        Determination of Herbicide Propisochlor in Soil, Water and Rice by Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe (QuEChERS) Method Using by UPLC-ESI-MS/MS

        A simple, quick and reliable analytical method for the confirmation and quantification of propisochlor was developed. The propisochlor was extracted from water, soil and rice (stalks, rice and hull) matrices using acetonitrile, and cleaned up with primary secondary amine and determined by UPLC-MS/MS. The LODs of propisochlor ranged from 0.03 ${\mu}g/kg$ to 0.12 ${\mu}g/kg$, while the LOQs ranged from 0.1 ${\mu}g/kg$ to 0.4 ${\mu}g/kg$ in different matrixes. The mean recoveries of propisochlor at three levels (0.005, 0.01 and 0.05 mg/kg) were in the range of 73.7-94.9% with intra-day relative standard deviations (RSD) of 1.1-13.9% and inter-day $RSD_R$ of 3.3-12.7%. This method is suitable for routine analysis of propisochlor under field conditions. The half-lives of propisochlor in rice stalks, water and soil were 1.7, 1.5 and 2.3 days in Hunan, 5.7, 1.0 and 1.9 days in Anhui and 4.8, 1.0 and 3.1 days in Guangxi.

        Let-7c miRNA Inhibits the Proliferation and Migration of Heat-Denatured Dermal Fibroblasts Through Down-Regulating HSP70

        Wound healing is a complex physiological process necessitating the coordinated action of various cell types, signals and microRNAs (miRNAs). However, little is known regarding the role of miRNAs in mediating this process. In the present study, we show that let-7c miRNA is decreased in heat-denatured fibroblasts and that inhibiting let-7c expression leads to the increased proliferation and migration of dermal fibroblasts, whereas the overexpression of let-7c exerts an opposite effect. Further investigation has identified heat shock protein 70 as a direct target of let-7c and has demonstrated that the expression of HSP70 in fibroblasts is negatively correlated with let-7c levels. Moreover, down-regulation of let-7c expression is accompanied by up-regulation of Bcl-2 expression and down-regulation of Bax expression, both of which are the downstream genes of HSP70. Notably, the knockdown of HSP70 by HSP70 siRNA apparently abrogates the stimulatory effect of let-7c inhibitor on heat-denatured fibroblasts proliferation and migration. Overall, we have identified let-7c as a key regulator that inhibits fibroblasts proliferation and migration during wound healing.

        Hydrothermal Synthesis and Electrochemical Property of Self-Assembly K10 [H2W12O42] · 10H2O Nanorod

        Using KOH and WO3 as raw materials, K10[H2W12O42] · 10H2O nanorod was successfully synthesized via controlling the pH value and the K/W mole ratio of hydrothermal system. The structure and morphology of the samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, HRTEM and selected area electron diffraction (SAED). The size of K10[H2W12O42] · 10H2O nanorod was about 300 nm in width and 3–10 µm in length. The nanorod consisted of self-assembly nanowires with about 10 nm in width. Moreover, the electrochemical performance of K10[H2W12O42] · 10H2O as anode material was investigated, indicating that the as-prepared sample electrode possessed a certain ability of lithium ion insertion/extraction, and exhibited a high initial discharge capacity of 310 mAh g-1.

      • A Temporal Error Concealment based on Motion Vector Recovery for H.264/AVC

        In this paper, a new temporal error concealment method for the new coding standard H.264/AVC is presented, which uses the high correlation between the motion vectors of neighboring blocks. By using the motion vector of neighboring MB of the lost MB, the MV of the lost MB are recovered. It is shown that under FMO coding method of H.264/AVC, the proposed method increases PSNR gain up to 2.85dB compared to build-in algorithm in the H.264/AVC test model and 2.59dB compared to Lagrange interpolation.

      • High-Frequency Isolated Medium-Voltage AC Grid-connected PV Power Generation System Structure based on DC Bus Collection

        This paper proposes an isolated mediumvoltage AC grid-connected PV power generation system structure based on DC bus collection with high-frequency link concept. The proposed system structure consists of centralized photovoltaic power plant, inverter unit based on isolated bridge converter (I-BC), and capacitor at the junction of dc bus. PV plant is divided into many arrays, each PV array is connected in parallel with each phase inverter unit. Inverter unit is composed of two I-BC. Compare with conventional two-stage PV inverter, I-BC can totally eliminate the individual DC-link capacitors at the highvoltage side, which leads to extremely reduced system volume and voltage-balancing control between individual capacitors. Second harmonic power oscillations seen in typical system structure can also be eliminated or reduced through use of the proposed system. This paper presents the analysis and operation of the proposed PV system structure with experimental results on a scaled-down laboratory.

