        국내 수집 야생버섯류 추출물의 생리활성 비교

        국내 자생하는 야생버섯 추출물의 생리활성 성분을 평가하기 위하여 각지에서 수집된 야생버섯 70% 에탄올추출물에 대한 DPPH 라디컬 소거능, 총 폴리페놀 및 총 플라보노이드 함량, 철 환원 항산화능, 환원력의 항산화 활성, 아질산염 소거능 및 야생버섯의 건조시료를 이용하여 베타글루칸 함량을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 10종의 야생버섯류 중에서 영지(OK1362) 에탄올추출물의 DPPH 라디컬 소거능(73.2%), 총 폴리페놀 함량(28.9 mg GAE/g) 및 총 플라보노이드 함량(10.0 mg QE/g)철 환원 항산화능(0.134), 환원력(0.155), 아질산염 소거능(56.3%)이 다른 버섯류에 비하여 유의적으로 가장 높았다. 그 이외에도 아까시흰구멍버섯(OK1360), 광대버섯속의 A. lanigera (OK1398), 졸각무당버섯(OK1406)이 높은 항산화능 및 아질산염 소거능을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 베타글루칸 함량은 영지(OK1362)가 25.2%를 나타내며 가장 높았으며, 그 외에 구름버섯속의 T. lactinea (OK1457)가 24.5%로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 자생하는 야생버섯류 중 새로운 천연물 유래 생리활성 물질을 탐색하기 위한 기초자료로서 활용 가능성을 기대한다. The aim of the study was to obtain the extracts of various native wild mushrooms and select the useful resources though biological activity evaluation. The anti-oxidant potential, nitrite scavenging activity, and ��-glucan content of wild mushrooms collected from Eumseong and Bonghwa in Korea were investigated. Based on the results of this study, Ganoderma lingzhi (OK1362) showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity (73.2%), ferric reducing anti-oxidant power (0.134), reducing power (0.155), nitrite scavenging activity (53.6%), total polyphenol content (28.9 mg GAE/g), flavonoid content (10.0 mg QE/g), and ��-glucan content (25.2%) when compared to other wild mushrooms sampled in this study. In addition, it was confirmed that Perenniporia fraxinea (OK1360), Amanita sp. (OK1398), and Russula sp. (OK1406) had relatively high anti-oxidant and nitrite scavenging potentials. In conclusion, our results can provide fundamental data for extracting beneficial compounds from wild mushrooms.

        국내 자생 야생버섯류 추출물의 생리활성 연구

        Antioxidant activities and contents of β-glucan and amino acids of wild mushrooms collected from Geosan, Boeun, Eumseong, and Bonghwa in Korea were investigated. Phaeolus schweinitzii (OK1165) displayed the highest 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity (60.3%), ferric reducing antioxidant power (3.84), reducing power (1.05), nitrite scavenging activity (96.4%), total polyphenol content (54.7 mg gallic acid equivalent/g), and flavonoid content (19.98 mg quercetin equivalent/g). The β-glucan content of Pycnoporus cinnabarinus (OK1172) of 51.9% was higher than the contents of the other mushrooms. P. schweinitzii (OK1165) displayed the highest total amino acid (1,373.9 mg/kg) and essential amino acid (515.0 mg/kg) contents among the wild mushrooms. The findings confirmed that wild mushrooms could be a high-value resource for functional foods with pronounced antioxidant activity. The results also provide fundamental data for extracting useful compounds from wild mushrooms.

        국내 야생버섯의 항산화 활성 및 베타글루칸 함량 분석

        The anti-oxidant activities and β-glucan contents of wild mushrooms collected from Songnisan, Soi-myeon, Joryeongsan, and Ganghwado, Korea, were investigated. Among the wild mushroom extracts, Pycnoporus sanguineus (OK1071), Piptoporus soloniensis (OK1090), and Daedalea dickinsii (OK1094) extracts showed the highest DPPH and ABTS+ radical scavenging activities. The nitrite scavenging activity and total polyphenol content of the extract of P. sanguineus (OK1071) was 74.2% and 37.7 mg GAE/g, respectively, and these values were much higher than those of the other mushrooms analyzed in this study. The Pearson’s correlation coefficients of the DPPH radical and nitrite scavenging activities with the total polyphenol contents of the wild mushroom extracts were r = 0.758 (p < .01) and r = 0.951 (p < .01), respectively. The β-glucan contents of Lenzites betulina (OK1040), Trametes versicolor (OK1044), and P. sanguineus (OK1071) were 47.8%, 43.9%, and 41.8%, respectively, which were higher than those of the other mushrooms. Therefore, the wild mushrooms analyzed were confirmed to have excellent antioxidant activities and high β-glucan contents. Accordingly, the fundamental data provided in this study can be used to isolate useful compounds from these wild mushrooms.

