3D PIC Method for Modeling and Simulating the Beam Transport System of a Linear Induction Accelerator

        Yang Changhong,Meng Lin,Liu Da Gang,Zhang Kaizhi,Liao Shuqing,Dai Zhiyong 한국물리학회 2011 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.59 No.61

Firstly, the method of combining the finite difference time domain with particle-in-cell code is used for simulating and modeling a accelerated section of the LIA, and on this basis, the numerical simulation of the solenoid coils and steering coils in accelerated section are completed by writing independent calculation module of magnetic components ,then on the platform of the MPICH2 message passing system, a proper method for parallel computing of more accelerate sections is provided and solved LIA's great scale problems. Finally, the 18 accelerated sections was simulated by the software, and compared with the envelope diagram of documents, which proved the correctness of the method used.

      • Study on Mud-Water Separation Test Technology for Shield Slurry in Underground Tunnel

( Changhong Yan ),( Shulan Guo ),( Liang Wen ),( Liangwei Li ),( Xiaoyong Yang ),( Zhiwei Jin ),( Xuyang Fan ) 대한지질공학회 2019 대한지질공학회 학술발표회논문집 Vol.2019 No.2

The construction of urban subway produced a large amount of slurry with hign moisture content. In order to ensure the stability of the excavation face during the construction of the tunnel shield, prevent the spoil from adhering to the shield cutter, a large amount of additives such as water, bentonite, foaming agent are added to the spoil. Therefore, the slurry has the characteristics of uneven particle composition, high moisture content, low permeability and remarkable plastic flow, and its shear strength is almost zero. The transportation and stacking of slurry can cause environmental pollution and damage the ecological environment. To solve this problem, our research team developed a set of mud-water separation test device to carry out research on mud-water separation technology. The Optimal treatment plan for mud-water separation is given by a large number of laboratory tests: when the moisture content of slurry is relatively high, the vacuum negative pressur is firstly used to discharge the free water. When the moisture content drops below the liquid limit, the electroosmosis and the vacuum negative pressure are combined to discharge the bound water, at which time the moisture content in the slurry is close to the plastic limit, thereby achieving slurry hardening. This method has a fast drainage speed and low cost, and has been successfully applied to the Suzhou Metro. It is not only conducive to the resource utilization of slurry, but more importantly, it can effectively protect the ecological environment.

      • Research on Mechanism of Temporary Confined Groundwater in the Intermittent Creep Landslide in Ningzhen Area

        ( Changhong Yan ),( Shulan Guo ),( Jinzhong Tan ),( Yang Liu ),( Baotian Xu ) 대한지질공학회 2019 대한지질공학회 학술발표회논문집 Vol.2019 No.2

In recent years, due to the influence of extreme heavy rainfall weather, many large scale landslides occurred on the gentle slopes in Ningzhen area, which characteristically intermittent creep, large scale, and small slip distance (generally less than 30 m). The surface of gentle slope is dominated by fine-grained soil, while the middle and lower layers are dominated by coarse-grained soil, gravel or weathered rockmass, forming a special "binary stratigraphic structure" and the permeability of the soil layer is weak-strong-weak from top to bottom. Under the condition of heavy rainfall weather extremes, the bare rockmass fracture of upper mountain in favor of rainfall infiltration. The middle mountain by precipitation process prone to circular sliding, the lower part of the gentle slope is easy to form “Temporary confined groundwater”, which is prone to landslide under the combined with downslide force of the middle slide body. Based on this new type of landslide geological hazard, the stratum structure and sliding mechanism of the landslide had been researched by using the cybernetics of rockmass structure and preferred plane theory.

      • Aqueous Extract of Semen <i> Ziziphi Spinosae</i> Exerts Anxiolytic Effects during Nicotine Withdrawal via Improvement of Amygdaloid CRF/CRF1R Signaling

        Gu, Changhong,Zhao, ZhengLin,Zhu, Xiaodong,Wu, Tong,Lee, Bong Hyo,Jiao, Yu,Lee, Chul Won,Jung, Dae Hwa,Yang, Chae Ha,Zhao, Rongjie,Kim, Sang Chan Hindawi 2018 Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medic Vol.2018 No.-

