        The fabrication of aminoquinoline-functionalized polydiacetylene-based hybrid vesicles with partially reversible thermochromic property

        The development of smart materials with reversible thermochromic properties is of great importance in the fields of sensors, displays and anticounterfeitings. In this article, a diacetylene monomer (AQDA) containing aminoquinoline as a head group was synthesized. Together with fluorescein-substituted diacetylene (FDA) and 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid (PCDA), hybrid PDA vesicles were obtained through self-assembly and topochemical polymerization process. The hybrid PDA vesicles (FDA, AQDA and PCDA with molar ratio of 7:2:1) display an partially reversible green-to-orange red colorimetric change in a wider temperature range from 20 to 100 °C focusing on the stronger hydrogen bonding and aromatic interactions. This work may provide fundamental understanding of the mechanism and strategies for the design of reversible thermochromic PDA materials.

        Conceptual design and analysis of remote steering system for CFETR ECRH system

        In order to optimize the operational safety and reliability of the upper launcher for the CFETR ECRH system, a design of the launcher based on the remote steering concept is currently being carried out for comparison with the front steering equivalent. This paper presents the remote steering system's conceptual design and simulation analysis. A Square Corrugated Waveguide (SCW) of 65 × 65 mm has been designed with an optimized length of 9.35 m. By changing the relative length of the waveguide, the transmission efficiency of the SCW is optimized within the range of steering angles ±12°. Different error factors are investigated in detail, and corresponding acceptable error ranges are provided. Considering these error factors and ignoring ohmic losses and thermal effects, the relative transmission efficiency of the SCW is estimated to be >98 % within the steering angle range. A matching steering unit for the SCW is designed, which consists of an ellipsoidal focusing mirror and a steerable flat mirror. The detailed design of the steerable mirror motion trajectory is presented. Also, the influence of the possible beam incident errors caused by the steering unit on the transmission efficiency is analyzed in detail.

        Quasi-optical design and analysis of a remote steering launcher for CFETR ECRH system

        In order to optimize the operational safety and reliability of the upper launcher for the CFETR ECRH system, a design of the launcher for NTM control based on the remote steering concept is currently being carried out for comparison with the front steering equivalent. This paper presents the layout design and analysis of the quasioptical system in the remote steering launcher. A 3D visual quasi-optical design tool has been developed for the quasi-optical system, which can parameterize modeling, perform general astigmatic beam calculation and show the accurate beam propagation path in the upper port. Three identical sets of quasi-optical modules are arranged in the launcher, and each one consists of two fixed double-curvature focusing mirrors, which focus and reflect the steering beams ( 12◦–12◦) from two square corrugated waveguides. The beam characteristics at the resonance layer are described, and the average beam radius is < 100 mm. The peak head loads on the surfaces of the two fixed mirrors are 1.63 MW/m2 and 1.52 MW/m2. The position and size of the beam channel in the blanket are obtained, and the opening apertures on the launcher-facing and plasma-facing sides of the blanket module are 0.54 m2 and 0.4 m2, respectively.

        Tidal Effect on Grouting in Karst Fracture with Flowing Water: Experimental Investigation and Its Application

        To address the problem on grouting control of water inflow disaster in coastal area, a caisson-type grouting experimental system of a single fracture in flowing water under tidal action was developed independently. Through the tide simulation system, the tidal action of different intensity and frequency was effectively described. Tide simulation system, fracture system, grouting system, water supply system and information monitoring system were combined to realize the visualization of the whole grouting process under tidal action. Furthermore, the grouting experiments of a plate fracture under different tidal action were developed and the blocking mechanism under tidal action was revealed. The conclusions were as follow: 1) Under constant water head, the slurry had three typical diffusion patterns, which were circular distribution, double U-shaped distribution and elliptical distribution respectively. 2) Under tidal action, the pressure showed a periodic fluctuation growth, and the growth rate slowed down with the increase of fracture aperture. 3) Strong tidal action would promote the diffusion of and increased the outflow amount of slurry, which was not conducive to grouting. Based on the water inflow treatment project of limestone mine in Guangxi, Through the field grouting tests, the 2# water inflow point was blocked. The research results have a certain reference value for the technology optimization of grouting engineering in coastal areas.

