        역 s-순으로 스캔된 주변 픽셀들에 존재하는 유사성과 에지 특성을 이용한 효율적인 픽셀 값 예측 기법

        In this paper, we propose an efficient pixel value prediction algorithm that can accurately predict pixel value ​​using neighboring pixel values ​​scanned in reverse s-order in the image. Generally, image has similarity with similar values ​​between adjacent pixel values, and may have directional edge characteristics. In this paper, we proposed a method to improve pixel value prediction accuracy by improving GAP(Gradient Adjacent Pixel) algorithm for predicting pixel value by using similarity between adjacent pixels and edge characteristics. The proposed method increases the accuracy of the predicted pixel value by precisely predicting the pixel value using the positional weights of the neighboring pixels. Experiments on real images confirmed the superiority of the proposed algorithm. The proposed algorithm is useful for applications such as reversible data hiding, reversible watermarking, and data compression applications. 본 논문에서는 영상에서 역 s-순으로 스캔된 주변 픽셀 값들을 이용하여 픽셀 값을 정밀하게 예측할 수 있는 효율적인 픽셀 값 예측 기법을 제안하였다. 영상에는 일반적으로 인접 픽셀 값들 사이에 비슷한 값을 갖는 유사성(similarity)이 존재하고, 방향성이 있는 에지 특성(directional edge characteristics)이 존재할 수 있다. 인접 픽셀간의 유사성과 에지 특성을 이용하여 픽셀 값을 예측하는 GAP(Gradient Adjacent Pixel) 기법을 개선하여 픽셀 값 예측 정확도를 향상시키는 기법을 본 논문에서 제안하였다. 제안된 기법에서는 주변 픽셀들의 위치별 가중치를 사용하여 픽셀 값을 정밀하게 예측하도록 함으로 예측 픽셀 값의 정확도를 증가시켰다. 실제 영상에 대한 실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 우수성을 확인하였다. 제안된 기법은 가역 데이터 은닉, 가역 워터마킹 및 데이터 압축 등의 응용들에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

        콘크리트 공극구조 분석을 위한 화상분석결과의 변동성 분석

        Recently, the cases of freeze-thaw distress on concrete pavement in domestic have been reported periodically. Hereupon, the necessity to establish the standard of spacing factor came to the fore. The test method for analyzing spacing factor is provided in the standard of ASTM C 457. Since researchers tend to judge study results subjectively, the results should be revised throughly. Image analysis program for determining the characteristics of air-void system on hardened concrete identify air void through the difference of a color. The pixel intensity values used in this program have a significant effect on the analysis results. This study compared the automated void count by varying pixel intensity values with the manual void count in order to determine the optimum range of pixel intensity values. Also, this study analyzed the air-void characteristics on eight kinds of concrete mixtures. In this study, it was confirmed that the variation of void counted manually was around 10% from the results of round robin test, and that the optimum range of pixel intensity values is around 80~90. And it was also confirmed that air content (as a whole) was increased generally and spacing factor was decreased by increasing air-entrainer content. But some concrete mixtures showed a tendency that air content was constant and spacing factor was decreased by increasing airentrainer content. This causes the air entrained by air-entrainer has more influence on spacing factor than air content. Also, the deviation of spacing factor by cutting position of concrete specimen was about 30~100㎛ because of the limit of 2-D image analysis. The additional study about variation of spacing factor by cutting position of concrete specimen will be performed later. 최근 국내 콘크리트포장의 동결융해 파손에 대한 사례들이 주기적으로 보고가 되고 있으며, 이에 공기량 기준과 더불어 간격계수에대한 기준마련 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 간격계수를 산정하기 위한 실험방법은 국내에 규정되어 있지 않아 ASTM C 457기준을 따라야 하며, 특히 이 실험결과 분석 시 연구자의 주관적 판단에 기인하는 경우가 많아 이에 대한 철저한 보정작업이 수반되어야 한다. 콘크리트의 공극구조 특성을 분석하기 위해 사용되고 있는 화상분석프로그램은 색상의 구분을 통해 공극을 인식하는데, 분석 시 사용되어지는 pixel intensity values에 따라 분석결과는 크게 변할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 pixel intensity values의 적정범위를 산정하기 위해서, pixel intensity values 변화에 따라 측정된 공극수와 연구자들이 측정한 공극수를 비교하였으며, 이를 통해 pixel intensity values의 적정 범위를 결정하였다. 또한 결정된 pixel intensity values를 이용하여, 8가지 콘크리트 혼합물에 대한 콘크리트 공극구조 특성을 분석하였다. 연구자들이 공극수를 직접 측정한 round robin test 결과, 사람에 따른 공극 인식정도가 약 10% 정도로 변동될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 pixel intensity values의 적정 범위가 약 80~90 정도로 나타났다. 8가지 콘크리트 혼합물에 대한 화상분석결과, 전반적으로 AE제 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 전체 공기량은 증가하고 간격계수는 감소하는 경향을나타내었으나, 일부 혼합물에서 공기량은 크게 변동하지 않은 가운데 간격계수가 AE제 증가에 따라 감소하는 추이를 나타내었다. 이는 추가된 AE제에 의해 발생된 미세한 크기의 연행공극이 전체 공기량에 미치는 영향보다 간격계수에 미치는 영향이 더 크기 때문이다. 또한 동일한 시편에서 절단면 위치에 따른 간격계수의 편차는 약 30~100㎛ 정도를 나타내었다. 이는 2차원 분석의 한계로 인해발생된 편차인 것으로 사료되며, 시편절단면 위치에 따른 변동성 분석을 위한 추가적인 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

