        아르누보 문양을 활용한 넥타이디자인 개발연구

        In rapidly changing comtemporary society, a necktie, as one of the men`s accessaries, has become an important fashion item with the change of men`s value. Many men want to have various kinds of neckties to satisfy their desire. As of today, it is placed in insufficient and lacking study to depeople the competitive necktie design and to compete with the international brands. Thus, it has need of continual necktie design development to deal with international necktie design. For this, this study aims at developing special and original necktie design using Art Nouveau`s patterns, and subdivided Art Nouveau`s patterns after analyzing Art Nouveau styles and forms. Photoshop and Illustration were used for necktie design. Simulation was conducted to check these designs. Therefore, the first theme was Art Nouveau`s animal patterns focused on Wildlife arrange. The second theme was plants and abstract patterns focused on Classic arrange. The third theme was flower patterns focused on Culture Arrange. The fourth theme was abstract pattern focused on bio arrange. The fifth theme was latter patterns focused on Deco arrange. As mentioned above, this study targets on the development of necktie design using Art Nouveau`s patterns. It is expected that this will be an important material for future design. When more original patterns are designed for neckties, it is possible to be a competitive necktie.

        스트라이프 넥타이의 형태 변인에 따른 소비자의 선호도와 구매도 분석

        넥타이에 있어서 스트라이프는 소비자가 가장 선호하는 문양 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 스트라이프넥타이의 형태 변인에 따른 소비자의 선호도와 구매도를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 측정 도구는 자극물, 선호도와 구매도 척도로 구성되었다. 자극물은 넥타이 폭(좁은, 중간, 넓은), 스트라이프 배열(가로, 세로, 사선), 스트라이프면적비(1;1 1;2, 1;3)로 된 27개의 컬러 그림으로 조작되었으며, 선호도와 구매도 평가는 7점 척도를 사용하였다. 자료는 서울, 광주, 대구, 진주, 창원 등지에 거주하는 20-30대 성인남녀 270명을 대상으로 하여 2011년 11월에 수집되었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS프로그램에 의해 변량분석과 Duncantest가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.; 스트라이프 넥타이의 형태 변인에 따른 선호도를 알아보기 위해 사용된 단서 중주효과에서는 넥타이 폭과 스트라이프 배열이 유의한 영향을 미치는 단서로 작용하였으며, 특히 스트라이프 배열은 지배적인 영향을 미치는 단서로 드러났다. 상호작용효과에서는 넥타이 폭과 스트라이프 배열이 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 스트라이프 넥타이의 형태 변인에 따른 구매도를 알아본 결과 주효과에서는 넥타이 폭과 스트라이프 배열이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 상호작용 효과에서는 변인 간에 유의적인 영향을 나타내지 않았다. 스트라이프 넥타이의 형태 변인별로 선호도와 구매도를 비교한 결과 선호도와 구매도 간에는 의미있는 차이를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과는 넥타이 상품기획 시 유용한 자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이다. Stripe is one of the most preferred necktie patterns to consumer. In this study, the purpose was to analyze the consumer`s preference and purchasing according to the form variable of a striped necktie. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and 7-point scales. The stimuli were 27 color pictures, in which necktie width(narrow, medium, wide), stripe arrangement (horizontal, vertical, oblique), and stripe area-ratio(1;1, 1;2, 1;3) were manipulated. The 7-point scales were used for analyzing the consumer`s preference and purchasing. Data were obtained from 270 men and women in their 20s and 30s living in Seoul, Gwangju, Daegu, Jinju, and Changwon on November 2011. For the data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were used by using SPSS program. Results of this study were as follows.; Among the factors used for analyzing the consumer`s preference according to the form variable of a striped necktie, the necktie width and stripe arrangement showed independent effects. Especially the stripe arrangement was a determining factor. Interaction effects of the necktie width and stripe arrangement were found. Among the factors used for analyzing the consumer`s purchasing according to the form variable of a striped necktie, the necktie width and stripe arrangement showed independent effects, The interaction effects of all factors weren`t found. The comparison of the consumer`s preference and purchasing according to the form variable of a striped necktie showed meaningful differences. The study results are highly expected to be used as valuable sources in plans for necktie products.