<P>Anxiety during nicotine withdrawal (NicW) is a key risk factor for smoking relapse. Semen<I> Ziziphi Spinosae</I> (SZS), which is a prototypical hypnotic-sedative herb in Oriental medicine, has been clinically used to treat insomnia and general anxiety disorders for thousands of years. Thus, the present study evaluated the effects of the aqueous extract of SZS (AESZS) on NicW-induced anxiety in male rats that received subcutaneous administrations of nicotine (Nic) (0.4 mg/kg, twice a day) for 7 d followed by 4 d of withdrawal. During NicW, the rats received four intragastric treatments of AESZS (60 mg/kg/d or 180 mg/kg/d). AESZS dose-dependently attenuated NicW-induced anxiety-like behaviors in the elevated plus maze (EPM) tests and 180 mg/kg/d AESZS inhibited NicW-induced increases in plasma corticosterone. Additionally, the protein and mRNA expressions of corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) and CRF type 1 receptor (CRF1R) increased in the central nucleus of the amygdala (CeA) during NicW, but these changes were suppressed by 180 mg/kg/d AESZS. A post-AESZS infusion of CRF into the CeA abolished the attenuation of anxiety by AESZS and 180 mg/kg/d AESZS suppressed NicW-induced increases in norepinephrine and 3-methoxy-4-hydroxy-phenylglycol levels in the CeA. The present results suggest that AESZS ameliorated NicW-induced anxiety via improvements in CRF/CRF1R and noradrenergic signaling in the CeA.</P>

      • The Study of Special Geological Environment Conditions in the Design of Supporting Structures for Large and Unusually Shaped Foundation Pits

        ( Shulan Guo ),( Changhong Yan ),( Liangchen Yu ),( Zhanyong Yang ),( Qingming Wang ) 대한지질공학회 2019 대한지질공학회 학술발표회논문집 Vol.2019 No.2

A large underground transportation hub, which was completed in 2016, is located on the west side of the Nanjing Youth Olympic Center, which is close to the embankment of the Yangtze River. The foundation pit for the hub is of an unusual shape and variable depth, and has required deep excavation. A further complicating factor in construction has been the area’s wide distribution of loose sediments of Quaternary age. The near-surface is primarily comprised of newly deposited soft soil of considerable thickness; the lower part is a riverbed-phase sandy soil containing rich groundwater, and most of it is confined. The B2-J1 area is the core area of the project. The bottoms of the foundation pits were located in the layers of B, C1, and C2, which exhibit poor stability. The site is also close to the Yangtze River, which is characterized by high-level groundwater. After considering the engineering geological conditions, the potential associated geological problems, and the function and shape of the foundation pits, we divided the soil layers of the foundation pits into two areas (the NW area and the SE area). The support structure was designed for the “pit in pit” and the “pit leaning pit” phenomena of the two areas, and the support effect was verified via FLAC3D numerical simulation software.

Stem-leaf saponins from Panax notoginseng counteract aberrant autophagy and apoptosis in hippocampal neurons of mice with cognitive impairment induced by sleep deprivation

        Cao, Yin,Yang, Yingbo,Wu, Hui,Lu, Yi,Wu, Shuang,Liu, Lulu,Wang, Changhong,Huang, Fei,Shi, Hailian,Zhang, Beibei,Wu, Xiaojun,Wang, Zhengtao The Korean Society of Ginseng 2020 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.44 No.3

Backgroud: Sleep deprivation (SD) impairs learning and memory by inhibiting hippocampal functioning at molecular and cellular levels. Abnormal autophagy and apoptosis are closely associated with neurodegeneration in the central nervous system. This study is aimed to explore the alleviative effect and the underlying molecular mechanism of stem-leaf saponins of Panax notoginseng (SLSP) on the abnormal neuronal autophagy and apoptosis in hippocampus of mice with impaired learning and memory induced by SD. Methods: Mouse spatial learning and memory were assessed by Morris water maze test. Neuronal morphological changes were observed by Nissl staining. Autophagosome formation was examined by transmission electron microscopy, immunofluorescent staining, acridine orange staining, and transient transfection of the tf-LC3 plasmid. Apoptotic event was analyzed by flow cytometry after PI/annexin V staining. The expression or activation of autophagy and apoptosis-related proteins were detected by Western blotting assay. Results: SLSP was shown to improve the spatial learning and memory of mice after SD for 48 h, accomanied with restrained excessive autophage and apoptosis, whereas enhanced activation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin signaling pathway in hippocampal neurons. Meanwhile, it improved the aberrant autophagy and apoptosis induced by rapamycin and re-activated phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt/mammalian target of rapamycin signaling transduction in HT-22 cells, a hippocampal neuronal cell line. Conclusion: SLSP could alleviate cognitive impairment induced by SD, which was achieved probably through suppressing the abnormal autophagy and apoptosis of hippocampal neurons. The findings may contribute to the clinical application of SLSP in the prevention or therapy of neurological disorders associated with SD.

