        Effects of Ga-doping on the microstructure and magnetic properties of MnBi alloys

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The low temperature phase Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>45-<I>x</I> </SUB>Ga<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB> (<I>x</I> = 0, 1, 3, 5, and 10) alloys were prepared by induction melting process with subsequent low temperature annealing. The effects of Ga-doping on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of the alloys were systematically studied. The room temperature coercivities of Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>45-<I>x</I> </SUB>Ga<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB> after ball milling increased from 1.43 T for <I>x</I> = 0 to 1.66 T for <I>x</I> = 5, while the saturation magnetization decreased from 60.7 Am<SUP>2</SUP>/kg (<I>x</I> = 0) to 45.1 Am<SUP>2</SUP>/kg (<I>x</I> = 5). The maximum energy product (<I>BH</I>)<SUB>max</SUB> of Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>44</SUB>Ga powders reached 7.87 MGOe. The Curie temperature of the Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>45-<I>x</I> </SUB>Ga<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB> alloys increased from 633 K to 658 K with increasing Ga concentration in the range of 0 ≤ <I>x</I> ≤ 5.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Effects of doping Ga on the microstructural and magnetic properties of MnBi alloy. </LI> <LI> The MnBi-Ga powders are achieved by surfactant assisted high energy ball milling. </LI> <LI> The maximum energy produce (<I>BH</I>)<SUB>max</SUB> shows 7.87 MGOe for Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>44</SUB>Ga sample. </LI> <LI> The coercivity of Mn<SUB>55</SUB>Bi<SUB>40</SUB>Ga<SUB>5</SUB> after ball milling reached 1.66 T at room temperature. </LI> <LI> The elevated curie temperature (<I>T</I> <SUB>c</SUB>) by doping Ga makes it a possible candidate for high temperature applications. </LI> </UL> </P>

        A Study on the Fused-Innovation Method of Cross-cultural Design through analyzing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Design Activities

        With the outbreak of COVID-19, international exchanges have become more frequent, and cross-cultural exchanges have also begun to become more frequent, prompting the internationalization and cross-cultural features of design to become increasingly prominent. This article starts with this exploration of design trends and analyzes the design activities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The purpose of this research is to design a theoretical system of innovation methods in the process of cross-cultural knowledge fusion of consistency modeling, similarity clustering, reorganization, and fusion innovation. Therefore, this thesis was able to study the components of innovative design methods. First, using design cases, cross-cultural knowledge fusion procedures and design trends, an analysis framework is designed. Secondly, under this framework, four design categories are studied: visual design, industrial design, fashion design, and space design. Finally, it is analyzed that innovative design has different degrees of development in regions, ecology, technology, times and human nature. Based on these research results, we look forward to enhancing consumers" personalized experience of the product.

        A study on Overseas Communication Strategy of Guangdong Cultural Short Videos Based on TikTok Platform under the Background of Media Fusion

        Due to the rapid development of network media and the popularity of mobile social media, the form of fused media development has been vigorously developed. The new “short-time” video format for real-time sharing and seamless docking on short video social platforms meets people’s need for relaxation of “fragmented” time. Based on the characteristics of the TikTok, this article analyzes the overseas communication strategies of Guangdong culture short videos from influencing factors and case studies. The purpose of this article is to establish an overseas communication strategy based on the ELM. Therefore, this article can study the factors that affect the effect of overseas communication through SPSS analysis. First, using the ELM, four model hypotheses are proposed under the center path and the edge path. Second, through designing questionnaires and data collection, SPSS data analysis shows that the H1, H2, and H3 hypotheses are established, and three main factors affecting overseas communication are explored: high-quality content, user attitudes-participation, and media popularity. H4 hypothesis does not hold, delete the creators. Third, through case studies, analyze the specific advantages of overseas communication. Finally, propose some strategies. Based on these research results, we look forward to the combination of Guangdong culture and commercial products to enhance the influence of overseas communication.

        Immunomodulatory Properties of Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 Expressing an Anti-CD11c Single-Chain Fv Fragment

        The lactic acid bacteria species Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) has been used extensively for vaccine delivery. Considering to the critical role of dendritic cells in stimulating host immune response, in this study, we constructed a novel CD11c-targeting L. plantarum strain with surface-displayed variable fragments of anti-CD11c, single-chain antibody (scFv-CD11c). The newly designed L. plantarum strain, named 409-aCD11c, could adhere and invade more efficiently to bone marrow-derived DCs (BMDCs) in vitro due to the specific interaction between scFv-CD11c and CD11c located on the surface of BMDCs. After incubation with BMDCs, the 409-aCD11c strain harboring a eukaryotic vector pValac-GFP could lead to more efficient expression of GFP compared with wild-type strains shown by flow cytometry analysis, indicating the enhanced translocation of pValac-GFP from L. plantarum to BMDCs. Similar results were also observed in an in vivo study, which showed that oral administration resulted in efficient expression of GFP in both Peyer’s patches (PP) and mesenteric lymph nodes (MLNs) within 7 days after the last administration. In addition, the CD11c-targeting strain significantly promoted the differentiation and maturation of DCs, the differentiation of IL-4+ and IL-17A+ T helper (Th) cells in MLNs, as well as production of B220+ IgA+ B cells in the PP. In conclusion, this study developed a novel DC-targeting L. plantarum strain which could increase the ability to deliver eukaryotic expression plasmid to host cells, indicating a promising approach for vaccine study.