        국내 야생수집 버섯류 추출물의 생리활성 분석

        국내 자생하는 야생버섯의 생리활성 및 항염 활성을 분석하기 위하여 버섯추출물에 대한 DPPH 라디컬 소거능, 아질산염 소거능, 총 폴리페놀 함량, NO 생성저해도 및 세포독성을 분석하였다. 국내 수집 야생버섯 중에서 DPPH 라디컬 소거능이 높은 버섯은 64.2%를 나타낸 박막깔때기버섯(OK825)과 69.7%를 보인 흰우단버섯(OK829)이었다. 아질산염 소거능은 흰우단버섯(OK811)이 64.1%로 가장 높았다. 야생수집 버섯류 중에서 가장 높은 총 폴리페놀 함량을 나타낸 것은 젖비단버섯(OK804), 흰우단버섯(OK829) 및 큰밤갈색광대버섯(OK944)으로 각각 19.7 mg GAE/g, 20.2 mg GAE/g, 22.3 mg GAE/g의 값을 보였다. NO 생성저해도의 경우, 박막깔때기버섯(OK825)과 노란다발버섯(OK826)은 각각 11.8%와 11.2%로 가장 낮은 NO를 생성하는 것으로 나타나 수집 버섯 추출물 중에서 가장 높은 항염증 효능을 보였다. MTT를 이용한 세포생존율(%)을 측정한 결과 젖비단그물버섯(OK804), 흰우단버섯(OK811), 노란젖버섯(OK904)의 추출물에서는 각각 40.3%, 48.3%, 43.2%로 가장 높은 생존율을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과는 국내 버섯산업의 확대를 위하여 우수버섯자원을 발굴함과 동시에 토종 버섯자원을 이용한 새로운 천연물 유래 생리활성 물질로 활용하기 위한 기초자료로 활용도가 높으리라 기대된다. This study was carried out to analyze the physiological activities of wild mushroom extracts collected from the Gangwon-do, Gyeonggi-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do provinces in Korea. Among the wild mushroom extracts, those of Clitocybe robusta and Leucopaxillus giganteus (OK829) showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activities. Nitrite scavenging activity of the L. giganteus extract (OK811) was determined to be 64.1%, which is considerably higher than those of the other mushroom extracts analyzed in this study. The total polyphenol levels in Suillus granulatus, L. giganteus (OK829), and Amanita manginiana extracts were found to be 19.7 mg GAE/g, 20.2 mg GAE/g, and 22.3 mg GAE/g, respectively. To determine their anti-inflammatory effects, nitric oxide production, and cell viability, NO measurement and MTT assays were performed using lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated RAW 264.7 cells. The levels of nitric oxide (NO) produced by the C. robusta and Hypholoma fasciculare extracts were remarkably lower than those produced by the others. In our MTT assay, the extracts of S. granulatus, L. giganteus (OK811), and Lactarius chrysorrheus showed high cell viabilities of 40.3%, 48.3%, and 43.2%, respectively. These results can provide the fundamental data for extracting useful compounds from wild mushrooms.

        Research Articles : Evaluation of Ten Wild Nigerian Mushrooms for Amylase and Cellulase Activities

        Amylases and cellulases are important enzymes that can be utilized for various biological activities. Ten different wild Nigerian mushrooms (Agaricus blazei, Agaricus sp., Corilopsis occidentalis, Coriolus versicolor, Termitomyces clypeatus, Termitomyces globulus, Pleurotus tuber-regium, Podoscypha bolleana, Pogonomyces hydnoides, and Nothopanus hygrophanus) were assayed for production of these secondary metabolites. The results revealed that most of the tested wild fungi demonstrated very good amylase and cellulase activities. With the incorporation of carboxymethyl-cellulose (a carbon source) into the culture medium, Agaricus blazei had the highest amylolytic activity of 0.60 unit/mL (at 25˚C, pH 6.8). This was followed in order by P. tuber-regium and Agaricus sp. with 0.42 and 0.39 unit/mL, respectively (p≤0.05). Maltose and sucrose supplementation into the submerged liquid medium made N. hygrophanus and P. hydnoides to exhibit very low amylase activities of 0.09 and 0.11 unit/mL, respectively. Introducing peptone (an organic nitrogen source) into the basal medium enhanced the ability of C. versicolor to produce a cellulase value of 0.74 unit/mL. Other organic nitrogen sources that supported good cellulase activities were yeast extract and urea. Sodium nitrate (inorganic nitrogen source) generally inhibited cellulase production in all mushrooms. The best carbon source was carboxymethyl-cellulose, which promoted very high cellulase activity of 0.67 unit/ mL in C. versicolor, which was followed in order by P. tuber-regium, T. chypeatus, and C. occidentalis (p≤0.05). Sucrose was the poorest carbon compound, supporting the lowest values of 0.01, 0.01, and 0.14 unit/mL in P. hydnoides, A. blazei, and Agaricus sp., respectively.

