      • The Impact of University Sports to Social Development

        Purpose: The health is the basic condition of human existence. As an important part of education and sport, university sport has the vital significance for students` personal growth and social development. This study has the objective in looking at promoting healthy development of university sports and the development of society economy, politics and culture. Method: The methods used in the study are the Literature research and the qualitative analysis and the comprehensive analysis. The reason that three methods were used is to clearly interpret the influence of university sports to social development, and then discuss how to develop university sport. Result: Because sports has become a demand of modern life, so university spots can effect modern society economy, politics and culture in its own way. Firstly, university sports can not only improve people`s physical quality, but also can improve people`s psychological quality such as cultivating strong will and noble moral sentiment, coordinating interpersonal relationship and enhancing the social adaptation ability in order to providing high-quality talents for the society development. Secondly, university spots can promote the development of economy. On the one hand, the healthy body itself is a kind of economic resources that can improve the work efficiency and reduce the probability of illness at the same time, and then reduce the expense of medical expenses. On the other hand, the research achievements in the field of university spot such as the sport scientific research products and exploitation of sport equipment can be quickly converted into social productivity, create material wealth for the society. Thirdly, university spot has a strong radiation to the society culture. For example, it can enrich people`s cultural entertainment life, shape a healthy life attitude and positive life-style and then cultivate university students` positive outlook on life and world view. At the same time, the university sports can make students to promote the development of family sports in the future and make family life more colorful. In addition, university spots is a bond of emotion communication that play an important role in promoting the world peace and stability because it can reunite all university athletes to deepen the understanding of each other`s culture and enhance the friendship Conclusion: The development of university spots directly affect the global development, so it is necessary to promote the healthy development of university spots. Firstly, university spots should cultivate students` consciousness and habit of physical exercise with lifetime sports as the guiding ideology. Secondly, reforming teaching contents and teaching pattern of university sports to enhance the practicability of teaching content and improve the students` cognitive level and knowledge structure in sports. Meanwhile, increasing the interesting and entertainment of university sports, thus increasing the participation of students` sports consumption now and in the future. Thirdly, optimizing the structure and system construction of university sports from in-class to after-class and from inside of university to outside of university in order to improve the quality of university sports. Finally, increasing the funds investment to relieve the present situation about the strain on sports resources in universities and the lack of venues and equipment, then improving teaching environment of university sports.

        대학생의 자아탄력성과 인성함양의 관계에서 대학생활적응의 매개효과

        본 연구의 목적은 대학생활적응이 자아탄력성과 인성함양 간의 관계에서 매개 역할을 하는지 검증하는 것이다. 즉, 대학생활적응이 자아탄력성이 인성함양에 미치는 영향을 설명하는 요인인지 조사하고자 하였다. 이런 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 대학생들을 연구 대상으로 선택하고, 위계적 회귀분석, 부트스트래핑, Sobel 테스트를 사용하여 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대학생들의 자아 탄력성, 인성함양과 대학생활적응이 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생들의 자아탄력성은 대학생활적응과 인성함양에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 대학생활적응도 인성함양에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자아탄력성은 대학생활적응을 통해 인성함양에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대학생들의 자아탄력성과 인성함양의 관계에서 대학생활적응이 모두 매개변인으로 작용하였다. 대학교에서 학생들의 자아탄력성과 인성함양을 강화하는 프로그램을 개발하고, 학생들의 개별 요구를 파악하여 맞춤형 학습 지원, 심리 상담, 신체 건강 프로그램을 제공함으로써 대학생활적응을 개선하고 대학생의 인성을 발전시킬 수 있다는 결론을 얻을 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine whether university students' adjustment to university life plays a mediating role in the relationship between self-efficacy and character development. To achieve this research objective, university students were selected as the participants, and hierarchical regression analysis, bootstrapping, and Sobel tests were conducted for data analysis. The results of the study are as follows: There was a statistically significant positive correlation between university students' self-efficacy, character development, and adjustment to university life. Self-efficacy significantly influenced both adjustment to university life and character development, and adjustment to university life also had a significant influence on character development. Self-efficacy was found to indirectly influence character development through adjustment to university life. Furthermore, adjustment to university life acted as a mediator in the relationship between self-efficacy and character development for university students. It can be concluded that developing programs to enhance self-efficacy and character development among university students, and providing tailored learning support, psychological counseling, and physical health programs based on individual needs, can improve university students' adjustment to university life and foster their character development.

