This study was to investigate the effects of whole body vibration exercise on body balance stability and lower segment movements in university judo player. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, judo player at Y universict, were selected at random and allocated 14 judo player each for the Non Exercise group(NEG), Deficient Exercise group(DEG), Over Exercise group(OEG) and measured body balance stability and lower segment movements before and after the experiment. The neuromuscular training program for 12 weeks. The results of this study were as follows: First, As a result of analyzing the change of body balance stability according to whole body vibration exercise, OEG was significantly improved compared to NEG and DEG. Second, As a result of analyzing the change of lower segment movements according to whole body vibration exercise, OEG was significantly improved compared to NEG and DEG. As conclusions, this study confirmed that the whole body vibration exercise on body balance stability and lower segment movements in university judo player. However, there is a need for more specific exercise programs to be developed for the continual improvement of athletic performance in athletics along with further studies to confirm the physiological benefits of those programs.

The purpose of this study is to measure and analyze changes in lower extremity edema, body stability and VAS among 17 standing workers(9 workers from a normal group and 8 workers from an obesity group) before work and after one-week work. The study findings are as follows. 1. When it comes to changes in lower extremity edema, both groups showed an increase in right and reft ankle circumferences after one-week work and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). 2. Compared to the normal group, right calf circumference increased to 3.07% in the obesity group and there were statistically significant differences(p<.01). Both groups showed statistically significant differences in left calf circumference(p<.01). 3. Both groups showed an increase in body stability and there were statistically significant differences(p<.05). Mostly, it increased to 25.89% more in the obesity group. 4. VAS increased to 116.54% in the normal group and 164.23% in the obesity group and statistically significant differences were found in both groups(p<.001). These findings demonstrate that lower extremity edema, body stability and VAS increased more among obesity standing workers, compared to the normal group. Therefore, it is considered that obesity standing workers need to improve dietary therapy, increase physical activity, wear elastic compression stocking or massage legs themselves and practice lower extremity exercise in daily life.

This study investigated the effects of self-myofascial release exercise using foam rolling on isokinetic muscular function of ankle joint and lower body stability for female soccer player's. Subjects were randomly alloted either to the experiment group (n=9) with self-myofacial release method and stretching program or the contrast group(n=8)with just stretching program. The changes in ankle joint isokinetic muscular function and lower body stability were measured. Asw a results, Maximum isokinetic muscular strength of experiment group significantly increased in dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of right ankle with angular velocity of 30°/sec; in eversion and dorsiflexion of right ankle with 120°/sec.; in dorsiflexion of right ankle with 180°/sec.; dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of left ankle with 180°/sec. And ankle joint strenghth ratio of experiment group significantly decreased in dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of right ankle with angular velocity of 30°/sec, and 180°/sec. Lower body stability for experiment group increased in anterior, posteolateral and postomedial movement. The deviation in Y-Balance test from left to right leg anterior and posteolateral movement significantly decreased in experiment group.

Unlike boy students, girl students usually stop growing at the age of 12-14, so an appropriate exercise program should be developed as they go on to the higher grades. Therefore, this study tried to find the effect of core stability exercise using unstable surfaces on the lower body alignment and balance capacity of children, targeting a total of 32 girl students in their 4th-6th grades of the elementary school, including 16 students in exercise group exercising two times a week for 24 weeks and 16 students in control group. In the leg flexion angle, leg tilt, calcaneal bone angle, clacaneal bone tilt and Pedalo score the exercise group showed a statistically significant difference between pre-exercise and post-exercise. The control group showed no significant difference between pre-exercise and post-exercise. Through this study, we could find that the participation in core stability exercise on unstable surfaces can bring many positive changes to the lower body alignment of elementary school students.
