Progressive Edge-Growth Algorithm for Low-Density MIMO Codes

Xueqin Jiang,Yi Yang,이문호,Minda Zhu 한국통신학회 2014 Journal of communications and networks Vol.16 No.6

In low-density parity-check (LDPC) coded multipleinputmultiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, probabilisticinformation are exchanged between an LDPC decoder and aMIMO detector. TheMIMO detector has to calculate probabilisticvalues for each bit which can be very complex. In [1], the authorspresented a class of linear block codes named low-density MIMOcodes (LDMC) which can reduce the complexity of MIMO detector. However, this code only supports the outer-iterations betweenthe MIMO detector and decoder, but does not support the inneriterationsinside the LDPC decoder. In this paper, a new approachto construct LDMC codes is introduced. The new LDMC codes canbe encoded efficiently at the transmitter side and support both ofthe inner-iterations and outer-iterations at the receiver side. Furthermorethey can achieve the design rates and perform very wellover MIMO channels.

Effects of Exocellobiohydrolase CBHA on Fermentation of Tobacco Leaves

        Xu Xueqin,Wang Qianqian,Yang Longyan,Chen Zhiyan,Zhou Yun,Feng Hui,Zhang Peng,Wang Jie 한국미생물·생명공학회 2024 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.34 No.8

The quality of tobacco is directly affected by macromolecular content, fermentation is an effective method to improve biochemical properties. In this study, we utilized CBHA (cellobiohydrolase A) glycosylase, which was expressed by Pichia pastoris, as an additive for fermentation. The contents of main chemical components of tobacco leaves after fermentation were determined, and the changes of microbial community structure and abundance in tobacco leaves during fermentation were analyzed. The relationship between chemical composition and changes in microbial composition was investigated, and the function of bacteria and fungi in fermentation was predicted to identify possible metabolic pathways. After 48 h of CBHA fermentation, the contents of starch, cellulose and total nitrogen in tobacco leaf decreased by 17.60%, 28.91% and 16.05%, respectively. The microbial community structure changed significantly, with Aspergillus abundance decreasing significantly, while Filobasidum, Cladosporium, Bullera, Komagataella, etc., increased in CBHA treated group. Soluble sugar was most affected by microbial community in tobacco leaves, which was negatively correlated with starch, cellulose and total nitrogen. During the fermentation process, the relative abundance of metabolism-related functional genes increased, and the expressions of cellulase and endopeptidase also increased. The results showed that the changes of bacterial community and dominant microbial community on tobacco leaves affected the content of chemical components in tobacco leaves, and adding CBHA for fermentation had a positive effect on improving the quality of tobacco leaves.

Upregulation of Fas in epithelial ovarian cancer reverses the development of resistance to Cisplatin

        ( Fan Yang ),( Wang Long ),( Han Xuechuan ),( Liu Xueqin ),( Ma Hongyun ),( Ding Yonghui ) 생화학분자생물학회(구 한국생화학분자생물학회) 2015 BMB Reports Vol.48 No.1

This study was to investigate the role of Fas in the developmentof Cisplatin-resistant ovarian cancer. On the cellularlevel, Fas expression was significantly reduced in Cisplatinresistant A2780 (A2780/CP) cells compared with A2780 cells. Fas silence with siRNA would promote tumor cell linesproliferation, facilitate tumor cell cycle transition of G1/S,prevent cell apoptosis, and promote cell migration. Expressionof drug resistance gene was negatively correlated to Fas. Innude mice metastasis model of human ovarian carcinoma bysubcutaneous transplantation, after Ad-Fas injected intratumorly,we found that upregulation of Fas could inhibit transplantationtumor tissue growth and reduce the expression of drugresistance gene. Our results indicated that upregulation of Fasin epithelial ovarian cancer reversed the development ofresistance to Cisplatin. In conclusion, our findings suggestedthat Fas might act as a promising therapeutic target for improvementof the sensibility to Cisplatin in ovarian cancer.

Identification, sequence analysis, and infectivity of H9N2 avian influenza viruses isolated from geese

        Rui Zhu,Xueqin Yang,Jianjun Zhang,Danwen Xu,Jiawen Fan,Huoying Shi,Shifeng Wang,Xiufan Liu 대한수의학회 2018 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.19 No.3

The subtype H9N2 avian influenza virus greatly threatens the Chinese poultry industry, even with annual vaccination. Waterfowl can be asymptomatically infected with the H9N2 virus. In this study, three H9N2 virus strains, designated A/Goose/Jiangsu/YZ527/2011 (H9N2, Gs/JS/YZ527/11), A/Goose/Jiangsu/SQ119/2012 (H9N2, Gs/JS/SQ119/12), and A/Goose/Jiangsu/JD564/2012 (H9N2, Gs/JS/JD564/12), were isolated from domestic geese. Molecular characterization of the three isolates showed that the Gs/JS/YZ527/11 virus is a double-reassortant virus, combining genes of A/Quail/Hong Kong/G1/97 (H9N2, G1/97)-like and A/Chicken/Shanghai/F/98 (H9N2, F/98)-like; the Gs/JS/SQ119/12 virus is a triple-reassortant virus combining genes of G1/97-like, F/98-like, and A/Duck/Shantou/163/2004 (H9N2, ST/163/04)-like. The sequences of Gs/JS/JD564/12 share high homology with those of the F/98 virus, except for the neuraminidase gene, whereas the internal genes of Gs/JS/YZ527/11 and Gs/JS/SQ119/12 are closely related to those of the H7N9 viruses. An infectivity analysis of the three isolates showed that Gs/JS/SQ119/12 and Gs/JS/YZ527/11 replicated well, with seroconversion, in geese and chickens, the Gs/JS/JD564/12 did not infect well in geese or chickens, and the F/98 virus only infected chickens, with seroconversion. Emergence of these new reassortant H9N2 avian influenza viruses indicates that these viruses can infect both chicken and goose and can produce different types of lesions in each species.