        체형을 고려한 맞춤형 넥타이 개발에 관한 연구(제1보) : 넥타이 길이를 중심으로 Focused on the Length of Necktie

        The purpose of this study was to develop customized necktie design according to Korean adult male's body characteristics. For this purpose, experimentations of visual sensory evaluation on visual stimuli which show a man's wearing various neckties were carried out. The subjects were students(n=130) majoring in fashion and design related area and experts(n=6). The data were analyzed by ANOVA, duncan test, pearson's correlation coefficient, cross tabulation using spss pc^(+) program. Also statistic of Korean adult men's body measurements(1997) were analyzed and used to decide appropriate necktie length according to the customer's various height. The results were as follows: First, there were significant difference in visual sensibility on the stimuli showing 1) relative location of belt and necktie. 2) neckties with various length using golden ratio to the experimental model's height. Therefore, the need of producing neckties with different length according to customer's various height were verified. Second, neckties with three different length(140㎝, 145㎝, 151㎝) were suggested for the groups of 160㎝ height, 170㎝ height, 180㎝ height according to Korean adult male's body characteristics and aspect of production.

        수복도를 활용한 넥타이디자인 연구

        본 논문은 한국적인 전통소재를 활용하여 특성화된 넥타이상품을 개발한 연구이다. 조선시대의 수복도(壽福圖)에 표현된 길상어문(吉祥語紋)인 ‘수’와 ‘복’자를 활용한 작품연구를 통해 전통문화에 대한 가치를 높이고 현대적인 활용 가능성을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 관련 문헌과 온라인 자료 등을 통하여 수복도에 표현된 ‘수(壽)’와 ‘복(福)’자가 가진 상징적 의미와 서체 및 조형적 특성을 분석하고 이를 현대적인 넥타이용 패턴으로 전개하여 오늘날 현대인들에게도 특화상품으로 소구 될 수 있는 넥타이로 개발하고자 하였다. 연구 과정으로는 첫째, 수복도에 대한 문헌, 인터넷 등에 의한 자료 수집 및 분석, 둘째, 엄선한 이미지 자료를 그래픽 프로그램을 활용한 단순화 및 기초문양 제작, 셋째, 단위문양 제작 및 텍스타일 전개, 넷째, 실제 규격의 시뮬레이션을 통해 현대적인 감각에의 적합도를 점검하고, 다섯째, 선별한 디자인의 시직(試織)을 통해 디자인 의도를 확인하고, 여섯째, 이를 시제품으로 제작하여 연구목적에 부합하는 상품성으로의 가능성을 제시하였다. 연구결과 ‘수복도’는 장수와 만복을 기원하는 길상어문으로의 상징적 의미와 더불어 빼어난 문자예술로 승화된 미적 조형성으로 다양한 분야로 활용성을 확대할 수 있는 대표적인 문화유산 소재임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 향후 유사분야의 지속적인 연구를 통해 패션 분야는 물론, 다양한 문화 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 연구로도 이어져 우리의 문화자산에 대한 활용가치를 높이는 계기가 되기를 기대한다. Among the men’s apparel elements, this study targeted on the necktie and utilized the phrases wishing for the longevity and good fortune expressed in the Painting of Longevity and Good Fortune (Subokdo Painting) of Joseon Dynasty to develop a special necktie with themes of traditional Korean image and explore the applicable fields. This study referred to the related literature and online materials to analyze the symbolic meaning of Chinese characters, “Longevity(壽)” and “Good Fortune(福)” expressed in the Painting of Longevity and Good Fortune while analyzing the handwriting style and formative characteristics. Then, this study recreated them into a pattern for the modern necktie to design a necktie that appeals to the modern people as a specialty. The research processes were as follows. First, this study collected images from the literatures and Internet about Painting of Longevity and Good Fortune and analyzed them theoretically. Second, this study simplified the images and made a basic pattern by utilizing a graphic program. Third, this study made the unit pattern and worked on the textile. Fourth, this study simulated an actual-size necktie and checked on whether the necktie met the modern needs and trends. Fifth, this study made a sample design and checked on whether the design met the design intention. Sixth, this study made a sample product and came up with the necktie’s commercial value. The results were as follows. “Painting of Longevity and Good Fortune” was verified as the cultural heritage applicable on different fields and the painting’s phrases wishing for the longevity and good fortune hold the symbolic meanings and aesthetic formativeness elevated to the level of outstanding letter art. Thus, this study hopes that the further researches on the similar fields would lead to researches on the fashion field and various cultural contents to enhance the values of Korean cultural assets.

