        The Magnetic Field Dependence of the Semiconductor Materials(Ge) in the Square Well confinement Potential

        This paper proposes an application of artificial neural networks for analyzing electricity market that has insufficient information for calculating equilibrium. Neural networks are constructed and trained on two representative cases in the electricity market. One is for calculating equilibrium price in perfect competition market and the other is for determining whether the transmission congestion occurs. The neural network uses a multilayer structure and learns with backpropagation algorithms for training. The neural networks trained in the case studies calculate the market price with a high probability and also determines an occurrence of the transmission congestion accurately. We study optical quantum transition line shapes (QTLS) showing the absorption power and quantum transition line widths (QTLW) of an electron deformation potential phonon interaction system. In order to analyze quantum transfer, the QTLW and QTLS with the magnetic field dependence was compared in two transfer processes, I.e., intra-Land level transfer process. In order to apply quantum transport theory (QTR) to a system that confines electrons by a square well confining potential, the Liouville equation projected with the Equilibrium Average Projection Scheme (EAPS) was used.

        In this contribution, we attempted a theoretical analysis on the validity of the widely-accepted idea that rough and singular surfaces can coexist in a crystal at equilibrium. By manipulating the Cahn and Hoffman capillarity vector, the conclusion that a crystal at equilibrium should be composed either of singular surfaces or of rough ones was reached.

        Effect of Surface Energy Anisotropy on the Equilibrium Shape of Sapphire Crystal

        Using the two-dimensional Wulff plot, the equilibrium shape of a sapphire crystal was investigated as a function of surface energy anisotropy. Depending on the relative values of surface energy for various facet planes, the projected shape of equilibrium sapphire was determined to be rectangle, parallelogram, hexagon or octagon. The results are compared with the experimentally observed shapes of internal cavities of submicron range in sapphire single crystals.

      • 막 구조물의 초기형상해석과 형상데이터를 이용한 재단도

        Membrane structures, a kind of lightweight soft structural system, are used for spatial structures. The material property of the membrane has strong axial stiffness, but little bending stiffness. The design procedure of membrane structures are needed to do shape finding, stress-deformation analysis and cutting pattern generation. In shape finding, membrane structures are unstable structures initially. These soft structures need to be introduced initial stresses because of its initial unstable state, and happen large deformation phenomenon. Also there are highly varied in their size, curvature and material stiffness. So, the approximation inherent in cutting pattern generation methods is quite different. Therefore, in this study, to find the structural shape after large deformation caused by initial stress, we need the shape analysis considering geometric nonlinear term. And the geodesic line on surface of initial equilibrium shape and the cutting pattern generation using the geodesic line is introduced.

        A sectional analysis of trunk-lid is carried out by using the equilibrium approach based on the force balance together with geometric relations and plasticity theory. In computing a force balance equation, it is required to define a geometric curve approximating the shape of sheet metal at any step of deformation from the interaction between the die and the deformed sheet. The trunk-lid panel material is assumed to possess normal anisotropy and to obey Hill's new yield criterion. Deformation of each section of trunk-lid panel is simulated and composed to get the three-dimensional shape by using CAD technique. It was shown that the three-dimensional shape composition of the two-dimensional analysis.

        Interfacial Configurations of Lens-Shaped Particles

        We study the configuration behaviors of non-spherical lens-shaped particles at a fluid-fluid interface. The attachment energies of truncated spheres and biconvex particles are calculated numerically to determine the thermodynamically stable configuration of the particles at the interface. When the particle is rotated 180° perpendicular to the interface, two energy minima are observed in the attachment energy profile. One corresponds to equilibrium and the other to a metastable orientation. The high energy barrier between the two energy minima indicates that the particle with the metastable condition is not spontaneously converted to the equilibrium state, such that the interface adsorption and orientation behaviors of the particles are irreversible and are determined stochastically. A further comprehensive investigation of the interfacial pinning phenomena of the truncated or biconvex boundary and free-rotation of the particles is also performed for different wettability and geometric factors. This study offers simple design rules for the synthesis of anisotropic particles used as a solid surfactant.

        비선형 형상 탐색 기법에 따른 막구조물의 오차와 수렴성 평가에 관한 연구

        연성구조시스템 중 하나인 막 구조물은 대공간 구조물에 많이 사용되어진다. 막 구조물은 축강성이 강하고 휨강성이 매우 작은 재료로서 구조물의 설계는 강성구조물과는 달리 형상해석, 응력-변형해석 그리고 재단도 등의 일련의 과정을 필요로 한다. 막 구조물의 형상해석은 일반적으로 초기 불안정 상태의 막 면에 초기강성을 부여함으로서 평형상태에 이르게 되는 역학적 메커니즘을 가지고 있으며, 이와 같은 곡면을 해석적으로 구하는 데는 해석상의 수렴 및 발산 그리고 오차 발생에 따른 문제를 해결해야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 막 구조물의 초기곡면을 형성하기 위한 형상탐색기법에 대한 수렴 및 오차에 관하여 연구하고, 적용된 예제의 해석 결과를 바탕으로 해가 수렴해 가는 과정 및 제어변수에 따른 수렴속도 및 효율성을 살펴본다.         The Temperature Dependence of the Quantum Transition Properties of the Quasi-two-dimensional System in Quasi-two-dimensional Semiconductors

        Abstract-We investigated theoretically the temperature dependence of the quantum optical transition of quasi-2-dimensional Landau splitting, in GaN and GaAs. We apply the quantum transport theory (QTR) to a system of electrons confined in a potential. We use the projected Liouville equation method with equilibrium average projection scheme (EAPS). Through the analysis of this work, we found increasing optical quantum transition line shapes (QTLSs) and the quantum transition line widths (QTLWs) in GaN and GaAs with increasing temperature. We also found the temperature dependences of the scattering factor functions: γ(T) of GaN < γ(T) of GaAs in the temperature region 50 K < T and γ(T) of GaAs < γ(T) of GaN in the temperature T < 50 K and λ = 394 µm.

        The Magnetic Field Dependence Properties of Quasi Two Dimensional Electron-piezoelectric Potential Interacting System in GaN and ZnO

        We investigated theoretically the magnetic field dependence of the quantum optical transition of qusi 2-Dimensional Landau splitting system, in GaN and ZnO. We apply the Quantum Transport theory (QTR) to the system in the confinement of electrons by square well confinement potential. We use the projected Liouville equation method with Equilibrium Average Projection Scheme (EAPS). Through the analysis of this work , we found the increasing properties of the optical Quantum Transition Line Shapes(QTLSs) which show the absorption power and the Quantum Transition Line Widths(QTLWs) with the magnetic-field in GaN and ZnO. We also found that QTLW, γ (B)total of GaN <γ(B)total of ZnO in the magnetic field region B < 25 Tesla.
