<P>A series of pyrimidine-embedded polyheterocycles was synthesized using a pDOS strategy in a facile manner. Aim(s): This purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of flipped learning-based collaborative team project on communication skills, academic self-efficacy, and problems solving abilities on Korean Nursing Students. Method(s): the study used a single-group time-series design. Thirty-three students participated in this study. Students experienced collaborative team activities for 15weeks with 4 weeks of flipped learning. The pre-test 1, pre-test 2 and post-test were conducted to compare the differences in communication skills, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving abilities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and repeated measure ANOVA. Result(s): After students had received the flipped learning, the results of post-test showed communication skills were significantly higher than pre-test 1 (f=5.63, p=.009) and problem-solving abilities were significantly higher than pre-test 1 and pre-test 2 (f=7.20, p=.003). Conclusion(s): The findings of this study suggest that flipped learning-based education is an effective method to increase communication skills and problem-solving on nursing students. The limitation of this study is that it is difficult to generalized as it conducted using a quasi-experimental study design with a single-group time-series design.

<▼1><P>A new divergent synthetic pathway for skeletally distinct pyrimidine-containing medium-sized azacycles was developed. Diversity-generating reactions <I>via</I> selective bond cleavages or migrations from N-quaternized intermediates were designed, and 14 discrete core skeletons were synthesized in an efficient manner. The skeletal diversity of the resulting molecular frameworks was confirmed by chemoinformatic analysis.</P></▼1><▼2><P>Medium-sized heterocycles have recently received significant attention because of their potential roles as modulators of protein–protein interactions, but their molecular diversity and synthetic availability are still inadequate to meet the demand. To address these issues, we developed a new divergent synthetic pathway for skeletally distinct pyrimidine-containing medium-sized azacycles. We introduced N-quaternized pyrimidine-containing polyheterocycles as novel key intermediates for diversity-generating reactions <I>via</I> selective bond cleavages or migrations and prepared 14 discrete core skeletons in an efficient manner. The skeletal diversity of the resulting molecular frameworks was confirmed by chemoinformatic analysis.</P></▼2>

Vaccines against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic were developed atan unprecedented speed. For example, tozinameran (Comirnaty®, Pfizer-BioNTech) andelasomeran (Spikevax, Moderna), mRNA vaccines against COVID-19, were granted anemergency use authorization (EUA) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration within just 10months since COVID-19 pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization [1]. Theywere the first COVID-19 vaccines approved by the regulator y authority in the world. Soonafter, the regulator y agencies in other countries or regions also granted EUA or full approvalto tozinameran and elasomeran as the first vaccines in their territories [1], and people inmany of those areas were able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Interestingly, these 2 vaccineswere both developed by a pharmaceutical company based in the US, i.e., Pfizer (tozinameran)and Moderna (elasomeran) [1].

최근, 실내 환경에서 위치기반 서비스 응용에 대한 수요가 늘어남에 따라 비콘, 지자기, Wi-Fi 등을 사용한 실내측위 관련 연구가 활발히 연구되고 있다. 특히, BLE 비콘을 사용한 실내측위는 시스템 설치 및 유지보수의 용의성, 낮은 소비전력, 낮은 가격 등의 특징을 가지고 있으며, 이에 다양한 상용 실내측위 응용 분야에서 조명 받고 있다. 일반적으로, BLE 비콘 기반 실내측위는 단일 BLE 비콘과 해당 비콘의 전파 범위에 위치하는 단말기 사이의 송수신 전파의 세기 정보를 이용하여 절대 거리를 계산한다. 그러나, 기존 연구 방법으로는 BLE 비콘의 종류, 설치 환경에 따른 전파 감쇄 및 반사 등의 문제로 정확한 거리를 측정할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 다중 비콘을 사용하여 각 비콘으로부터 얻은 수신세기 차이를 이용한 실내 공간 세그멘테이션 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 실험을 진행하였으며, 그 결과 임의로 설정한 4m × 4m 정사각형 영역에서 내부와 외부를 구분할 수 있었다.