        제주 교래곶자왈에 자생하는 버섯의 종류와 발생 특성

        제주 곶자왈의 생태적 보전과 관리가 필요한 시점에서 중산간지대의 민오름에서 발원하여 형성된 교래곶자왈 중 에코랜드에서 발생되는 자생버섯의 종류와 생태를 2015년 5월부터 2016년 12월까지 20개월 간 조사하였다. 본 조사지역에서 관찰된 버섯은 총 16목 54과 125속 186종이었다. 그 중 가장 다양한 종이 출현한 목은 주름버섯목으로 88종이 확인되었고, 다음은 구멍장이버섯목으로 33종이 확인되었다. 기주별로는 2015년에는 고사목에서 87종, 곤충에서 1종, 이끼에서 3종, 잔디에서 2종, 지상에서 45종이 발생하였으며, 2016년에는 고사목에서 104종, 곤충에서 3종, 잔디에서 2종, 지상에서 68종, 버섯에서 1종이 발생하였다. 이는 곶자왈 특유의 현무암으로 이루어진 지형 및 지질적인 특성 때문에 고사목을 기주로 하는 버섯이 다양하게 출현하였고, 균근성 버섯이 적은 것으로 사료된다. 한편, 기온이 높고 강수량이 많았던 7~9월에 많은 버섯 발생량을 보였다. 따라서 조사지역에서의 버섯 발생량은 강수량 및 평균기온의 변화와 매우 밀접한 상관관계에 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. In this study, at the point when ecological preservation and management are required, the types and ecology of wild fungi were surveyed for two years at Gyorae Gotjawal-on which Ecoland is seated - one of Gotjawals originated from Mn Oreum in the middle mountain zone. The fungi found in research area including Ecoland were 16 order 54 family 125 genera 186 species in total. Among them the following species were identified; Agaricales 88 species, Polyporales 33 species which were most frequently found. In 2015, 87 species occurred on dead tree, 1 on mushroom, 3 on moss, 2 on grass. In 2016, 104 species occurred on dead tree, 3 on insect, 2 on grass, 68 on soil surface, and 1 on mushroom. Probably, the geological characteristics of Gotjawal, which consist of mainly basalt, may be resulted in lots of fungi parasiting in dead trees as their host but small number of mycorrhizal mushrooms. On the other hand, amount of occurrence of fungi was increased from July to September when the temperature and precipitation was higher. Therefore, it has been proven that the occurrence of mushroom in the research area was closely related to the precipitation and the change of average temperature.

        Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activities of Mycelia of 10 Wild Mushroom Species

        Antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of mycelia obtained from 10 wild edible mushrooms—Armillaria mellea, Meripilus giganteus, Morchella costata, Morchella elata, Morchella esculenta var. vulgaris, Morchella hortensis, Morchella rotunda, Paxillus involutus, Pleurotus eryngii, and Pleurotus ostreatus—were investigated. For determination of antimicrobial activities of these mushrooms, ethanol extracts were examined with 11 test microorganisms by the agar well diffusion method. P. ostreatus and M. giganteus were the most active species against both bacteria and yeast. Antioxidant properties of ethanol extracts were studied by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging method. Among the mushroom extracts, M. elata showed the most potent radical scavenging activity. This research has shown that these 10 wild macrofungi have potential as natural antioxidants and antibiotics.

      • Wild mushroom consumption in the P’urhépecha Plateau at Michoacán, México: social, ethnomycological and nutritional issues