      • Building an Eco-city:university Dragon Boat Racing"s Effect and Self-development----Case Study of Jimei district in Xiamen, China

        Purpose: the effect of university sport has always been ignored by people, while in fact it really has a deep and wide effect to the area around the university. There are several famous universities in Jimei district, Xiamen, China, dragon boat racing has already become an important part of university sport in these universities, people not only students but also local people, tourists all attracted by the exciting chinese traditional sports game. This study has the objective to explore the effects that the university sport----university dragon boat racing provides to build the eco-city, analyze its social, economical, educational and cultural functions and find a good way for its own development in the process of building the eco-city. Method: The methods used in the study are field research, literature review and expert interview. The methods used here is to review the former research for finding the experience and to find the real function of university dragon boat racing for building the eco-city. Result: university dragon boat racing is not only a school game affecting the schools where it played, which is also a game affecting the area around the university. The effect includes social area, cultural environment, education and economical development. All these parts are the element of eco-environment, so the racing has great effect to eco-environment. Just because of these effects, the society made a good environment for the development of university dragon boat racing. For developing university dragon boat racing well, it should find a suitable way to match the city``s image and explore the culture value. university dragon boat racing is also a way for education, teaching the tradional culture. Conclusion: Firstly, the university dragon boat racing has great effect for building the eco-city, which has social function, educational function, cultural function and economical function. Secondly, to fulfill these function, university dragon boat racing should find its own way both for its self-development and affecting the environment.

      • Barriers and Problems: How to Develop University Sport in China

        Purpose: Some experiences and lessons has been obtained since 1986,when china begin to develop university sports and hold the related games. While there are still some problems need to solve in the development of university sports in China. In the new condition of education and spot system’s reform, we have to answer these questions, how to develop university sport, how to understand the role of university sport what is the purpose of university sport, what are the main factors in the development of college sport. Method: literature review, expert interview and questionnaire survey. Conclusion: first, The important role of university sport is helping improve the development of university, attracting more people participate in sport, constructing the college culture and bringing economical benefits to university. Second, due to the sport management system’s reform, there is a good environment for the development of university sport in china. Third, the inside environment is vital to china’s university sport, the management framwork is so symple and lack of management and laws. Forth, there are some problems in athletes students, they always have problems in study and job finding, so there are should be some changes in recruiting and cultivating these students.

        基于区域经济发展视域下的地方高校发展定位及机制研究 - 以长吉图开发开放先导区战略下的延边大学为例

        With the development of the knowledge and economy, the relationship between regional economic development and local universities has become closer. They are both interdependent and inter growth. With the regional economy development and the formation of its own economic characteristics, there is an urgent need for cooperation with higher education. However, there are some problems in the development positioning of some local universities, such as blind development goals, lack of school-running characteristics, profit-seeking of education function and confused service-oriented. Therefore, the author would study form the problems, take Yanbian University as an example, and put forward the reasonable development mechanism research on the basis of the analysis of the localization of him local universities. To set development goals that are in line with reality and within the limits of our capabilities, school-running characteristics of inheriting culture and innovative development, educational function of all-round development, make local universities clarify their service targets and serve the local economy better. Establishes service-oriented industry-university-research cooperation mechanism and a teacher evaluation mechanism of emphasizing difference and seeking development. So as to achieve the goal of local economic development and local universities joint promotion and mutual development. As a local universities, Yanbian university can build a highland for training talents in the Tumen River region and a base for talent and technology export at all levels, and Developmentally achieve the overall sharing of educational resources. Promote the development of the local economy to the greatest extent, so as to achieve the goal of mutual promotion and development between the local economy and local universities.

