오브제를 활용한 헤어 조형작품

21세기는 예술,문화가 상호보완적 관계로 다원주의(多元主義) 현상이 일어나 장르의 경계가 해체되는 새로운 문화가 형성되고 있다. 그러나 조형예술(造型藝術)이며, 부용예술(附傭藝術)인 헤어미용은 모발이라는 소재 제한의 한계에 부딪치고 있으며 이를 극복하기 위해 헤어디자이너의 새로운 디자인 개발과 감각적인 창의성을 필요로 하고 있다. 이러한 욕구충족을 위해 헤어디자이너들은 미술사 조를 통해 여러 형태의 영역으로 표현하고 있으며, 이를 통해 새로운 조형예술로서의 영역으로 확대, 확산되고 있다. 그 중 오브제는 예술분야에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있으며 소재의 제한을 받지 않아 새로운 형태의 조형 예술의 영역으로 재탄생시킴과 동시에 창의적 디자인 개발에 영향을 주었다. 이에 본 연구는 무한한 창작의 가능성 가지고 있는 오브제와 헤어미용을 적용시켜 호기심을 자극하여 재 해석함으로서, 헤어디자이너에게는 창의성과 디자인 개발의 동기부여 및 욕구충족, 대중에게는 미용이라는 장르의 예술적 가치를 소통할 수 있는 새로운 가능성을 모색하고자 한다. 연구방법으로 일상생활에서 사용되는 오브제(Object)를 이용하여 헤어의 크리에이티브(Creative), 헤어바이나이트(Hair by Night), 업스타일(Up Style), 커트(Cut), 퍼머넌트웨이브(Permanent Wave)의 작품을 헤어디자인 요소와 디자인 원리에 입각하여 분석, 제작 하였다. 연구결과로는 소재 제한된 헤어미용을 오브제를 이용하여 장르를 탈피한 새로운 방법으로 조형적 접근을 시도함으로서 창의성을 재발견 하였으며, 헤어디자인의 3요소에 입각한 작품을 통해 디자인 원리의 속성을 발견할 수 있었다. 또한 오브제를 통하여 뷰티아트를 재조명하여 아름다움을 표현함으로서 오브제의 활용 가능성을 확대 시켰으며, 헤어 조형예술로서의 창의적인 디자인 개발 가능성과 영감을 통한 창조적인 새로운 시도가 이루어 질 것으로 기대된다. A pluralism phenomenon is occurring due to the complementary relationship between art and culture in the 21st century, and so the boundary of genre is breaking up to form new cultures. But hair beauty, formative art and stylish art, is reaching the restrictive limit of hair. To get over this, hair designers need to develop their new design and sensible creativity. They are expressing in the several areas through the trend of art to satisfy their desires. And hair beauty is expanded into the area as formative art. An object is a big part in the area of art. It is adapted into the area of new modeling art without the constraint of materials, and it influences the development of creative design at the same time. The purpose of this study is to find new ways, which hair designers can develop their design and creativity and satisfy their desires, and which the public can interact with the artistic value of beauty by reinterpreting an object through the application of an object with the infinite potentials of creation to hair beauty. To achieve this, an object was used to analyze and produce the works of Hair Creative, Hair-by-Night, Up-style, Cut and Permanent Wave using an object in everyday life based on the elements of hair design and the principles of hair design. The study results showed that design designers rediscovered their creativity by using an object for material-restricted hair beauty to take a formative approach to new ways beyond genre. They could discover the attributes of design principles through the works based on 3 elements of hair design. And they expanded the applicability of an object by reviewing hair design through an object to express the beauty. It is expected that new attempts will be made to develop their creative designs as hair modeling art by inspiration.