        Voice activity detection (VAD) is the key of voice recognition, voice synthesis and speech-sound enhancement.For the sake of improve the accuracy and robustness of speech endpoint detection system. Combining the advantages of adaptive genetic algorithm (AGA) and improved radial basis function network (RBF) defects in existing learning methods. This paper presents a comprehensive detection method-- Adaptive genetic algorithm radial basis function network. This method uses adaptive genetic algorithm to simultaneously optimize the center, the width and the structure of RBF network. The method using wavelet analysis to extract the characteristics of the speech signal, use them as an input amount to the radial basis function networks. Establish voice detection system model, this method enhance the accuracy of the detection system and has better robustness.

        Bone Morphogenetic Protein 9 Overexpression Reduces Osteosarcoma Cell Migration and Invasion

        Transforming growth factor- (TGF-) is known to pro-mote tumor migration and invasion. Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) are members of the TGF- family expressed in a variety of human carcinoma cell lines. The role of bone morphogenetic protein 9 (BMP9), the most powerful osteogenic factor, in osteosarcoma (OS) progression has not been fully clarified. The expression of BMP9 and its receptors in OS cell lines was analyzed by RT-PCR. We found that BMP9 and its receptors were expressed in OS cell lines. We further investigated the influence of BMP9 on the biological behaviors of OS cells. BMP9 overexpression in the OS cell lines 143B and MG63 inhibited in vitro cell migration and invasion. We further investigated the ex-pression of a panel of cancer-related genes and found that BMP9 overexpression increased the phosphorylation of Smad1/5/8 proteins, increased the expression of ID1, and reduced the expression and activity of matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) in OS cells. BMP9 silencing induced the opposite effects. We also found that BMP9 may not affect the chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 12 (CXCL12)/C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) axis to regulate the invasiveness and metastatic capacity of OS cells. Interestingly, CXCR4 was expressed in both 143B and MG63 cells, while CXCL12 was only detected in MG63 cells. Taken together, we hypothesize that BMP9 inhibits the migration and invasiveness of OS cells through a Smad-dependent pathway by downregulating the expression and activity of MMP9.

        A Vegetable Dietary Pattern Is Associated with Lowered Risk of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in Chinese Women

        Background Identification of modifiable dietary factors, which are involved in the development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), could inform strategies to prevent GDM. Methods We examined the dietary patterns in a Chinese population and evaluated their relationship with GDM risk using a case-control study including 1,464 cases and 8,092 control subjects. Propensity score matching was used to reduce the imbalance of covariates between cases and controls. Dietary patterns were identified using factor analysis while their associations with GDM risk were evaluated using logistic regression models. Results A “vegetable” dietary pattern was characterized as the consumption of green leafy vegetables (Chinese little greens and bean seedling), other vegetables (cabbages, carrots, tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, mushrooms, peppers, bamboo shoots, agarics, and garlic), and bean products (soybean milk, tofu, kidney beans, and cowpea). For every quartile increase in the vegetables factor score during 1 year prior to conception, the first trimester, and the second trimester of pregnancy, the GDM risk lowered by 6% (odds ratio [OR], 0.94; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.89 to 0.99), 7% (OR, 0.94; 95% CI, 0.88 to 0.99), and 9% (OR, 0.91; 95% CI, 0.86 to 0.96). Conclusion In conclusion, our study suggests that the vegetable dietary pattern is associated with lower GDM risk; however, the interpretation of the result should with caution due to the limitations in our study, and additional studies are necessary to explore the underlying mechanism of this relationship.

        A multi-parameter optimization technique for prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridges considering prestress in girder

        The traditional design procedure of a prestressed concrete (PC) cable-stayed bridge is complex and time-consuming. The designers have to repeatedly modify the configuration of the large number of design parameters to obtain a feasible design scheme which maybe not an economical design. In order to efficiently achieve an optimum design for PC cable-stayed bridges, a multi-parameter optimization technique is proposed. In this optimization technique, the number of prestressing tendons in girder is firstly set as one of design variables, as well as cable forces, cable areas and cross-section sizes of the girders and the towers. The stress and displacement constraints are simultaneously utilized to ensure the safety and serviceability of the structure. The target is to obtain the minimum cost design for a PC cable-stayed bridge. Finally, this optimization technique is carried out by a developed PC cable-stayed bridge optimization program involving the interaction of the parameterized automatically modeling program, the finite element structural analysis program and the optimization algorithm. A low-pylon PC cable-stayed bridge is selected as the example to test the proposed optimization technique. The optimum result verifies the capability and efficiency of the optimization technique, and the significance to optimize the number of prestressing tendons in the girder. The optimum design scheme obtained by the application can achieve a 24.03% reduction in cost, compared with the initial design.