        A Hybrid Link Protection Scheme for Ensuring Network Service Availability in Link-state Routing Networks

        The internet is playing an increasingly crucial role inboth personal and business activities. In addition, with the emergenceof real-time, delay sensitive and mission-critical applications,stringent network availability requirement is put forward for internetservice providers (ISPs). However, commonly deployed intradomainlink-state routing protocols react to link failures by globallyexchanging link state advertisements and recalculating routingtable, inevitably causing significant forwarding discontinuityafter a failure. Therefore, the loop-free criterion (LFC) approachhas been widely deployed by many ISPs for coping with the singlenetwork component failure scenario in large internet backbones. The success of LFC lies in its inherent simplicity, but this comesat the expense of letting certain failure scenarios go unprotected. To achieve full failure coverage with LFC without incurring significantextra overhead, we propose a novel link protection scheme,hybrid link protection (HLP), to achieve failure resilient routing. Compared to previous schemes, HLP ensures high network availabilityin a more efficient way. HLP is implemented in two stages. Stage one provides an efficient LFC based method (MNP-e). Thecomplexity of the algorithm is less than that of Dijkstra’s algorithmand can provide the similar network availability with LFC. Stage two provides backup path protection (BPP) based on MNP-e,where only a minimum number of links need to be protected, usingspecial paths and packet headers, to meet the network availabilityrequirement. We evaluate these algorithms in a wide spread ofrelevant topologies, both real and synthetic, and the results revealthat HLP can achieve high network availability without introducingconspicuous overhead. HLP not only needs around 10% time ofthat of full protection, but also provides full protection capabilitiesthat full protection provide.

      • Arm Balance Control Scheme of Novel Isolated Modular Multilevel Converter (I-MMC)

        This paper introduces an isolated modular multilevel converter (I-MMC) structure which can transport the energy power from LVDC to HVDC and HVAC with single-stage, and the arm balance control strategy. The paper also analyzes the reason of leading to the unbalance in arm, establish the relevant model, and propose the unbalance control strategy of the arm. Finally, the method is verified by simulation and experiment.

        Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Outcomes of Long-Level Intramedullary Spinal Cord Tumors: A Consecutive Series of 43 Cases

        Objective: Long-level intramedullary spinal cord tumors (LIMSCTs) cause complex treatment issues. However, LIMSCTs have rarely been analyzed separately. The authors reported a large case series of LIMSCTs and analyzed the clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes. Methods: The medical data of patients with LIMSCTs at our institution between January 2015 and December 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. Demographics, tumor size and location, pathology, extent of resection, and neurological functional status were collected. Results: A total of 43 consecutive cases were included. Twenty-three cases (53.5%) of LIMSCTs were ependymal tumors. All patients with ependymal tumors achieved gross total resection (GTR). In ependymal tumor cases, 3 cases (13%) of ependymal tumors experienced postoperative neurological deterioration, and 66% of them showed an improvement at follow-up; 25.6% were low-grade astrocytic tumors. The rates of GTR, subtotal resection (STR) and partial resection (PR) were 63.6%, 27.3%, and 9.1%, respectively. Twenty-seven percent cases showed postoperative neurological worsening, and 33% of them had an improvement at follow-up; 20.9% were high-grade astrocytic tumors. The excision rates were 44.4% for GTR, 44.4% for STR, and 11% for PR, respectively. Fifty-five percent cases showed postoperative neurological worsening, and none of them had an improvement at follow-up. Conclusion: In this series, all LIMSCTs were gliomas. Aggressive tumor resection did not increase the risk of long-term functional deterioration in ependymal tumors and low-grade astrocytic tumors, but in high-grade astrocytic tumors, patients had a higher risk of neurological deterioration and difficulty in recovery. In ependymal tumors and low-grade astrocytic tumors, patients can achieve long-time survival after performing aggressive tumor resection.
