In this paper, an inverter fed induction motor drive system is analyed m order to predict the conducted interference. High frequency model for inverter, motor and system parasitic components are proposed. High frequency component allows time and frequency domain analysis to be performed with standard PSpice tool. The overall high frequency component and model are verified by comparing simulation and experimental result.

The protective effect of a diterpenoid acanthoic acid (AA) isolated from Acanthopanax koreanum Nakai was investigated in acetaminophen (APAP)-induced hepatic toxicity. Drug-induced hepatotoxicity induced by an intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of 300mg/kg (sub-lethal dose) of APAP. Pretreatment with AA (50 and 100mg/kg) orally 2h before the APAP administration attenuated the APAP-induced acute increase in serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activites, replenished the depleted hepatic glutathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activities, decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) level and considerably reduced the histopathological alterations in a manner similar to silymarin (Sily). Immunohistochemical analyses also demonstrated that AA could reduce the appearance of necrosis regions as well as caspase-3 and hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) expression in liver tissue. Our results indicated that AA protected liver tissue from the oxidative stress elicites by APAP-induced liver damage and suggestes that the hepatic protection mechanism of AA would relate to antioxidation and hypoxia factor on APAP-induced hepatotoxicity.

<P>An in-flight fragment separator usually requires large acceptance and high momentum resolution to minimize the loss of a rare isotope beam of interest produced at a thin target, which is especially important when (238)U fission reactions in the energy of 200 MeV/u are used. The production target and beam dump are located in the pre-separator, where a beam power of up to 400 kW is dissipated. The area is surrounded by thick radiation shielding walls, which result in long drift spaces between adjacent magnetic components at various locations and an asymmetrical layout. Efforts have been made to minimize non-linear effects in the pre-separator beam optics with trials of different separator configurations and correction schemes using COSY Infinity and GICOSY. The main separator is configured to be mirror symmetric such that correction with hexapole and octupole coils can be more readily applied. The separator configuration was finalized to allow the facility design to proceed and the key components including superconducting magnets have been designed and prototyped. In addition, the separator design has been evaluated using LISE++ including a set of wedge degraders at dispersive focal planes to improve the yield and purity of selected isotope beam.</P>

클러치 디스크가 마모되면 노화가 일어나고 여러 증상이 나타난다. 그중에 대표적인 것이 디스크의 슬립으로 인한 출력 감소와 기어 걸림 증상이 있다. 치수와 공간의 제한으로 건식 클러치는 비교적 낮은 냉각 조건을 갖추고 있다. 건식 클러치 부품들이 고온 환경에서 계속 작동하고 있기 때문에 전체 클러치의 성능과 수명에 심각한 영향을 미친다. 보통 차량이 주행을 시작하거나 기어를 바꿀 때 클러치는 미끄러져 움직이고, 차량의 중량이 증가함에 따라 클러치 마모가 더 심해질 수 있다. 클러치 디스크는 밀폐하고 고속회전, 리드하기 힘든 공간이 작업하기 때문에 표면온도의 채집하는 것이 어렵고 마모표면 온도를 측정하는 문서는 많지 않다. 현재 마찰재의 표면 온도에 관한 대부분의 연구는 이론에 초점을 맞춘다. 본 연구는 클러치 마찰 특성 분석에 많이 사용하는 클러치 내열강도시험기(PT System Dynamo Facility)를 이용하여, 건식 디스크 클러치의 마찰 특성 시험을 하였다. 실험은 마모정도에 따라 클러치 디스크를 새 제품(No Attrition), 중간 정도 마모(Moderate Attrition), 노화 마모가 심각(Severity Attrition)한 것으로 세 가지 종류를 비교한다. 클러치의 마찰시험을 통해 얻은 데이터를 이용하여 클러치 디스크의 마모도에 따른 온도 특성을 분석한다.

This study was conducted to determine the effects of feeding by-product feed (BF)-based silage on the performance, blood metabolite parameters, and carcass characteristics of Hanwoo steers. The BF-based silage was composed of 50% spent mushroom substrate, 21% recycled poultry bedding, 15% cut ryegrass straw, 10.8% rice bran, 2% molasses, 0.6% bentonite, and 0.6% microbial additive (on a wet basis), and ensiled for over 5 d. Fifteen steers were allocated to three diets during the growing and fattening periods (3.1 and 9.8 months, respectively): a control diet (concentrate mix and free access to rice straw), a 50% BF-based silage diet (control diet+50% of maximum BF-based silage intake), and a 100% BF-based silage diet (the same amount of concentrate mix and ad libitum BF-based silage). The BF-based silage was fed during the growing and fattening periods, and was replaced with larger particles of rice straw during the finishing period. After 19.6 months of the whole period all the steers were slaughtered. Compared with feeding rice straw, feeding BF-based silage tended (p = 0.10) to increase the average daily gain (27%) and feed efficiency (18%) of the growing steers, caused by increased voluntary feed intake. Feeding BF-based silage had little effect on serum constituents, electrolytes, enzymes, or the blood cell profiles of fattening steers, except for low serum Ca and high blood urea concentrations (p<0.05). Feeding BF-based silage did not affect cold carcass weight, yield traits such as back fat thickness, longissimus muscle area, yield index or yield grade, or quality traits such as meat color, fat color, texture, maturity, marbling score, or quality grade. However, it improved good quality grade (1+ and 1++) appearance rates (60% for the control group vs 100% for the BF-based silage-fed groups). In conclusion, cheap BF-based silage could be successfully used as a good quality roughage source for beef cattle.