페이퍼 커트 아웃 기법을 활용한 헤어일러스트레이션 연구

Hair illustrations are artistically changing with much broader aspects beyond its simple functional purpose for hair style designs. They are widely used and developed in various information media and art fields, and to keep pace with changes of the times, hair illustrations require new techniques through which they can express formative and unique artistry beyond simple expressions. Thus, by examining hair illustration works made through paper cut-out technique, this study aims to expand the domain of hair illustration expression techniques. Particularly, this study theoretically considered hair illustrations through literature review and produced hair illustration works based on the results. As for theoretical backgrounds, this study classified hair illustrations by characteristics and examined paper cut-out as a technique used to produce creative artworks. As for the work production, this study adopted a technique good enough to maximize the cubic effect with light-and-shade contrast and lighting out of all the paper cut-out techniques when producing 4 pieces of hair illustration works. Besides, this study made face & hair diagrams by using geometric and simplified forms and repeated design elements, and then engraved parts that were intended to contrast and emphasize. Overall, with a new expression method through paper cut-out technique developed for hair illustrations, this study has significance in enhancing the applicability and value of hair illustrations by creating a new formative world with this creative and original technique for hair illustrations. 헤어일러스트레이션은 헤어스타일디자인을 위한 단순한 기능적 의미에서 폭넓은 의미로의 예술적 변화를 시도하고 있다. 각종 정보매체와 다양한 예술영역에서 활용되며 발전해 나가고 있으며, 시대의 변화에 따라 단순한 표현으로써의 헤어일러스트레이션만이 아닌 조형적이며 독특한 예술성을 표현할 수 있는 새로운 기법이 요구되고 있다. 이에 페이퍼 커트 아웃 기법을 활용한 헤어일러스트레이션 작품을 연구하여 헤어일러스트레이션 표현 기법의 영역을 확대하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 문헌조사에 의한 이론적 고찰과 그것을 토대로 한 작품을 제작하였다. 이론적 배경으로는 헤어일러스트레이션을 각 특성에 따라 분류하고 창의적 예술작품 제작을 위한 기법으로 페이퍼 커트 아웃을 살펴보았다. 작품 제작은 페이퍼 커트 아웃 기법 중 명암의 대비와 조명에 의한 입체감을 극대화시킬 수 있는 기법을 사용하여 4점의 작품을 제작하였다. 얼굴과 헤어를 기하학적이며 단순화된 형태와 반복된 디자인 요소를 활용하여 도안을 만들고 대비와 강조하고자 하는 곳을 투각하였다. 본 연구 결과 헤어일러스트레이션을 페이퍼 커트 아웃 기법을 통해 새로운 표현 방법을 개발함으로써 헤어일러스트레이션의 독창적이며 창의적 기법으로 새로운 조형세계를 만들어 예술작품으로써의 가능성과 가치를 높이는데 의의가 있다.

모발길이에 따른 디자인 연출 비교 분석에 관한 연구

미용예술은 가치창조의 행위이며 감각적인 예술 활동과 인체에 직접 시술하는 고난위도의 창의력과 직관을 필요로 한다. 고도의 숙련된 기술과 경험이 필요한 실질적 상업적인 작업으로 아름다워 지고자하는 욕망과 꿈을 실현시켜주는 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 디자이너들은 모발길이에 따른 디자인연출에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 헤어바이나이트와 업스타일의 이론적 고찰과 디자인 발상. 디자인의 전개 과정. 제작기법 등을 연구하여 유사성과 차이점의 상관관계 비교 분석들이 포함되어진다. 업스타일과 헤어바이나이트 스타일의 비교를 위해 파팅, 칼라, 셋팅도구, 고정위치, 디자인을 동일조건에 의해 작품을 연출하였다. 또한 구도, 모발의 방향성, 고정위치, 칼라표현, 무게감, 질감, 율동감, 매끈도, 균형감, 조화미등을 비교분석의 전 과정을 체계적으로 정리하였다. 본 연구의 결과로서 숏트헤어를 헤어바이나이트 작품에 적용하여 롱헤어의 업스타일을 연출하면서, 짧은 모발을 소재로 올림머리는 어렵다는 상식을 깨고 쉽게 공유할 수 있도록 작품을 비교 제작하였고, 헤어 디자인의 요소들은 살롱 스타일로 이어지면서 최상의 기교와 함께 업스타일과 헤어바이나이트의 비교 분석을 통하여 교육 자료와 실용 예술의 기능을 제안하고, 새로운 형태의 디자인 창작 및 연출에 관한 정보들을 제공하고 있다. Beauty art that is the sensuous art work in the human body directly and the work of worth-creation needs high-creation and intuition. Also it is the essential commercial work which is the part of the realizing dream to be good-looking desires of people needed high skilled technique and experience. Therefore hair designers are more interested in the hair design to the different hair-length. Up-style and hair-by-night with same conditions which are the hair parting, color, setting implements, fixing position, same hair design. Also did comparative analyses what are structure, direction, fixing position, color expression, weight, texture, movement, glossy, balance, harmony and then arranged full processes. This study to research the theoretical consideration of hair-by-night and up-style, design ideas, design process and the styling technique is included the comparative analysis of a similarity and correlation. As for the result of this study, it is applied the hair-by-night to the short hair style like long hair up-style, this study broke common sense like up-style is difficult and made the comparative hair style for sharing it easily. Hair design`s elements of salon styles are suggested education materials and practical art technique through the best up-style and hair-by-night technique also gave the design creation of the new shape and the information of hair styling.

