      • u-캠퍼스 구축 모델에 관한 연구

        Together with the development of information and telecommunication technologies, the information environment of campus also has been changed. Recently uniquitous computing technology is going to introduce into various areas. In this paper we proposed new construction models for u-campus which applies to ubiquitous computing technologies. Our proposed models are included in a network model and a service system model. The network model is classified into stage 1~3 according to supported network bandwidths and services. Also the service system model is consisted of 3 levels hierarchical structure according to their functions and characteristics.

      • NMF 기반 LDA 혼합 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 얼굴인식 시스템에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we propose a new NLM(NMF-based LDA Mixture) algorithm for real-time face recognition system. This system greatly consists of the two parts: 1) face extraction part; 2) face recognition part. In the face extraction part we applied subtraction image, color filtering, eyes and mouth region detection, and normalization method, and then in the face recognition part we used NLM in extracted face candidate region images. The existing recognition system using only PCA(Principal Component Analysis) showed low recognition rates, and it was hard in the recognition system using only LDA(Linear Discriminants Analysis) to apply LDA directly when the training set is small. To overcome these shortcomings, we reduced dimension as the matrix that had non-negative value to be different from former eigenfaces and then applied LDA to the matrix in the proposed system. We have experimented using self-organized DAUFace database and ORL database offered by AT&T laboratory in Cambridge, U.K. to evaluated the performance of the proposed system. The experimental results showed that the proposed method outperformed PCA, LDA, ICA(Independent Component Analysis) and PCA-based LDA mixture method within the framework of recognition accuracy.

      • S-Function Builder를 이용한 UWB 시스템의 성능해석

        The application of UWB not only complies with the requirements of remote sensors system(ECG), it also contributes to the effectiveness of the implementations through its unique qualities such as ultra low transmission power - an important factor when dealing with biomedical equipment. In this paper, the aim is to replace the wired ECG sensor with a wireless link and design wireless UWB communication system. The various pulse shapes are presented that satisfies the FCC spectral mask and FCC part 15 rule. It is shown that UWB can be a high rate transmission over short ranges using rake receiver, with the capability for reliably transmitting 100Mbps over distance at about 10 meters.

      • 암호학적인 키 할당 기법을 이용한 XML 문서의 접근제어

        The XML is de facto the standard language for the exchange of information in Internet and represent an important opportunity to provide find grained access control. In order to provide a general access control methodology for parts of XML documents, we propose combining role-based access control, with a methodology originally designed for key distribution in cryptography. We describe how certain access control policies for restricting access to XML documents can be enforced by encrypting specified regions of the documents. These regions are specified using XPath filters and the policies are based on the hierarchial structure of XML documents.

        This paper presents a new design method of Sequentiel Couleur Avec Memoire (SECAM) which is one of the normal broadcasting standards. The analog SECAM encoder is difficult to make a digital hardware because of a characteristic of Anti-cloche filter, pre-emphasis filter and FM modulation. So this paper proposes the modified filter and the rearranged FM modulation method for digital SECAM encoder. The proposed method makes it possible that the SECAM encoder can be implemented by a digital system like as National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) and Phase-Alternate Line (PAL).

      • 사용자 스키마와 규칙을 이용한 웹 정보 추출

        To query the vast amount of web pages which are available in the Internet, it is necessary to extract the encoded information in the web pages for converting it into structured data (e.g. relational data for SQL) or semistructured data (e.g. XML data for XQuery). In this paper, we propose a new web information extraction system, PIES, to convert web information into XML documents. PIES is based on a user-specified schema and HTML tag pattern descriptions. The web information is extracted by the pattern descriptions and validated by the schema. We designed a new language to describe extraction rules, and a new regular expression language to describe HTML tag patterns. We implemented PIES and applied it to the US patent web site to demonstrate its feasibility. It successfully extracted more than thousands of US patent data and converted them into XML documents.

        With the development of ICT(Information Communication Technology), these technologies have been utilized in education field broadly Recently, u-Campus that applies the ubiquitous computing and network technologies to campus is going to appear. In this paper, we propose a intelligent information delivery service that can provide new information to students in campus. Students In campus use all sorts of information, such as educational matters, employments, entering upon studies, etc. In the database at anytime and anywhere. Using the proposed service in this paper, students can do their campus life more efficiently and easily.

      • 비전센서를 이용한 AGV 주행정보 획득과 조향제어에 관한 연구

        We experimented on AGV driving test with color CCD camera which is setup on it. This paper can be divided into two parts. One is image processing part to measure the condition of the guideline and AGV. The other is part that obtains the reference steering angle through using the image processing parts. First, 2 dimension image information derived from vision sensor is interpreted to the 3 dimension information by the angle and position of the CCD camera. Through these processes, AGV knows the driving conditions of AGV. After then using of those information, AGV calculates the reference steering angle changed by the speed of AGV. In the case of low speed, it focuses on the left/right error values of the guide line. As increasing of the speed of AGV, it focuses on the slop of guide line. Lastly, we are to model the above descriptions as the type of PID controller and regulate the coefficient value of it the speed of AGV.

      • Design and Comparison of the Pipelined Radix-2 IFFT/FFT modules

        본 논문에서는 OFDM( Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)^(1-2)을 사용하는 고속 무선 LAN의 표준인 IEEE 802.11a-1999를 위해 IFFT/FFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform/Fast Fourier Transform) 모듈을 설계하였다. 모듈은 64-point R2SDF(Radix-2 Single-path Delay Feedback)[3-4]로 설계하였으며 에러와 하드웨어 크기를 줄이는데 중점을 두었다. 또한 각 버터플라이 블록에서의 데이터를 저장하기 위해 flip-flop과 RAM을 쓴 두가지 형태의 R2SDF를 비교하였다. 제안된 IFFT/FFT 모듈은 하드웨어 기술 언어인 Verilog HDL을 사용하여 설계되었다. 설계의 합성과 구현을 위해 Synopsys사의 Design Analyzer, Samsung std90(0.35[㎛], 3.3[V])라이브러리와 Xilinx사의 FPGA device XCV2000E-6BG560을 사용하였다.

        In this paper, we propose a company infrastructure, and backbone network deployment plan between shoes companies that support an e-business activity of shoes company efficiently as a kind of an information business for the productivity enlarge with competitive a foreign power enhance of Busan shoes companies. For this purpose, we present a wire-wireless integration network deployment plan that integrates the wireless with wire and constructs a network foundation equipment based on analysis about the data to collect directly of the company's through a door and preface investigation. We distinguished the network in a small heavy scale large scale and presented according to the scale of shoes company. A backbone network of the shoes relation company and shoes association is distinguished in the model to use existing network circuit, the model to use a metro ethernet, the model currently in the plan which uses Pusan information highway, and the plan of the separate way which integrates the wireless with the wire. We proposed a realization possibility and the mode of the approach that are to the basis to reach.
