In this paper, YbBa_2Cu_3O_x superconductor was sinterd by means of conventional solid reaction and the textured YbBa_2Cu_3O_x was prepared by the Melted-condenced process in which SmBa_2Cu_3O_x crystal was used as seed crystal to introduce the YbBa_2Cu_3O_x crystal growth. The texture of YbBa_2Cu_3O_x was examined by X-ray diffraction, and the fracture of YbBa_2Cu_3O_x sample was observed by SEM, which proved the sample was well oriented. After oxygen absorption of the textured YbBa_2Cu_3O_x sample, the critical temperature was measureed to be 86k. The critical current density was obtained at the value of 770A/㎠(77K, OH) calculated by Bean's Model using the measured values of hysterisys curve of VSM.

The photoluminescence (PL) spectra from p-type a-porous silicon carbides prepared under UV photo-assisted process and under dark-current condition are investigated in detail. Emission bands with peak energies of 2.35, 2.50, 2.70, and 3.43 are resolved. The PL stability in tune and the PL difference arising from different tuning excitation energies are studied. It is found that the PL spectra of the a-porous silicon carbide depend strongly on the preparation conditions for electrochemical etching. The PL spectrum of the sample prepared under photo-assisted process has an enhancement on the lower-energy side of the emission; on the contray, another one under dark-current condition has an enhancement at the higher energy side, and the former stability is better than the latter one, and the latter PL intensity decreases with the increase of the time in the air. The reasons about these differences are discussed.

This study used the structural equation modeling (SEM) of SPSS and AMOS to verify the hypotheses on the correlation between various dimensions, which were all supported. The correlations were significantly positive. The results showed that the effect of consumer health concept on algae product knowledge is significantly positive, where path coefficient is 0.9, indicating that consumers with health concept are more willing to accept new algae product knowledge, thereby affecting their purchase intention on algae product.

In this study, we used RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to analyze and compare bulk cell samples from wild-type (WT) dermal mesenchymal stem cells (DMSCs) (n = 3) and Prx II knockout DMSCs (n = 3). The purpose of the study was to elucidate the role of Prx II on allogeneic immune rejection of transplanted DMSCs. The results revealed differential expression of 472 genes (176 up-regulated and 296 down-regulated; p ≤ 0.05) between the PrxII+/+ (WT) and PrxII−/− sample groups. When highly regulated genes were categorized according to the Gene Ontology (GO) molecular function classification and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis, the PrxII−/− samples showed a robust downward trend in allograft rejection. The study identified 43 all immunologically rejected differentially expressed genes, of which 41 showed lower expression in the PrxII−/− vs. PrxII+/+ (WT) samples. These findings suggest that Prx II gene knockout may down-regulate the allograft rejection that occurs during DMSCs transplantation and improve the survival rate of DMSCs in the host. This study provides a new perspective on the clinical treatment of stem cell transplantation.

Severe inflammatory reactions caused by macrophage activation can trigger a systemic immune response. In the present study, we observed the anti-inflammatory properties of hispidin on LPS induced RAW264.7 macrophage cells. Our results showed that hispidin treatment significantly reduced the production of cellular NO, IL-6 and reactive oxygen species (ROS) while has not inhibitory effect on TNF-α productions. Excitingly, hispidin treatment retains the phagocytosis ability of macrophages which enabling them to perform the function of removing foreign invaders. Signaling studies showed, hispidin treatment dramatic suppressed the LPS induced mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPK) and JAK/STAT activations. In conclusion, our findings suggest that hispidin may be a new therapeutic target for clinical treatment of macrophages-mediated inflammatory responses.