        대학의 비교과교육과정 개발⋅운영 모형 연구

        목적 본 연구의 목적은 대학의 비교과교육과정 개발⋅운영 모형에 대한 연구를 통해 각 대학에서 비교과교육과정을 운영할 때,대 학의 특성을 반영하여 체계적으로 비교과교육과정을 개발⋅운영하는 것에 있다. 방법 연구 방법의 절차는 연구 기획, 문헌 연구, 모형 개발의 단계로 진행되었다. 연구 기획 단계는 Taba(1962)의 교육과정 개발 모형을 토대로 대학의 비교과교육과정 개발⋅운영 모형을 기획하였으며, 문헌 연구 단계는 비교과, 비교과활동, 비교과교육과정등과 관련된 선행 연구, 교육과정개발 모형, 모형 연구, 교육과정 개발과 관련된 단행본, 연구 논문 등을 수집 및 분석하였다. 모형 개발 단계는 교육과정의 근간인 교육과정 모형, 교육과정 개발 모형 등을 바탕으로 시사점 추출하였으며, 교육과정 전문가의 타당성 검토를 거쳐 모형을 확정하였다. 결과 대학의 비교과교육과정 개발⋅운영 모형은 총 4단계로 설정되었으며, 각 단계는 1. 대학의 비교과교육과정 제안 및 기획, 2. 대학의 비교과교육과정 계획, 3. 대학의 비교과교육과정 실행 및 운영, 4. 대학의 비교과교육과정 평가 및 환류로 구성하였다. 각 단계를 다시 하위 5가지 세부 영역으로 설정하였으며, 이는 각각 ①주체, ②시기, ③토대, ④방법, ⑤모형으로 구성하였다. 결론 비교과교육과정의 설치 및 운영의 이유는 핵심역량을 지닌, 대학과 사회에서 필요한 인재를 양성하는 것으로서, 앞으로 대학에서 비교과교육과정은 전공이나 교양교육과정과 마찬가지로 단계와 절차에 따라 개발 및 운영되어야 한다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to help universities systemically develop and operate extracurricular curriculum that can reflect their own characteristics, through research on a development and management model for extracurricular curriculum activities. Methods The steps of research were progressed with three stages: research planning, literature review and the model development. Based on the Taba’s(1962) curriculum development model, the research planning stage planned the extracurricular curriculum development and operation model of the university. The literature research stage collected and analyzed the extracurricular, extracurricular activities, extracurricular curriculum which were related to the pilot study, curriculum development model, model research, curriculum development the research paper and also were related to the books and research papers. The model development stage based on the curriculum model and the curriculum development model which are the foundation of curriculum brought out the implication and the model was confirmed after a feasibility study by a expert of curriculum. Results The management and development model for extracurricular curriculums consists of four stages: 1. Drafting a proposal and planning of university extracurricular curriculums; 2. crafting detailed plans for each extracurricular curriculum activity; 3. executing and operating the extracurricular curriculum activities; and 4. evaluating and assessing university extracurricular curriculums. Each stage is comprised of five different sub-categories, such as ① subject, ② period, ③ foundation, ④ method, and ⑤ model. Conclusions The reason for the establishment and operation of the extracurricular curriculum is to instill students with the university’s core values and help them become competent members of society and the university. Therefore, the university extracurricular curriculum must be developed and operated according to the stages and procedures as in the required and elective curriculum.