      • Study Of Acquisition Streetlights Background Signal By Multi-Sensor Array

        WU Yue,SHI changhong,YANG Wei 제어로봇시스템학회 2010 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2010 No.10

The multi-sensor array, such as the sound, light, infrared, vibration etc, is used to get the street lights environmental information. Combined with a variety of clock control strategy for control lamps, it can achieve the background information of perception, detection, identification, and collect the typical characteristics of an effective signal, to rationally determine the threshold value range in the circuit design and lay a solid foundation for the realization of intelligent control of lights. The joint acquisition streetlights background signal through a variety of sensors carried out in a typical experimental design and preparation, principles, introduction, experimental methods and experimental analysis of the results, not only can test the design of control circuit, but also optimize the choice of the sensor models to provide true comparative data. In order to facilitate in a real environment to detect and further identify goals, to achieve the typical information data fusion of specific objectives, the ultimate street intelligent control can be achieved. Experimental results show that the magnetic sensors and infrared sensors detect close proximity, so the model of sensor needs to be replaced or further improved design (such as the optimization of pre-level filtering and amplification circuit design). Acoustic sensors and vibration sensors to detect distance, can meet night lighting control at residents of the community as well as tourist attractions. But there are a lot of distances to meet the use demands of roads and high-speed traffic, the more optimal designs and experiments is need. In addition, a range problem of information synchronize data collection, background noise and a variety of information data crosstalk need to be solved in the joint acquisition experiments, which in the paper were discussed.

Numerical analysis on scale effect of elasticity, strength and failure patterns of jointed rock masses

        Peitao Wang,Tianhong Yang,Tao Xu,Meifeng Cai,Changhong Li 한국지질과학협의회 2016 Geosciences Journal Vol.20 No.4

It is of great importance to study the failure process and scale effect of jointed rock mass in the field of rock mechanics and mining engineering. In the present paper, initially the uniaxial compression test on granite was performed and acoustic emission (AE) sequence was acquired during the compression process in laboratory. Results from numerical simulations using the particle flow code in two dimensions (PFC2D) were presented, and compared with experimental measurements. It was observed that the approach was reasonably good in predicting the real response of granite rock samples. The mechanical parameter of joint model was then calibrated based on PFC2D model with experimental results. Finally the mechanical properties of complex rocks with discrete fracture network (DFN) were studied and scale effects on the elasticity and strength were then investigated. The result showed that the failure pattern was similar when the ratio of joint contact bond strength (both shear and normal) to rock contact bond strength was in the range of 3~9%. The elastic modulus and strength parameters were changed with the sizes of rock sample for DFN models. Moreover, the variation of rock failure pattern under different sizes was also studied and finally the representative elementary volume (REV) size of the considered rock mass was estimated to be 9 × 9 m. It is suggested that the failure pattern analysis should be considered in the REV study of jointed rock mass.

Cloning, Annotation and Expression Analysis of Mycoparasitism- Related Genes in Trichoderma harzianum 88

        Lin Yao,Qian Yang,Jinzhu Song,Chong Tan,Changhong Guo,Li Wang,Lianhai Qu,Yun Wang 한국미생물학회 2013 The journal of microbiology Vol.51 No.2

Trichoderma harzianum 88, a filamentous soil fungus, is an effective biocontrol agent against several plant pathogens. High-throughput sequencing was used here to study the mycoparasitism mechanisms of T. harzianum 88. Plate confrontation tests of T. harzianum 88 against plant pathogens were conducted, and a cDNA library was constructed from T. harzianum 88 mycelia in the presence of plant pathogen cell walls. Randomly selected transcripts from the cDNA library were compared with eukaryotic plant and fungal genomes. Of the 1,386 transcripts sequenced, the most abundant Gene Ontology (GO) classification group was “physiological process”. Differential expression of 19 genes was confirmed by real-time RT-PCR at different mycoparasitism stages against plant pathogens. Gene expression analysis revealed the transcription of various genes involved in mycoparasitism of T. harzianum 88. Our study provides helpful insights into the mechanisms of T. harzianum 88-plant pathogen interactions.
