언어 네트워크 분석(Semantic Network Analysis)을 활용한 장애인보조기구 연구동향 분석

본 연구에서는 장애인의 장애를 예방·보완하고 일상생활의 편의를 증진을 위하여 사용되는 보조기구에 대한 연구동향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 관련 연구는 꾸준히 증가 하여왔으며, 그 연구영역 또한 실태조사 연구에서 서비스관련 연구, 보조기구개발연구 등으로 확대되었음을 알 수 있다. 또한 관련 용어 사용에 있어서 초기에는 ‘재활공학’, ‘재활보조공학’이라는 용어로 사용되는 부분이 현재에는 ‘보조공학’, ‘보조공학서비스’, ‘보조공학기’, ‘보조기구’의 용어로 주로 사용되는 모습을 나타냈다. This study analyzed research trends of assistive devices used to prevent and support disability and increase convenience for people with disabilities in their daily lives. As a result, related research has continuously increased, and the research area has expanded from survey research to service-related research and assistive device development research. In addition, with regard to the use of related terms, terms such as ‘rehabilitation engineering’ and ‘rehabilitation assistive technology’ were used in the early stages. Currently, terms such as ‘assistive technology’, ‘assistive technology service’, ‘assistive technology device’. and ‘assistive device’ have been mainly used.

뇌전도 측정 및 처리 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

In general, EEG signal analysis has been the subject of several studies due to its ability to provide an objective mode of recording brain stimulation, which is widely used in brain-computer interface research with applications in medical diagnosis and rehabilitation engineering. In this study, we developed EEG reception hardware to measure electroencephalograms and implemented a processing system, classifying it into server and data processing. It was conducted as an intermediate-stage research on the implementation of a brain-computer interface using electroencephalograms, and was implemented in the form of predicting the users arm movements according to measured electroencephalogram data. Electroencephalogram measurements were performed using input from four electrodes through an analog-to-digital converter. After sending this to the server through a communication process, we designed and implemented a system flow in which the server classifies the electroencephalogram input using a convolutional neural network model and displays the results on the user terminal.

There were such groups, ‘U.S. Practical Modernists’ in the OEC during 1950’s. No one had focused on such groups except a few studies. They have three points to different from others. First, people with business experience formed in South America in the 1940s. Secondly members of the Moral Law College in the United States, the United Nations and the Foundation, and lastly, they entered the U.S. diplomatic arena. Then, the practice of U.S. Korean aid in the 1950s took the form of two fields; technical cooperation and rehabilitation engineer service. Among them, technical cooperation has become a channel for these working-level modernists to be invested in Korean aid. They put ‘Low level modernization’, which puts priority on supporting health, sanitation, education, and agriculture, not industrial development. In conclusion, the U.S. Korean aid policy in the 1950s was not an appropriate form of development aid for the underdeveloped country. It would still be said that the postwar restoration was strong despite the slogans, “from relief to rehabilitation” in 1957.

전동휠체어의 기준규격 비교를 통한 안전성 향상 방안

전 세계적인 고령화로 인한 평균 연령이 증가로 하고 있으며, 이로 인해 노인성 질환 환자 역시 증가 추이를 보이고 있다. 또한 기술의 발달로 인해 다양한 모빌리티 기기가 개발되어 상해 환자 역시 점차 증가하는 추이를 보이고 있다. 이러한 환자들의 증가로 이들의 사회 참여 및 이동을 위한 휠체어 수요 역시 증가하고 있다. 그러나 국내에서 휠체어 및 유사 품목에 대하여 해외에 비해 분류가 세분화 되지 않다. 이는 안전성에 있어 자세한 기준이 없다는 것과 동일하다. 특히 휠체어의 경우 하지 장애가 있는 환자들이 사용하고 있으며, 더욱 안전하게 사용할 수 있도록 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 하지 재활이 필요한 환자들이장기적으로 사용하는 전동휠체어를 대상으로 연구하고자 한다. FDA에서 30가지로 분류되고 있는 휠체어 품목을 국내에서 품목 분류하고 있는 휠체어와 비교하였다. 또한 국내에서 사용되고 있는 전동휠체어의 의료기기 기준규격과 참조규격인 EN 12184의 성능 표준을 비교하여 향후 전동휠체어의 의료기기 기준규격 개정시 사용자의 안전성 향상을 위한 방향성을 제언하고자 한다. The average age is increasing due to global aging, and due to this, patients with senile diseases are also showing an increasing trend. In addition, due to the development of technology, various mobility devices have been developed, and the number of injured patients is also gradually increasing. With the increase of these patients, the demand for wheelchairs for their social participation and movement is also increasing. However, the classification of wheelchairs and similar items in Korea is not subdivided compared to overseas ones. This is the same as there are no detailed standards for safety. In particular, wheelchairs are used by patients with lower limb disabilities, and research is needed so that they can be used more safely. This study aims to study electric wheelchairs used by patients in need of lower limb rehabilitation. Wheelchair items classified into 30 categories by the FDA were compared with wheelchairs classified in Korea. In addition, by comparing the performance standards of the electric wheelchair medical device standard used in Korea with the performance standards of the reference standard EN 12184, it is intended to suggest directions for improving the safety of users when revising the medical device standard for electric wheelchairs in the future.