Modeling of active magnetic bearing in rotating payload satellite considering shaft motion coupling

        Yatao Zhao,Xueqin Chen,Feng Wang,Cheng Wei,Yang Zhao 대한기계학회 2020 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.34 No.11

This paper establishes the refined dynamic model of the five degree-of-freedom active magnetic bearing used in the earth-oriented satellite system with an unbalanced rotating payload based on the more refined air gap change model for stator motion. The disturbance effects of the thrust active magnetic bearing and the coupling effects of shaft motion are analyzed by the equivalent stiffness and damping model, especially when the satellite system is in the fine pointing phase. Numerical simulation results are provided to verify the accuracy of the proposed simplified stiffness and damping model, the disturbance term effects on active magnetic bearing, and the significance of the refined magnetic bearing dynamic model for improving the payload working ability in the fine pointing phase.

Integrated analysis of transcriptome and milk metagenome in subclinical mastitic and healthy cows

        Zhang Jinning,Liu Xueqin,Usman Tahir,Tang Yongjie,Mi Siyuan,Li Wenlong,Yang Mengyou,Yu Ying 아세아·태평양축산학회 2024 Animal Bioscience Vol.37 No.4

Objective: Abnormally increased somatic cell counts (SCCs) in milk is usually a sign of bovine subclinical mastitis. Mutual interaction between the host and its associated microbiota plays an important role in developing such diseases. The main objective of this study was to explore the difference between cows with elevated SCCs and healthy cattle from the perspective of host-microbe interplay. Methods: A total of 31 milk samples and 23 bovine peripheral blood samples were collected from Holstein dairy cattle to conduct an integrated analysis of transcriptomic and metagenomics. Results: The results showed that Ralstonia and Sphingomonas were enriched in cows with subclinical mastitis. The relative abundance of the two bacteria was positively correlated with the expression level of bovine transcobalamin 1 and uridine phosphorylase 1 encoding gene. Moreover, functional analysis revealed a distinct alternation in some important microbial biological processes. Conclusion: These results reveal the relative abundance of Ralstonia and Sphingomonas other than common mastitis-causing pathogens varied from healthy cows to those with subclinical mastitis and might be associated with elevated SCCs. Potential association was observed between bovine milk microbiota composition and the transcriptional pattern of some genes, thus providing new insights to understand homeostasis of bovine udder.

2023 International Science Research Vol.3 No.1

International researches on the relationship between children and cities, the impact of urban environment on children's body and mind, and how to build a child friendly city have reached a certain depth. At present, the construction of child friendly cities in China is still in its infancy. Among them, the urban spatial planning involving children has not been in-depth, and the disease burden caused by falls and road traffic injuries is still high. In view of the problems existing in the built environment of the city, we should carry out the construction of a child friendly city, pay attention to the safety guarantee of children's activity space, formulate targeted accidental injury prevention and control measures, and promote the inclusive sharing of children's medical and health service resources, high-quality and balanced development.

Integrated Metabolome and Transcriptome Analysis Reveal Complex Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Selenium Response of Aloe vera L.

        Zou Yi,Changyou Han,Fang Wang,Yanhua Tan,Saina Yang,Chuying Huang,Shengyou Xie,Xueqin Xiao 한국식물학회 2021 Journal of Plant Biology Vol.64 No.2

Aloe vera L. is an excellent resource for medication. Selenium-enriched aloe can act as a functional food to human health. To understand the molecular mechanisms underlying selenium accumulation in Aloe vera L., we characterized the metabolic and transcriptome responses of aloe leaves under different Na2SeO4 levels (0, 200, and 400 mg/L) treatments. Aloe leaves spraying with exogenous selenium fertilizer showed a significant increase in total Se content compared with those under non-treatment control, and no distinct differences were observed between 200 and 400 mg/L Se treatment. Non-targeted metabolic profiling revealed that Se treatment triggered the accumulation of antioxidants, including amino acid and derivatives, phenols, flavonoids, terpene, as well as indole derivatives. Consistent with metabolic changes following Se treatment, the transcript level of genes involved in Se assimilation and Se-response showed dramatically increase, such as those encoding sulfate transporter, antioxidants, phytohormone signaling, transcription factors, and phenols metabolites, suggesting Se assimilation generally accompanied with antioxidant and pathogen defense. This study exhibited comprehensive insights on Se response in Aloe vera L., and provided us with targeted genes for genetic engineering, thereby improving the therapeutic value of aloe.