큐비즘 회화를 응용한 조형작품연구

현대 헤어디자인은 기능성과 예술성을 동시에 추구하면서 자신만의 창조성, 개성 표출을 위하여 조형예술과의 끊임없는 교류를 시도하고 있다. 헤어디자인의 표현도 결국은 인간을 주제로 하는 것이라는 점에서 인간의 내적이미지 세계를 표현하는 예술과 연관성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 큐비즘을 모티브로 아크릴과 목재를 소재로 사용하여 헤어 조형작품을 제작하였다. 작품은 Civilization, Electromagnetic Wave, Structure Essence 3작품을 제작 수록하여 조형예술로서의 헤어아트와 미래 헤어아트의 향방을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이상의 연구와 작품제작을 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 회화 모티브를 그대로 재현한 사례들은 많았지만 큐비즘의 이론을 응용한 작품 선행연구 수집의 부족함을 느꼈다. 둘째, 틀에 박힌 고정된 시선을 자유로운 여러 개의 시점으로 대체함으로써 예술의 표현영역의 다양성을 추구하였다. 셋째, 큐비즘의 회화 작품은 직선과 사선들에 의해 화면이 분할되고 그 분할된 면들이 대상에 대한 작가의 순수한 표현의지를 통해 하나의 형태로 조합됨을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 큐비즘의 회화 작품에 나타난 여러 가지 조형성은 이미 건축, 의상, 등에 응용되었고 디자이너의 감성에 녹아 표현되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다섯째, 큐비즘 이론을 응용해서 만든 헤어아트 조형작품들의 무한한 생명력은 우리의 삶을 즐겁고 풍요롭게 해주며 빛을 이용한 헤어아트 작품을 생명력의 발산을 이미지화 하였다. 큐비즘 회하는 전 생애를 걸쳐 다양한 양식이 나타나는 만큼 본 연구에서 다룬 큐비즘 회화뿐 아니라 다른 시대의 회화들도 헤어아트의 도입요소가 많음으로 앞으로 이에 대한 후속 연구가 이루어지길 기대한다. Contemporary hair design has continually interacted with formative arts to promote one`s creativity and individuality while pursuing functional and artistic value. Hair design is closely aligned with the arts in that it too is a form of expressing a person`s internal imagery. In this aspect, this research with cubism as the motive, used acrylic and wood as the medium to produce a molded sculpture. The purpose of this piece is in proposing a new direction of hair art and its future through a three-piece production including Civilization, Electromagnetic Wave, and Structure Essence. The conclusion of the above mentioned research is as follows. First, there are many examples that use art form as the motive but there was a considerable amount of difficulty finding precedent cases that applied the theory of cubism. Second, boxed in viewpoints were replaced with varying points to promote a diverse representation of art. Third, cubism art pieces have divided the display through linear and diagonal lines, allowing the author to express one`s pure motives into forming one piece of artwork. Fourth, the formativeness evident in various cubism artwork have been implemented in construction, fashion, etc. with the designer`s sentiments embodied into the artwork. Fifth, the boundless vital energy inherent in the hair art pieces made by utilizing the theory of cubism has stirred delight and abundance in our lives while the hair art using light has produced an image of bursting energy. Since cubism artwork appear in varying styles over one`s lifetime, further research of artwork of other eras other than the ones mentioned in this research is highly anticipated.