        Goals, components, and factors considered in university development

        It is generally known that the general goals of universities are to produce high-quality graduates for the job market, to continuously advance the frontier of knowledge in all the disciplines, and ultimately to advance human civilization. There can, however, be numerous specific goals which differ from one university to the other. Whatever it is, in order to achieve the desired goals, universities need to design a realistic strategic development plan, which must include, among others, the important logistical components and factors of university development. In Malaysia, little is known about university development planning process as a subject area. Annual reports and calendars published by universities do not provide sufficient information about the elements and aspects of high priorities in their strategic development plan. As such, we decided to conduct a study on eleven (11) foremost public universities in Malaysia-a country with a centralized education system-in order to examine the goals, components, and factors considered by university top-management in planning university development. We administered a checklist to 296 respondents, comprising deputy vice-chancellors or deputy rectors, registrars, deans, and directors. The checklist required the respondents to rate the consideration level on a scale of 1 (least considered) to 5 (highly considered) for each of the items on goals, components, and factors. This article reports the main findings of our study. Among other things, the most obvious result revealed by the study was that universities were very concerned with the relevancy of academic programs offered and their performance in research. It was rather surprising, however, that the top-management of public universities in Malaysia placed the goal of providing quality infrastructure and facilities at the lowest ranking. Also, this study revealed that the government, as a factor, exerted its prominence only in terms of university budget and research grants and the execution of some policies of national interest, but university expansion and development was largely driven by the university organization itself, i.e., on where, what, and how it wants to expand and grow. In this regard, public universities in Malaysia still enjoy a large degree of academic autonomy and a strong support by the government.

        각국의 경제발전 수준과 대학생 창업의지 사이의 관계에 관한 탐색적 연구

        본 연구는 경제발전 수준과 대학생 창업의지 사이의 관계를 논의하기 위해, Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey(GUESSS)의 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 많은선행연구가 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor(GEM)의 일반 성인 대상 자료를 기준으로 연구를 진행한 것과 비교하여, 미래의 주축으로서 대학생 창업의지에 특화된 연구를 진행하는 데 있다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 첫째, 저소득 국가와고소득 국가 대학생들의 창업의지를 비교함으로써 두 집단 간 창업의지의 차이를 검증하고, 둘째, 경제발전 수준과대학생 창업의지 간의 U자형 관계에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 저소득 국가와 고소득 국가 간 대학생 창업의지에차이가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 경제발전 수준과 대학생 창업의지 간 비선형 관계 분석을 통해 두 변수 사이에U자형 관계가 존재함을 실증하였다. 본 연구는 경제발전 수준과 대학생 창업의지 간 U자형 관계를 확인한 많지 않은연구 중 하나로 본 연구의 결과는 연구자들에게 대학생 창업의지에 대한 거시적 환경요인의 이해를 높일 뿐만 아니라, 정책입안자들에게 경제발전의 시기에 따른 대학생 창업정책의 방향을 제시하고 있다. U자형 관계를 근거로 후진국과개발도상국의 정책입안자들은 대학생들이 창업에 긍정적 인식을 유지할 수 있도록 다양한 인센티브를 마련하는 한편, 선진국의 경우 다양한 분야에서 기회추구형 창업을 촉진하기 위한 맞춤형 창업교육 프로그램을 마련해 나가는 노력이 필요하다. Introduction : This study investigated the relationship between economic development and entrepreneurial intention of university students using data from the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS). The study aimed to provide a more nuanced understanding of the relationship between economic development and entrepreneurial intention by focusing on university students, who are the future of entrepreneurship. Methodology : This study used data from the 2021 GUESSS survey. The dependent variable is entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial intention was measured using a scale that asked students how likely they were to start a business immediately after graduation and 5-year after graduation, respectively. The independent variable is economic development. Economic development was measured in GDP per capita of each country. The study used a two-step approach to analyze the data. In the first step, T-test was used to compare entrepreneurial intention between students from low-income countries and students from high-income countries. In the second step, a nonlinear regression analysis was applied to examine the U-shaped relationship between entrepreneurial intention and economic development. Results : The study found that there was a significant difference in entrepreneurial intention between students from low-income countries and students from high-income countries. This difference was observed for both immediate post-graduation and 5-year post-graduation entrepreneurial intention. In addition, the study found that a U-shaped relationship existed between entrepreneurial intention and economic development for both immediately after graduation and 5-year after graduation entrepreneurial intention. Implication : The study is the first case to find U-shaped relationships between economic development and entrepreneurial intention of university students and provide new insights into the relationship. The findings of this study are significant for both researchers and policymakers. For researchers, the findings provide a more comprehensive understanding of the macro-environmental factors that influence entrepreneurial intention. For policymakers, the findings suggest that different youth entrepreneurship policies are needed at different stages of economic development. In developing countries, where the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and economic development is negative, policymakers should focus on providing incentives for young people to maintain a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship. In developed countries, where the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and economic development is positive, policymakers should focus on providing tailored entrepreneurship education programs to promote entrepreneurship and building a quality entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports opportunity-based entrepreneurship for young people.