        Dynamic range on the digital detector can be a representation to the ratio of maximum and minimum of pixel value. Wide dynamic range and post processing ability of the digital detector made difficult to recognize visually to high or low dose images. We were evaluated a change of mean pixel value on the original and processed image, when we controlled the kVp, mA, exposure time on the digital detector. On the kVp of a constant condition, we were acquired an original and processed image by changes of mA, exposure time. According to the thickness of the subject under the same conditions, to determine a relation of pixel value and X-ray intensity, we used an aluminum step wedge. When mA and exposure times were changed under the kVp of a constant condition, the X-ray intensity was decreased by the reduction of the mean pixel value. In addition when kVp was increased in a constant condition of mAs, the mean pixel value was increased according to the increment of the X-ray intensity. Therefore, low kVp, high mA and short exposure time were a way to reduce a patient dose.

        현대패션에 나타난 픽셀의 표현 경향과 특성

        This study examined the pixels expression trend and nature featured in contemporary fashion, which works as a basic unit symbolizing the digital image, paying attention to its formativeness. The work through this process aimed at suggesting an opportunity for recognition about pixel image utilized as a formative component beyond its simple meaning of unit and providing the fundamental materials for usage in creative fashion design reflecting the digital emotion in the future, In research method, literature review was followed on pixel and the empirical study about its image was also performed that was found in the modern fashion. As a result, the trend in pixel has these characteristics. Its first nature lies in its plane expression. It was printed as mosaic or graphic grid image or expressed through patchwork technique. Also, rather than a certain form or figure, its unique image was emphasized according to the applied color, size, and position. Second, a stepwise pattern in pixel was applied to external format for part of clothing, eye glass and necktie, indicating some interest and wit. Third, in application to plane and external shape, the graphically modernized effect was realized, not to mention the illusive image with cubic expression. As shown, the characteristics in contemporary fashion via pixel expression were given in fantastic image, optical humor, and reflection of digital value.

        닮은패턴을 이용한 중첩영상 소거 동영상 화면복원법

        본 논문에서는 MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) 영상 디코더에서 영상을 압축, 비교, 복원, 저장한후 디코딩 처리하는 방법을 종래의 픽셀 단위로 처리하는 방법과는 다르게 영상의 단위 화소 주변을 군집화소로 분류한 후 이를 클러스터링하여 오버랩정도를 결정 한다. 오버랩 정도의 임계치값을 결정하는데는 패턴식별을 취한후 샘플 패턴에 대한 기하구조의 파악과 결정함수의 도출로 활용된다. 특징공간이 4차원 이상이면 주어진 패턴 구조를 시각적으로 관찰할 수 없다. 이 때, 분포구조를 고찰해 볼수 있는 방법은 군집중심간의 거리, 군집별 패턴의 수 및 표준편차등을 이용하는 방법이다. 임계치 값을 넘는 중복화면은 소거되고 넘지않는 군집화면은 패턴인식으로 복원된후 동영상으로 구현된다. 이방법이 기존의 픽셀 단위 처리하는 방법 과는 20%정도의 메모리 감축과 15%정도의 화면 복원에 성능이 향상된 것으로 판정된다. In this paper,it is presented the method of image recovering which existing is only pixel processing, but suggesting method is concluding image clustering overlap degree after classfying around unit fixel to crowd pixel. Concluding overlap degree threshold value is after identifying pattern pixel and grasping geometry structure of sample pattern and deduction of deciding function. distinguishing feature space is above four dimension is reason of not visual observation of pattern structure. consideration of distribution structure is distance of center of crowd pixel, the number of each crowd pattern pixel and standard deviation. The over threshold value elimate the overlap image and the downward is recovered and established dynamic image. memory storage deduction of 20% and elevation of 15% performance is estimated in recovery of image.