프로그레시브 헤어 컬러 디자인 연구 - 몬드리안의 작품을 중심으로 -

Mondrian, an artist who represents the abstract art in 20th century, expressed abstracted beauty using horizontal lines, vertical lines, primary colors and achromatic color. Presentment of color position in the combination of several lines and plane at his artworks created beauty of geometric proportion. The pattern in the his artworks has been changed from naturalistic painting to abstract painting. Coloring in the hair design is an important part of standing out the form and it is the field of possibility to present diverse attempt and expression. The purpose of this research is an artistic approaching in the hair design which is inspired by Mondrian's artworks for suggesting various color design of hair style. Also, to apply color design for progressive cut style of hair competition, analyzes the lines, plane and posion and proportion of color and the beauty of harmony in the Mondrian's artworks and identifies characteristics of change process. Moreover, through this artistic design approaching, to enhance aesthetic value of beauty art field with suggesting new ideas and directions of color design for progressive cut style of hair competition. 몬드리안은 20세기 추상미술을 대표하는 작가로서 수평선과 수직선, 삼원색과 무채색을 사용하여 추상적인 조형미를 표현하였다. 그의 작품에서 보여 지는 여러 개의 선과 면의 조합, 그 안에 위치한 색의 표현은 기하학적인 비례미를 나타낸다. 그의 작품에서 나타나는 이러한 패턴은 자연주의 회화에서 시작하여 추상에 이르기까지 조금씩 변화하였다. 헤어디자인에 있어 컬러는 형태를 돋보이게 하는 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며 다양한 시도와 표현이 가능한 분야이다. 본 논문은 헤어스타일에 있어 컬러디자인의 다양성을 제시하기 위하여 몬드리안의 작품을 모티브로 하여 헤어디자인을 예술적으로 접근하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한, 몬드리안의 작품들에서 나타나는 선, 면, 컬러의 위치와 비례, 조화미에 대하여 분석하고 그 변화의 특성을 파악하여 미용대회의 프로그레시브 커트스타일의 컬러디자인에 적용하고자 한다. 더불어, 미용대회의 프로그레시브 커트스타일의 컬러분야에 새로운 아이디어와 방향을 제시하는 이러한 예술적 접근이 헤어디자인 분야에서 시도됨을 통하여 미용예술분야의 미적가치가 높아지기를 기대한다.

미메시스적 접근에 따른 안젤로 세미나라(Angelo Seminara)의 헤어 컬렉션 분석

In art history, mimesis is a concept of imitation, representation and reproduction. It’s been widely used in diverse fields such as sculpture, painting, poetry, literature, fashion and architecture. In the beginning, this term started from the expressive characteristics of ritualistic meaning. Since then, it has evolved with the characteristics of the following: imitation that reproduces the style and look of nature, copying of the essence of a subject and characteristics in which an entity can be freely expressed by an artist. Angelo Seminara, an artistic director of the Italian brand ‘Davines’, has received awards at the renowned British Hairdresser Awards (BHA) several times. He has unveiled creative and unique hairstyles through personal collections and exhibitions. This study attempted to analyze the relationship between beauty art and mimesis. First, it tried to classify hairstyles in his hair collections according to mimetic characteristics based on the concept and types of mimesis. In addition, this study observes mimetic expressions in each hairstyle and analyzes hairstyling characteristics. Furthermore, it targets the building of the potential to establish an academic foundation in cosmetology through this kind of aesthetic approach and develop it into art.