In this paper, based on the research of high temperature YBCO superconductor, it was studied to prepare using the Yb instead of Y to obtain the YbBCO superconductor which was combined by means of conventional solid reaction. The textured oriented superconducting crystal was also prepared by MCP method. After the starting materials were mixed and calcined the three kinds of compounds such as YbBa₂Cu₃Ox, BaCuO₂, Yb₂BaCuO5 were coexisted in the system confirmed by analyzing of the XRD peaks. In the result of DTA measurement, the melting point of YbBCO superconductor was 979℃, and the critical temperature was determined at 86K by the measuring data of alternating magnetic susceptibility. The critical current density was obtained at the value of 770A/㎠(77K, 0H) calculated by Bean's Model using the measured values of hysterisys curve of VSM.
Holographic Solar Energy Concentrator Using Angular Multiplexed and Iterative Recording Method

<P>Holographic optical elements can be fabricated to concentrate the solar energy with no sun tracking system. Concentrated diffraction efficiency (CDE) for the holographic solar concentrator is suggested as a new efficiency calculation method. The exposure response of a monochromatic hologram recorded in photopolymer film is presented. The iterative exposure schedules at three different angles are chosen to optimize the uniformity of the CDE using angular multiplexed technique. The experimental results confirm that the angular multiplexing method and newly proposed iterative recording scheduling are appropriate for fabricating the holographic solar concentrator.</P>
Automatic Recognition of Emotion based on a Cognitively Motivated Emotion Annotation System

Emotion recognition is very important for the extraction of expressive information. In this paper, we provide a robust and versatile emotion annotation scheme that can not only annotate explicit and implicit expressions of emotion, but also can encode different levels of information for a given emotion content. In addition, taking cognitive psychologists` theories into account, large and comparatively high-quality emotion corpora are automatically created to allow for emotion recognition in Chinese and English. Our annotation scheme can easily be adapted for different kinds of applications dealing with emotion, and, being generic, can also be applied to other languages, We also discuss the two kinds of emotion representations used in our corpus, namely, holistic and componential representations, We find that the two representations have their own qualities and shortcomings and that choosing between them ultimately depends mainly on the application type.

<P>Jujuboside B (<B>1</B>) is one of the saponins isolated from the seeds of <I>Zizyphus jujuba</I> var. <I>spinosa</I>, which are used as a well-known traditional medicine for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety in East Asian countries. This is the first study to investigate the antitumor mechanism of <B>1</B> in vivo and in vitro. The results showed that <B>1</B> induced apoptosis and autophagy in AGS and HCT 116 human cancer cells and also effectively suppressed tumor growth in a nude mouse xenograft model bearing HCT 116 cells. The apoptosis-inducing effect of <B>1</B> was characterized by annexin V/propidium iodide staining, sub-G1 phase increase, and caspase-3 activation. Mechanistic studies showed that <B>1</B>-induced apoptosis is associated with the extrinsic pathway through an increase in FasL and caspase-8 activation. Moreover, <B>1</B> activated p38/c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), and the extrinsic pathway-mediated apoptosis was attenuated by both SB202190 (a p38 inhibitor) and SP600125 (a JNK inhibitor). The autophagy-inducing effect was indicated by the formation of cytoplasmic vacuoles and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain-3 II (LC3-II) conversion. The autophagy inhibitor bafilomycin A1 (BaF) decreased <B>1</B>-induced cell viability and increased pp38, pJNK, FasL, caspase-8 activation, and caspase-3 activation. <P>Stretchable conductive materials have received great attention owing to their potential for realizing next generation stretchable electronics. However, the simultaneous achievement of excellent mechanical stretchability and high electrical conductivity as well as cost-effective fabrication has been a significant challenge. Here, we report a highly stretchable and highly conducting polymer that was obtained by incorporating an ionic liquid. When 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetracyanoborate (EMIM TCB) was added to an aqueous conducting polymer Solution of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), it was found that EMIM:TCB acts not only as a secondary dopant but also as a plasticizer for PEDOT:PSS, resulting in a high conductivity of >1000 S cm with stable performance at tensile strains up to 50% and even up to 180% in combination with the prestrained substrate technique. Consequently, by exploiting the additional benefits of high transparency and solution-processability of PEDOT:PSS, we were able to fabricate a highly stretchable, semitransparent, and wholly solution processed alternating current electroluminescent device with unimpaired performance at 50% strain by using PEDOT:PSS/EMIM TCB composite films as both bottom and top electrodes.</P>
