was verified that SSWB-Act Coaching was effective for the 7 elements that make up the ‘managerial wisdom’. Despite the results of one-year experimental research, the limitations of this study are reconsidering the nature of management education to generalize, scholars’ interest and practice, and preparing a path to management education, not theory. [Implications]This study is meaningful in that it proposed the practical performance of the SSWB model itself and teaching self-cultivation beyond the limitations of the instructor in this model.

        이론연구 및 실증분석을 통한 지혜경영

        지식이 미래의 자산이라는 공감대가 형성된 후 지식경영은 급속도로 확산되었다. 과거 지식은 인간이 자유롭게 획득할 수 있지만 공유하기 어려운 개인적 자산에 불과했다. 그러나 지식의 중요성이 연구자들에 의해 밝혀졌고, 이를 공유하기 위한 연구가 지속되었다. 이러한 연구의 산물이 지식경영시스템이다. 그러나 의사결정자들은 지식 경영시스템을 활용하면서도 시스템의 한계점을 느끼게 된다. 최종적으로 의사결정을 하기 위해서는 무의식적이고 체화되어 있는 응집된 지식이 필요한 것이다. 이것이 지혜이다. 따라서 의사결정자들은 지식경영보다 지혜경영을 더욱 중요하게 생각한다. 그러나 그 동안 지혜에 관한 연구는 많았지만 지혜경영을 연구한 결과는 거의 없다. 본 연구는 일천한 지혜정영 분야에 대해 이론연구와 실증분석을 통해 연구하였다. 연구 결과 지식과 지혜의 뚜렷한 구분을 알 수 있었다. Knowledge management has been spread rapidly since Knowledge is regarded as a crucial asset in future. Once, Knowledge had been obtained freely but hard to be shared. Studies on importance and share of knowledge have been taking place and it leads to development of knowledge management systems. However, decision makers still have problems even though they are using knowledge management systems. Eventually, for the decision makers are needed concentrated knowledge which is unconscious and embodied, when they make a decision. This is wisdom. Thus, wisdom is superior to knowledge for the decision makers. There are some researches on wisdom but wisdom management were overlooked.
