This paper describes the high response and high precision position control of ETC module using BLDC motor without the hall sensor for detecting a rotor position. The proposed ETC control system, which is mainly consisted of a BLDC motor, a throttle plate, a return spring and reduction gear, has a position sensor with an analogue voltage output on the throttle valve instead of BLDC motor for detecting the rotor position. So the additional commutation information is necessarily needed to control the ETC module. For this, the estimation method is applied. In order to improve and obtain the high resolution for the position control, it is generally needed to change the gear ratio of the module or the electrical switching method etc. In this paper, the 3-phase switching between successive commutations is adapted instead of the 2-phase switching that is conventionally used. In addition, the position control with a variable PI gain is applied to improve a dynamic response during a transient period and reduce vibration at a stop in case of matching position reference. The mentioned method can be used to estimate the commutation state and operate the high-precision position control for the ETC module and the high response characteristics. The validity of the proposed method is examined through the experimental results.
High-Performance Tracking Controller Design for Rotary Motion Control System

A robust tracking controller design was developed for a rotary motion control system. The friction force versus the angular velocity was measured and modeled as a combination of linear and nonlinear components. By adding a model-based friction compensator to a nominal proportional–integral–derivative controller, it was possible to build a simulated control system model that agreed well with the experimental results. A zero-phase error tracking controller was selected as the feedforward tracking controller and implemented based on the estimated closed-loop transfer function. To provide robustness against external disturbances and modeling uncertainties, a disturbance observer was added in the position feedback loop. The performance improvement of the overall tracking controller structure was verified through simulations and experiments.

To drive the high-image quality plasma displays of XGA and/or full-HD, we must effectively improve the driving waveform, which get the reset period for the stabilized control of wall charges, the address period to select discharge or non-discharge, and sustain period for luminance in 1 Tv-frame, and also the display quality. To accomplish them. the development of the technology for the fast address discharge is required. In this paper. the correlation between the sustain-electrode gap and the address discharge characteristics for the high-speed addressing was analyzed using the measurements of dynamic voltage margins. Results showed that the narrower the gap between the sustain electrodes, the narrower the width of the scan pulse became and a dynamic margin of data voltage of 29.2 V was obtained at scan pulse width of 1.0 ㎲ and V<SUB>ramp</SUB> of 240 V for driving 4-inch test penal. which the gap between sustain electrodes was 65 um.

In this Paper, We present Optimization Process in Seat System Design. At present Robust Design Concept used world widely in Automotive Component Design. So, we practiced Weight Reduction in seat weight to the extent of 2(Kg) through Robust Design Optimization. And Robust Design Optimization Process involved all kinds of safety legislation satisfaction. As a result of this process We could reduce 2. 127(㎏) in seat weight.