        Development and Production of Necktie Textile Design Utilizing “Chaekgado”

        Background : The necktie is one of the most representative fashion items for men, as it is the focal point of the monotonous suit that reveals the wearer’s fashion personality. Since the situation in Korea necktie design is not beyond the stage of imitating the foreign brands, now we will develop original Korean necktie design creatively. Methods : The geometric patterns expressed on book boxes in “Chaekgado”, one of the Korean traditional folk paintings, are assumed to well express the traditional Korean image. In this regard, this study selected them as the design source to transform the traditional patterns into the textile design in Korean style sense combined with the modern sensibilities. Result : Two pieces of “Chaekgado” were selected and six necktie textile designs with them were developed utilizing Adobe Illustrator. Conclusion : They were then printed on 100% silk twill textile design to be used as new materials, which, in turn, were produced into six neckties.

        성인 남성의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 넥타이 디자인 선호도 연구 연구 -스트라이프 패턴을 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study was examining the preference difference of the necktie design for the stripe patterns according to the demographic characteristics. The study method was a research study through a survey. The study subject was the adult men in their from 20`s to 50`s. The study stimulative was the stripe patterns of man`s necktie which were made by Adobe Photoshop 9 with using the color, the arrangement, the interval, and the width of necktie. The results of study are as follows. As the difference analysis result for the color preference for stripe pattern according to the demographic characteristic, men in their 20`s preferred most gray series, men whose monthly income is less than two millions won and men of owner-operator preferred most red series, and all the rest of men preferred blue series. As the difference analysis result for the preference of arrangement type, men in their 20`s preferred most the stripe pattern of width, students preferred most the stripe pattern of length, all the rest of men preferred most the stripe pattern of diagonal. As the difference analysis result for the preference of stripe interval for necktie, unmarried men, students, men in their 20`s, and men engaging in sales/service and production work preferred most the interval of 0.6cm, all the rest of men preferred most the interval of 1.2cm. As the difference analysis result for the preference of necktie width, unmarried men, men in their 20`s, men engaging in sales/service and production work, and students preferred most the width of 7cm, all the rest of men preferred most the interval of 8cm.

        한,중 여대생의 넥타이 변인과 색채에 따른 남성패션 선호도 연구

        본 연구에서는 한국과 중국 여대생을 대상으로 남성패션에서 셔츠와 넥타이 배색 및 넥타이 폭에 따른 선호도를 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 넥타이 폭 및 셔츠와 넥타이의 배색으로 조합된 12개의 자극물과 평가척도를 측정도구로 사용하였으며, 피험자는 중국 여대생 120명과 한국 여대생 120명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 자료분석은 SPSS 17.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분산분석과 t-test 등을 실시하였다. 한국 여대생을 대상으로 셔츠와 넥타이의 배색 및 넥타이 폭의 변화가 선호도에 미치는 영향의 차이를 분석한 결과 색상은 셔츠와 넥타이의 배색 및 넥타이 폭의 변화에 따른 선호도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 단서로 작용하였으며, 넥타이 폭은 색상과 상호작용하여 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중국 여대생을 대상으로 한 경우, 톤면적비는 셔츠와 넥타이의 배색 및 넥타이 폭의 변화에 따른 선호도에 독립적인 영향을 미치는 단서로 나타났다. 한국과 중국 여대생의 넥타이와 셔츠의 배색과 넥타이 폭에 따른 선호도에 대해 전체 12가지 자극물 중 한국은 7가지, 중국은 10가지가 선호하는 것으로 나타났으며, 한국여대생은 좁은 넥타이 폭과 light shirt/dark tie의 조합인 경우, 중국 여대생은 dark shirt/light tie 조합인 경우 높은 선호도를 보여 문화에 따른 차이를 보였다. 이와 같이 넥타이 변인과 색채의 변화에 따라 남성 패션의 선호도는 문화 간 차이가 있는 것으로 지각되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 남성복 디자인 기획 시 한국과 중국 소비자의 기호에 맞는 차별화된 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this research was to compare the preference of necktie width and coloration of shirt and necktie on male fashion by Korean and Chinese female college students. The stimuli were 12 color pictures manipulated with the combination of necktie-width and coloration of the shirt/necktie using computer simulation. The subjects were 120 Korean female college students and 120 Chinese female college students. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 program. Anaiysis methods were ANOVA and, t-test. The results of research can be summarized as follows. In the Korean female college students, color showed independent effect. Significant interaction effects of neck-tie width and color on preference of the Korean female college students. In the Chinese female college students, tone area-ratio showed independent effect. Among 12 stimuli, Korean female college students evaluated 7set and Chinese female college students judged 10set as preferred. Korean female college students preferred neck-tie of narrow width and light shirt/dark tie combination, Chinese female college students preferred dark shirt/light tie coloration. It could be supposed that the different evaluation were caused by their different cultural backgrounds. Preference of male fashion can be perceived differently by variation of necktie variables and Color. Thus, the significance of this study is to provide basic data for planning differentiated Menswear