AAC 서비스에 대한 보조공학사들의 인식 및 요구 분석

본 연구는 AAC 서비스에 대한 보조공학사들의 인식 및 요구를 살펴보고 AAC 서비스의 확대 및 효율적 제공을 위한 실제적 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 위해 전국에 있는 보조기구센터 10곳에 소속된 전문가를 중심으로 연구대상자를 선정하였으며, 총 69명의 보조공학사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, AAC 사용 및 교육의 경험이 있는 보조공학사들이 더 많았으며, 교육 경로는 ‘학교정규 수업을 통해’가 가장 높았다. 둘째, AAC에 대한 보조공학사들의 이해 및 관심에 대한 일반적 인식은 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 이들의 AAC 사용경험 유무에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, AAC 사용자 및 제공자를 위한 AAC 정보제공 및 지원의 확대가 필요하며, 미래에는 AAC에 대한 요구가 높아짐은 물론 공학기술을 기반으로 한 AAC 기기들이 주를 이룰 것이라고 응답하였다. 본 연구는 AAC 서비스가 센터 현장의 AAC 사용자 및 제공자들을 위한 보다 효율적 지원방향을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to examine the awareness and demands from assistive technology professionals on the service and propose practical methods for AAC service. This study selected subjects who are experts working in 10 assistive technology centers and survey was conducted among 69 assistive technology professionals. Results from this study are presented as follows. First, many assistive technology professionals learned AAC through school course. Second, there was a significant difference in the presence of using AAC experience regarding their general awareness of the understanding and interests on AAC. Third, many responders said that it is significant to provide AAC information and extend supports for AAC users and providers. They added that demands of AAC will grow in the future and engineering-based ACC instruments will take up the most market. This study will enable AAC service to offer basic data to establish more efficient supportive direction for AAC users and providers of the assistive technology center.

Chemical Sensors and Actuators for Rehabilitation Engineering

Rehabilitation engineering is a new engineering field and becomes more important as the aged population grows. Fundamental aspects on rehabilitation engineering are briefly described. Sensors and actuators play significant roles in this field. Our projects on sensors and actuators are reviewed. They are enzyme embodied electrode and tungsten bronze electrode coated with solid polymer electrolyte. The former is for determination of blood glucose concentration and the latter is for functional electrical stimulation.

4차 산업혁명에 대한 보조공학사들의 인식 연구

This study is to examine the awareness of the 4th industrial revolution among assistive technology professionals as a preliminary study to explore the future direction disability and rehabilitation should continue forward in this new period. Survey was conducted to meet this objective among 69 assistive technology professionals in Korea. The major results of this study were as follow. Assistive technology professionals recognized that “the 4th industrial revolution” would give positive effects on the field of rehabilitation, yet they lack profound knowledge and professional education. Moreover, they learned the new revolution through news media and understood that the roles and capabilities of all rehabilitation specialists are significant in preparation for the next industrial revolution era. They were also aware that the field of rehabilitation based on the 4th industrial revolution will be helpful for all types of people with disabilities and the development and research on relevant programs and contents are needed. In conclusion, this study demonstrates the necessity of improving the field of rehabilitation and reinforcing abilities of rehabilitation specialists, providing necessary supporting evidence. 본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업혁명시대의 장애인 재활 분야가 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 할지 그 방안을 모색하기 위한 선행된 과제로 4차 산업혁명에 대한 보조공학사들의 인식을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 목적을 위해 전국 보조공학사 69명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 보조공학사들은 ‘4차 산업혁명’이 재활분야에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 인식하였으나, 이에 대한 이해 및 전문적 교육은 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 보조공학사들은 언론매체를 통해 4차 산업혁명을 알게 되었고, 4차 산업혁명 시대를 대비해 모든 재활 전문가들의 역할과 역량이 중요하다고 인식하였다. 또한 보조공학사들은 모든 유형의 장애인들에게 4차 산업혁명 기반 재활서비스가 유용할 것이며, 이를 위한 프로그램 및 콘텐츠 개발 및 연구가 필요하다고 인식하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 4차 혁명 시대를 맞아 재활분야의 발전 및 재활전문가 역량강화가 필요함을 시사하며, 이러한 지원에 필요한 근거 자료를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.