        교육대학의 지속가능 발전 가능성 탐색

        Aims to finds how the key concepts of sustainable development, with focuses on the ecological, economical, managerial, and higher education dimensions, can be applied theoretically in elementary teacher`s university. This paper reviews key competencies for sustainable development to find the meaningful sustainability for elementary teacher`s university. The paper describes briefly the history of the environmental, economical, and managerial discourse in sustainable development. To present discrepancy in interpretation of sustainable development, the paper compares environmental, economical, and managerial discourses with higher education discourse. As results, this research found the conceptual values for sustainable development in unique teacher`s university for elementary teacher. The values are followings: First, sustainable development of higher education is different from that of the other majors in pursuing of social value. Second, basic assumptions should be achieved for sustainable development in elementary teacher`s university. Third, localization, specialization and allied majoring in the university should be strengthened for sustainable development. Fourth, course structure of the university should be presented to strengthen the role model of sustainable learning system under considering of local and social value. Finally, this research are likely to foster creative approaches to educational sustainability beyond the unique teacher`s university for elementary teacher

        교육대학교-부설초등학교 간 PDS(교사전문성개발체제) 협력에 관한 인식과 실태 조사: 교육대학교 교수를 중심으로

        This study analyzed the perception of university faculty on a university-school collaboration in terms of teachers' professional development and the establishment of a professional development system. It had been conducted for three weeks in 11 National Universities of Education from April 23 to May 11, 2011 throughout the country. The subjects of this study was 875 and the returned responses were 273. With the returned response,this study analyzed 6 domains: mutual collaboration, pre-service teacher education, teachers' professional development and open class, an establishment of a professional development system, mutual benefits and personal information through a university-school collaboration. In an analysis of the survey data, this study provided how university faculty perceived a university-school collaboration and how a university-school collaboration could lead teachers' professional development and contributed to establishing professional development system. At the same time, it also provided an opportunity for both university faculty and school staffs to articulate a new possibility for a school reform and to develop systemic thinking about a culture of continuous improvement in education. 본 연구는 교육대학과-부설초등학교 간 PDS (전문성 개발체제) 협력에 관한 실태 조사를 통해대학교수들이 가지고 있는 두 기관간의 협력에대한 인식을 분석하였다. 전국에 분포되어 있는11개 교육대학교(제주 교육대학 포함)해서 2011년4월 23일부터 동년 5월 11일까지 총 3주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였고 설문조사 대상자총 875명 273명의 응답을 중심으로 6개 영역(상호 협력, 예비교사 교육, 교사의 전문성과수업 공개, 전문성 개발체제 구축, 상호 협력을 통해서 얻게 될 이점과 인적사항)에 대한분석을 하였다. 설문분석을 통해서 본 연구는 대학교수들의 대학-학교간 협력에 대한 인식과 대학-학교간 협력을 통해서 교사의 전문성 개발과 전문성 개발체제 구축의 가능성에 대해서 기술하였다. 더불어대학교수와 교사들이 학교개혁에 대한 새로운 가능성을 확인하고 지속적인 교육문화 개선을 위한체계적인 사고를 발전시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다.