        체크넥타이의 디자인요소가 선호도와 구매도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 체크넥타이의 디자인요소가 선호도와 구매도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있었다. 본 연구에 사용된 실험도구는 체크문양의 폭(소: 0.2㎝, 중: 1㎝, 대: 2㎝), 색조조합(유사: 하양+밝은, 반대: 하양+어두운), 색상조합(WR: 하양+빨강, WB: 하양+파랑, WG: 하양+회색)으로 만든 총 18개의 사진 자극물과 체크넥타이의 선호도와 구매도를 평가하기 위해 의미미분척도를 사용하였다. 피험자는 경남에 거주하는 여대생 108명을 대상으로, 조사는 2009년 9월에 실시되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS프로그램을 사용하였으며, 변량분석과 Duncan-test를 실시하였다. 체크넥타이의 디자인요소가 선호도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 사용된 단서 중 주효과에서는 색상조합을 제외한 폭과 색조조합이 선호도 평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 단서로 작용하였으며, 특히 폭은 지배적인 영향을 미치는 단서로 드러났다. 상호작용효과에서는 폭과 색조조합, 폭과 색상조합이 유의적인 영향을 미쳤다. 체크넥타이의 디자인요소가 구매도에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 주효과에는 폭, 색조조합, 색상조합 모두 유의적인 영향을 나타내지 않았으나 상호작용효과에는 폭과 색조조합, 폭과 색상조합, 색조조합과 색상조합이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구는 넥타이를 선택하는 소비자의 기호 정도를 파악함으로 넥타이 기획 시 유용한 자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of design element of checked necktie on preference and purchasing. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 16color pictures, in which the width(small: 0.2㎝, medium: 1㎝, large: 2㎝), tone combination(similar, contrast), and hue combination(WR: white+red, WB: white+blue, WG: white+gray) were manipulated by computer simulation. The subjects of this research were 108 female college students living in Gyeongnam. The investigation was carried out at September 2009. The data were analyzed by using SPSS program. Analysis methods were ANOVA and Duncan-test. Among the factors used for investigating the effect of design element of checked necktie on preference, width and tone combination except hue combination showed independent effect and width was a determining factor in the estimation of preference. In examining the effect of interaction between factors affecting the preference, width and tone combination, width and hue combination were interactive each other and influenced significantly on the preference. Among the factors used for investigating the effect of design element of checked necktie on purchasing, all factors didn`t show independent effect. In examining the effect of interaction between factors affecting the purchasing, width and tone combination, width and hue combination, tone combination and hue combination were interactive each other and influenced significantly on the purchasing. The study results are highly expected to be used as useful sources in projecting a necktie.

      • 이른바 '히딩크 넥타이'의 도안의 저작물성

        Our supreme court declared that the design of so-called "Hiddink Necktie" is copyrightable. It contrast with the decision of "Daihan Textile" case. In that case the supreme court declared that 'Le Desire' and 'Le Basket'(the flower design which were registered in US Copyright Office) was not copyrightable in our copyright system. The reason is that those designs contain no artistic value or feature. But it is groundless. Anyway there- after the court denied the copyrightability of the industrial design in many cases even though the copyright act protect the applied art without limitation. In 2000 we revised the artistic works clause of copyright act(§4①ⅳ) like the US copyright act. That is the adoption of 'separability' test. In a sense the revised clause narrowed the scope of copyrightability of the applied art. But we regard it as granted that two-dimensional design is protectable under that clause. The Hiddink-Necktie court affirmed that the pattern of necktie design is copyrightable. From now on we suppose that two-dimensional design is apt to be protected by copyright law.