아르누보 양식의 조형적 특성을 응용한 헤어바이나이트 디자인

The art nouveau, a new art is an esthetic and decorative art movement which is characterized by an organic line, an asymmetric structure, a mystic color tone and a natural motive. A hair-by-night is a hair formative art that applies the characteristics of the art nouveau. The purpose of this paper is to help hair designers to study an ingenious hair design with artistry and creativity based on the analysis of the hair-by-night. By analyzing the concept and formative features of the art nouveau and the works of hair-by-night, we found out that the hair-by-night completed a beautiful formative art. This is because the hair-by-night gives shape to a curve, asymmetric structure and a symbolic aspect of a motive. Based on this, this paper helps hair designers to lead a creative and inspired hair design trend with practicality and artistry.

미용 작품의 개념과 분류에 대한 제안 연구

This study proposed the concept for the classification of beauty works from the perspective of art. For this, literature research was performed, focusing on hairstyling works. With the recent continued growth and development of the cosmetology industry, cosmetologists’ skills have improved. At the same time, their activities have been observed in diverse patterns. A hairstyle is a formative artwork completed through a process of making the specific space, the human head, more beautiful. Therefore, it can be classified into a practical work for customers and an unpractical beauty work, which is brough about through a creative and unique artistic approach. Specifically, it was classified based on practical aesthetics, which are acceptable in daily life from the perspective that cosmetology is an essential element, which exists close to the human body. It is anticipated that this study would offer an opportunity to reconsider the concept and standards of beauty works. It is also expected that such beauty works expressed in diverse patterns would eventually be accepted as a form of art.

헤어아트 연구 동향 분석

Science technology has developed in modern society, and people’s literary level and aesthetic value standards have not only increased but also become more diverse. This trend has ushered in the advancement of popular culture and both pursues and forms integrated beauty in an interaction with art, culture, film and academic studies. The aesthetic pursuit of modern people has included the search for uniqueness and diversity. In addition, the development of a new genre called ‘hair art’ in the beauty arts offers a new possibility for artistic values. The creation of hair as art work is evolving into a new formative art and recently, hair art has emerged as a field of study with possibilities in the beauty arts. As a result, there have been studies on ‘hair art’ in some colleges. Even though diverse research methods and creative hair art studies have been conducted, however, the expression methods have been limited. In addition, there has been a need to make use of new motifs or other materials in setting the research topic. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate previous hair art-related studies and to suggest a future direction for hair art according to current trends. A total of 104 academic journals and papers on hair art from the National Assembly Library of Korea, RISS and KISS were analyzed and redundant studies were excluded from this survey.

조형 디자인의 원리를 응용한 헤어디자인 연구 - 헤어월드 남성종목 작품제작을 중심으로 -

Interest in human nature from ancient times and the human instinct to find beauty in nature, modern standards have an interest in the natural environment-friendly beauty, a lot of time and are seeking investment. The beauty of the outward form of human life is important and in the environment and create a variety of fashion and style to imitate the appearance of art and human expression of inner thoughts and striving because the area has expanded as a variety of art. Many of these artistic craft in the area buried in the past, living out of a simple instrumental features a comprehensive plan, through the beauty of design as fine art to express the value. Previous studies through the Formative Design with other elements of the elements and Formative Principles moment comes through in the new design inspired by grafting did not think the creation of hair design, also become a paradigm shift. Hair design and principles of design, modeling organic shapes and geometric shapes through the application of competition and the Hair World and features works by expressing a form of formative design to shape the technical approach was made through the four works in the affected areas of hair design will be considered. Formative Design principles can be applied to the study of hair design, Hair World Championships throughinternational creative contributions to the development of the beauty service Industry and also continued the study of the Hair World through research, theoretical formulations continue to be hope and procedures available to customers of hair design wants to turn into an instrument of creating the scaffolding.
