        Performance Analysis of Pursuit-Evasion Game-Based Guidance Laws

        We propose guidance laws based on a pursuit-evasion game. The game solutions are obtained from a pursuit-evasion game solver developed by the authors. We introduce a direct method to solve planar pursuit-evasion games with control variable constraints in which the game solution is sought by iteration of the update and correction steps. The initial value of the game solution is used for guidance of the evader and the pursuer, and then the pursuit-evasion game is solved again at the next time step. In this respect, the proposed guidance laws are similar to the approach of model predictive control. The proposed guidance method is compared to proportional navigation guidance for a pursuit-evasion scenario in which the evader always tries to maximize the capture time. The capture sets of the two guidance methods are demonstrated.

      • A Study on the Efficient TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) Algorithm for MANET

        A MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a multi-hop routing protocol formed by a collection without the intervention of infrastructure. So the MANET also depended on the property as like variable energy, high degree of mobility, location environments of nodes etc. In recently years, the various clustering technique and routing algorithm would have proposed for improving the energy efficiency. One of the popular approach methods, It could make a cluster-based routing algorithm using in MANET. However, the proposed clustering method results remain the problems in high energy consumption on the cluster head node management. To solve the problems, many routing scheme have been presented to provide that Dynamic clustering is a method of resolving such a problem by distributing energy consumption through the re-selected head node [1][5]. But the proposed dynamic clustering has a problem when cluster head node is re-selected for energy consumption. These proposed an algorithm were presented about composition of cluster that was being node clustering algorithm process. However, it could not provide a solution that is also improving energy efficiency and making energy consumption to reduce through reconstruction of cluster. So, in this paper, we propose an algorithm techniques which is TICC (Time Interval Clustering Control) based on energy value in property of each node for solving cluster problem. It provides improving cluster energy efficiency how can being node manage to order each node's energy level. TICC is clustering method. It has shown that Node's energy efficiency and life time are improved in MANET.

        Study on the Analysis regarding the Connection Network of Design Inspirations pursued by Modern Fashion Designers - Focus on the Concept of Fashion Collections -

        This research explores diachronic fashion design trends through a structure analysis of a connection network based on fashion show concepts implemented by modern fashion designers from S/S 2009 to F/W 2013. The findings from this research are as follows. First, four categories affect the inspiration and thinking of design: the experience of the designer, social atmosphere and phenomena, natural sensitivity (or formative characteristics of natural objects), and the influence and quality of other fields. Second, in cases where the designers` experiences influenced design inspiration and thinking, designers express personal memories with keywords like high school, grandmother`s closet, prom, beauty and the beast, heritage, past, and reminiscence through design elements such as lines, silhouettes, materials, and colors. Third, the representative example of the social atmosphere and phenomena that influenced design inspiration and thinking was the 2008 Global Financial Crisis that reflected the social climate through design concepts of keywords such as Recession, Black, Economy, US, Depression, Gray, Dark Age, White and New York. Fourth, inspired by nature and the formative characteristics in design, the designers employed ornamental elements to collections and design concepts that focused on nature words connected to light, sun, wild, dirt, rock, moss, and trees. Fifth, the designers took their ideas from different fields of personal interest in the arts, science and humanities (sports, architecture, sculpture, painting, and literature) that were decisive in determining materials, design colors and silhouettes. The theme of architecture was analyzed as a central element that had an ongoing impact on the concepts of designers.

        Research : Fashion Styles and Aesthetic Values represented in Bridesmaid dresses

        This study considers style types and examines aesthetic values by analyzing images expressed through bridesmaid dresses in the movie ‘27 Dresses’. The research method used was a case study on fashion types from movie costumes. The conclusions of this study are as follows. There are three fashion style types in the movie ‘27 Dresses’ presented by diverse dress type according the bride’s dress code, dress style that reflects a country’s culture and tradition of how bridesmaids wear traditional costumes particular to each country as well as a dress style that suits the overall wedding’s atmosphere and theme. The aesthetic values of the movie ‘27 Dresses’: First, it reflects a complementarity synergy between the bridesmaid and the bride at the wedding. It plays a complementary role in creating synergy through a harmonious presentation at the wedding. Secondly, it represents traditionality. Traditional costumes of different cultures were used as bridesmaid dresses. These costumes play an important role in denoting the bride’s nationality and tradition. Third, it represents a sense of amusement using a wedding as concept. The bridesmaid dresses were unique in a way that elicited surprise and unexpected laughter as well as a feeling of pleasure and interest in the audience. The different styles of bridesmaid dresses in movie costumes can help expand more diverse wedding cultures in a modern society.

        Application of superficial keratectomy and soft contact lens for the treatment of symblepharon in a cat: a case report

        A 7-month-old intact female Persian cat was diagnosed with symblepharon accompanied by epiphora, brownish ocular discharge, and ocular discomfort in the left eye. Superficial keratectomy (SK) was performed to remove adhesions between the conjunctiva and cornea. To prevent re-adhesion after SK, the detached conjunctival tissue was sutured to the corneal limbus, and a soft contact lens (SCL) was inserted and a partial temporary tarsorrhaphy was performed. The SCL and tarsorrhaphy sutures were maintained for 22 days, and symblepharon did not recur 347 days postoperatively. SK combined with SCL is a relatively easy and cost-effective surgical option for feline symblepharon.

        Transactions : The Images of Chinese Traditional Colors and Cultural Preferences -Focus on the Movie Costumes of <The Last Emperor>-

        An authentic national spirit in media (particularly films), traditional images, and color preferences is expressed through movies that are melted in local traditions. This study suggests a direction regarding the characteristics for historical costumes by examining traditional color images and cultural preference in the Chinese film <The Last Emperor> (1987), a representative film that deals with Chinese history and traditions. This movie can illustrate the correlation between the temporal backgrounds and the costumes in the movie with the criteria of Eastern color systems. The results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the image of Chinese traditional colors represented in many parts of <The last Emperor> and the cultural preferences that underlies their works through the expression of traditional colors. The scenes of traditional costumes and colors express the visual embodiments of the costumes that reflect a specific status, ceremony, or ritual. Second, the traditional colors used in the movie are based on the Yin-Yang theory. Particularly, Red, Yellow, Black is mostly used for ordinary clothing. Third, there are some differences in the use of color arrangements, that change regarding the use of traditional colors according to images and situations that follow the intention of the director. Planning the color arrangements is considered an engaging connectivity between traditions and images in the movie and it is extended or reduced based on cultural preferences. Fourth, the increase and decrease of color arrangements is distinctively represented as the story of the movie proceeds.

        Detection of Pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitica Strains by a Rapid and Specific Multiplex PCR Assay

        A multiplex PCR assay targeting the yst and 16S rRNA genes of Yersinia enterocolitica was developed to specifically identify pathogenic Y. enterocolitica from pure culture. Simultaneous amplification of 145 and 416 bp fragments of the yst and 16S rRNA genes of Y. enterocolitica was obtained using the primer pairs in a single reaction. Validation of the assay was performed with the reference Yersinia strains and other members of the family Enterobacteriaceae. The defined primer pairs amplified the targeted sequence from only pathogenic Y. enterocolitica strains, whereas none of the other bacterial species yielded any amplified fragments. Within an assay time of 4 h, this assay offers a very specific, reliable, and inexpensive alternative to the conventional phenotypic assays used in clinical laboratories to identify pathogenic Y. enterocolitica.
