The interference function I(k), the radial distribution function(RDF) 4πr².ρ(r), and the probability function W(r)= ?? , where ρ(r) is the number of atoms per unit volume at a distance r from a reference atom and ?? is the average atomic density, can be determined from the experimentally measured X-ray scattering pattern of a liquid, amorphous or micropoly-crystalline binary alloy. The measured X-ray intensities are corrected for background, polarization and absorption which are characteristic of the diffraction geometry. The resulting corrected intensities are then normalized to an absolute scale with the normalization constants determined by the high-angle, the RDF, and the Krogh-Moe-Norman methods including the Laue monotonic scattering due to the difference in scattering factors ?? and ?? of the elements A and B in the binary alloy of concentration ?? of A atoms. The coherent scattering intensities per atom in absolute units, J ?? is the basis for the calculation of the interference function I(k): ?? where k= ?? Consisting of the measured intensities of the binary alloy, the background intensities, the atomic scattering factors and the Compton Scattering of the individual elements, we are shown the scattered intensities, ?? in electron units, the interference function I(k), the function F(k), the Fourier coefficients G(r), the radial distribution function(RDF) 4πr²ρ(r), the average atomic distribution ?? , the probability function W(r) and the coordinatio number CN= ??
CdSiP₂Chalcopyrite의 고유치와 Raman Shift의 계산

The equations of motion of CdSiP₂with chalcopyrite structure are formulated by using the harmonic approximation method. The force constants are used to two first-neighbor central and one second-neighbor angular force constants following Bettini. With these force constants, dynamical matrix can be obtained. The secular equations constructed from this dynamical matrix are solved by software called mathematica. In this study, we calculated eigenvalue and Raman shift in CdSiP₂chalcopyrite, these are compared with the experimental Raman shifts and Bettini's. Our results explain the Raman shifts fairly good.
Chalcopyrite 결정구조에 대한 진동모드와 고유치 및 고유벡터에 관한 연구

We report a detailed investigation of the zone-centered phonons in chalcopyrites at ?? -point. The equations of motion of ZnSnP₂, CdSnP₂, CdSiP₂, and CdGeP₂ in chalcopyrite sturcture are formulated by using the harmonic approximation method. In this study, we got 3 acoustic and 21 optical phonons at ?? -point, the modes of 21 optical phonons are assigned by comparing with the results of group theoretical analysis. These results are agreed that ZnSnP₂is ?? (X₃) mode, CdSnP₂is ??( ?? ) mode, CdSiP₂ is ?? (X₃) mode and ??( ?? ) mode, CdSeP₂is ??( ?? ) mode and ??( ?? ) mode. These are compared with the experimental Raman shifts and Bettini's. The value of our results is very similar to Bettini's value for Raman shifts.

Malakoplakia is a rare, granulomatous disease that usually affects immunocompromised individuals and is generally associated with poor graft and patient survival. We present a case of renal malakoplakia after kidney transplantation (KT). A 33-year-old female patient with chronic kidney disease underwent living-donor KT at Severance Hospital. The patient was administered 375 mg/m2 rituximab due to high panel reactive antibodies. Immunosuppression was initiated with 1.5 mg/kg anti-thymocyte globulin and intravenous methylprednisolone and maintained with tacrolimus, oral methylprednisolone, and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF). Six months after KT, the patient was hospitalized for a urinary tract infection with an elevated serum creatinine level of 3.14 mg/dL. Renal biopsy revealed malakoplakia involving the renal parenchyma. Upon this diagnosis, the dose of tacrolimus was reduced and MMF was stopped. Fluoroquinolone was used for 16 days, and the trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole dose was doubled for 6 days. The patient was hospitalized for 3 weeks and closely observed during outpatient visits. Follow-up ultrasonography revealed mass-like lesions of renal malakoplakia, which disappeared 5 months after diagnosis. The serum creatinine level decreased to 1.29 mg/dL 28 months after diagnosis. Our results suggest that renal malakoplakia can be successfully treated by the reduction of immunosuppression and sustained antimicrobial therapy.

Self-Organized Interconnection Process Using Solderable ACA (Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive)

<P>In this paper, we discuss our design of a new class of low-melting-point alloy (LMPA)-filled anisotropically conductive adhesives (ACA) and a self-organized interconnection process for using these adhesives, and we demonstrate a good electrical conduction for the process. Flow, melting, coalescence, and wetting characteristics of LMPA fillers in the ACA facilitate this process. In order to exploit good coalescence and wetting characteristics of LMPA fillers, the polymer matrix has a sufficient fluxing capability against oxide films of both LMPA fillers and electrode materials. Furthermore, it is essential that the polymer have a low viscosity level around the melting point of the incorporated LMPA to achieve a good electrical conduction path.In order to study coalescence and wetting characteristics, we formulated two types of ACA with different volume fractions of LMPA filler (10 vol% and 40 vol%). Our test board had an 18-μm thick Cu line-type pattern (10mm×0.1mm) and an area array-type pattern (square type: 0.1mm×0.1mm, circle type: \\varphi, 0.1 mm) with five different pitches (50 μm to 250 μm). We measured thermal properties of the ACA by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and we determined a temperature profile for the interconnection process. We then monitored coalescence and wetting characteristics of LMPA fillers and morphology of conduction path in ACA by using a microfocusing X-ray inspection system and an optical microscope.We determined that the developed LMPA-filled ACA have good coalescence and wetting characteristics regardless of pattern types. In addition, we were able to achieve a good electrical conduction path because of the coalescence and wetting characteristics of the LMPA fillers in the ACA.</P>