        디지털 영상 픽셀값의 경사도를 이용한 Downscaling Forgery 검출

        스마트 기기와 소형 디스플레이에 사용되는 디지털 영상은 다운스케일링 (Downscaling)된 영상이 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 영상 픽셀값의 경사도에 따른 특징벡터를 이용한 다운스케일링 포저리 (Forgery) 영상 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘에서, 원영상의 픽셀값 경사도로부터 자기회귀 (AR: Autoregressive) 계수를 계산한다. 이는 다운스케일링 포저리 영상검출기의 SVM (Support Vector Machine) 분류를 위한 학습에 사용된다. 제안된 다운스케일링 검출 알고리즘은 동일 10-Dim. 특징벡터의 MFR (Median Filter Residual) 스킴과 686-Dim.의 SPAM (Subtractive Pixel Adjacency Matrix) 스킴과 비교하여 다운스케일링 90% 영상 포저리에서 성능이 우수하며, 평균필터링 (3×3) 영상과 미디언필터링 (3×3) 영상에서 높은 검출율을 보여 주었다. 특히, 평균필터링과 미디언필터링 영상에서는 성능평가 전체 항목에서 민감도 (Sensitivity; TP: True Positive rate)와 1-특이도 (1-Specificity; FP: False Positive rate)의 AUC (Area Under Curve)가 모두 1에 수렴하여 ‘Excellent (A)’ 등급임을 확인하였다. The used digital images in the smart device and small displayer has been a downscaled image. In this paper, the detection of the downscaling image forgery is proposed using the feature vector according to the pixel value"s gradients. In the proposed algorithm, AR (Autoregressive) coefficients are computed from pixel value"s gradients of the image. These coefficients as the feature vectors are used in the learning of a SVM (Support Vector Machine) classification for the downscaling image forgery detector. On the performance of the proposed algorithm, it is excellent at the downscaling 90% image forgery compare to MFR (Median Filter Residual) scheme that had the same 10-Dim. feature vectors and 686-Dim. SPAM (Subtractive Pixel Adjacency Matrix) scheme. In averaging filtering (3×3) and median filtering (3×3) images, it has a higher detection ratio. Especially, the measured performances of all items in averaging and median filtering (3×3), AUC (Area Under Curve) by the sensitivity and 1-specificity is approached to 1. Thus, it is confirmed that the grade evaluation of the proposed algorithm is "Excellent (A)".

        Data Hiding Technique using the Characteristics of Neighboring Pixels and Encryption Techniques

        In this paper, we propose a data hiding technique that effectively hides confidential data in the LSB of an image pixel by using the characteristics of the neighboring pixels of the image and the encryption techniques. In the proposed technique, the boundary surface of the image and the flat surface with little change in pixel values are investigated. At the boundary surface of the image, 1 bit of confidential data is encrypted and hidden in the LSB of the boundary pixel to preserve the characteristics of the boundary surface. In the pixels of the plane where the change in pixel value is small, 2 bits secret data is encrypted and hidden in the lower 2 bits of the corresponding pixel. In this way, when confidential data is hidden in an image, the amount of confidential data hidden in the image is greatly increased while maintaining excellent image quality. In addition, the security of hidden confidential data is strongly maintained. When confidential data is hidden by applying the proposed technique, the amount of confidential data concealed increases by up to 92.2% compared to the existing LSB method. The proposed technique can be effectively used to hide copyright information in commercial images.