        Among Mesoamerican cultures, P’urhépecha settlers inhabiting Michoacán State in Central Mexico preserve ancestral tradition on mushrooms eating. Most mycological knowledge available for this ethnical group has been addressed in the Pátzcuaro’s Lake zone, whereas P’urhépecha communities in other cultural and ecological relevant geographic areas remain unstudied. Thus, this work describes the ethnomycological knowledge of a scarcely analyzed Arantepacua P’urhépecha community at Michoacán Plateau region. Through structured interviews and field collections, data on the use, knowledge, biomass extraction and nomenclature of wild mushrooms were obtained. A list of P’urhépecha names to design 16 wild mushrooms species and 11 fruitbody components is documented and studied community used Spanish popular names to describe 21 wild mushrooms species and 11 fruitbody structures. Most valuable consumed mushroom species for Arantepacua settlers belong to the Amanita, Boletus, Hypomyces and Ramaria genera. Gender roles on mushrooms collect and cooking, new terms in P’urhépecha dialect to refer the parts of a fruitbody and vegetative mycelium, as well as local recipes and nutritional relevance of the mushroom species consumed by studied community are addressed and discussed. The ethnomycological knowledge documented contributes new terms in P’urhépecha to name the parts of an agarical fruitbody, the mycelium and empirical knowledge about mycorrhizal associations. This was the first P’urhépecha ethnomycological study made outside the Lake Pátzcuaro basin.

        치악산 국립공원의 야생버섯 발생과 기상요소의 상관관계

        In this study, in order to provide an information for artificial cultivation of wild mushroom, the meteorological effects on wild mushroom appearance were examined using daily meteorological observations in Chiak National Park. The survey of wild mushroom appearance was carried out once a month from June to October. Under high temperature and humidity conditions in July and August, the appearance of wild mushroom was frequent. In contrast, lower number of wild mushroom appeared in October. Wild mushroom appearance was affected by solar radiation, relative humidity, precipitation, and soil water content whereas the impact of air and soil temperature was lower than that of other meteorological elements.

        국내 야생수집 버섯의 아미노산 함량 분석

        본 연구는 국내에서 수집한 15종의 야생버섯류를 식용 가능 및 약용가능, 식독불명 또는 독버섯으로 분류하여 아미노산 성분함량을 분석하였다. 식용가능한 야생버섯들의 총 아미노산 성분함량의 범위는 866.4 ~ 1,220.5 mg/ kg이었으며, 필수 아미노산의 총 함량은 301.4 ~ 490.2 mg/kg이었다. 그 중 흰우단버섯(OK811)에서 다량의 류신 (Leu), 페닐알라닌(Phe), 시스테인(Cys), 글루탐산(Glu) 함량을 보이며 식용가능한 야생버섯류 중에서 총 필수 아미노산 함량이 가장 높았다. 약용가능한 버섯류의 총 아미 노산 성분함량의 범위는 802.6 ~ 1,233.7 mg/kg이었으며 필수 아미노산 총 함량의 범위는 263.5 ~ 412.8 mg/kg이었다. 그 중간버섯속(OK1071)의 총 아미노산 및 필수 아미노산 함량이 약용가능한 야생버섯류 중에서 가장 높았다. 특히 비필수 아미노산 성분인 시스테인(Cys)은 204.1 mg/kg가 검출되어 약용가능 야생버섯 뿐만 아니라 식용가능 야생버섯류에 비하여 훨씬 높은 함량을 나타냈다. 독버섯 또는 식독불명 버섯류의 총 아미노산 함량 범위는 681.8 ~ 1223.4 mg/kg 이었으며, 필수 아미노산의 함량의 범위는 229.1 ~ 442.8 mg/kg이다. 독버섯으로 알려진 노랑다발(OK826)은 이들 버섯류 중에서 가장 높은 총 아미노산 함량을 보였으며, 알기닌(Arg)은 109.2 mg/kg 로 식용 또는 약용가능한 버섯류들에 비하여 높게 검출되 었고 페닐알라닌(Phe)은 120.6 mg/kg로 약용가능한 야생 버섯류들에 비하여 높게 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 야생버섯을 이용한 신품종 또는 산업적 이용 등을 위한 우수 버섯자원 선발에 필요한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. Fifteen species of wild mushrooms, which are classified as edible, medicinal, poisonous, or unknown types, were analyzed for their free amino acid contents. The average total amino acid content was 1,120.0 mg/kg in the edible type, 1,037.8 mg/kg in the medicinal type, and 1,010.8 mg/kg in the poisonous or unknown type, respectively. The edible type wild mushrooms showed the highest average content of total essential amino acids; conversely, the poisonous or unknown type showed the lowest content. Leucopaxillus giganteus (OK811) showed the highest total amino acid (1,212.4 mg/kg) and essential amino acid (490.2 mg/kg) contents among edible type, while Pycnoporus sanguineus (OK1071) showed the highest total amino acid (1,233.7 mg/kg) and essential amino acid (412.8 mg/kg) contents among the medicinal type. Among the poisonous or unknown type, Hypholoma fasciculare (OK826) showed the highest total amino acid (1,223.4 mg/kg) and essential amino acid (442.8 mg/kg) contents. The amino acid contents of wild mushrooms are fundamental data for the screening of useful genetic resources with nutritionally superior properties.