      • Analysis of Harmonic Transfer Characteristics and RAPF Installation Strategy in Power Systems

        Power quality has become a new threat because of the distributed nature of disturbances caused by nonlinear loads and DGs. When harmonics are transmitted in a distribution network, they’ll be magnified by resonance between line capacitance and inductance, then worsen the harmonic in power systems. In this paper, a mathematical model for harmonic transfer characteristics of power system feeders is firstly established. Meanwhile, analyze the harmonic voltage propagation caused respectively by the background harmonic voltage source and harmonic current source, which provides an important theoretical basis for the treatment of harmonic pollution. In addition, a strategy is proposed to guide the optimal installation position and setting of external resistance of RAPF to achieve the minimum total distortion rate in the entire distribution network system, which can damp the harmonic resonant effectively. Simulation and experiments have been performed to verify the theoretical analysis and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

        Power flow predictive model control to improve the efficiency of regenerative energy storage and utilization

        In dual-motor drive systems, a supercapacitor is connected to a common direct current (DC) bus through a DC/DC converter for the storage and utilization of regenerative energy, which is an effective energy saving method. However, the uncoordinated control of this type of system results in undesirable power circulation and reduced energy utilization efficiency. In this paper, an optimal power tracking control strategy based on a power flow predictive model is proposed. The power flow of the system is analyzed and a power flow predictive model is established. In addition, an objective function is deduced from the perspective of optimal performance tracking and minimum grid side energy consumption. The reference power of a supercapacitor is obtained in real time under constraints. The power flows among the grid side, the motors, and the energy storage unit are fully coordinated to realize a reasonable energy distribution. Experimental results indicate that the energy utilization efficiency of the system is improved by 25.4% in comparison with double closed-loop control in one working period.

        The impact of TNFSF14 on prognosis and immune microenvironment in clear cell renal cell carcinoma

        Background TNFSF14 has been proven to play an important role in various types of tumors. However, its function in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has not yet been fully elucidated. Objective In order to explore molecular mechanism of RCC, we evaluated the efect of TNFSF14 on RCC progression, prognosis and immune microenvironment. Methods Using TCGA database, the diferential expression of TNFSF14 and its relationships between clinicopathological features and prognosis were determined. Cox univariate and multivariate analyses were successively performed to identify whether TNFSF14 was an independent prognostic factor. The discriminating ability of TNFSF14 in RCC prognosis analysis was validated under the same clinical subgroups. Tumor mutational burden (TMB) of each RCC samples was calculated and the diferential expression of TNFSF14 between high- and low-TMB groups was analyzed. The immune abundances of 22 leukocyte subtypes in each RCC samples were presented through the CIBERSORT algorithm. TIMER database was used to explore the relationships between copy number of TNFSF14 and the infltration levels of 6 immune cells. Results Overexpression of TNFSF14 implied adverse clinicopathological features and poor prognosis. Meanwhile, TNFSF14 was identifed as an independent prognostic factor (HR=1.047, P=0.028) and possessed prevalent applicability in RCC prognostic analysis. TNFSF14 was upregulated in high-TMB group than that in low-TMB group (Log2FC=0.722). Moreover, overexpression of TNFSF14 brought alteration of immune abundance of 8 leukocyte subtypes. Besides, somatic copy number alteration (SCNA) of TNFSF14 was associated with infltration levels of 6 immune cells. Conclusions TNFSF14 has crucial impact on progression, prognosis and immune microenvironment in RCC. Besides, TNFSF14 may be a potential biomarker for predicting the efcacy and response rate of RCC immunotherapy.

        Ginsenosides Rc, as a novel SIRT6 activator, protects mice against high fat diet induced NAFLD

        Background: Hepatic lipid disorder impaired mitochondrial homeostasis and intracellular redox balance, triggering development of non-alcohol fatty liver disease (NAFLD), while effective therapeutic approach remains inadequate. Ginsenosides Rc has been reported to maintain glucose balance in adipose tissue, while its role in regulating lipid metabolism remain vacant. Thus, we investigated the function and mechanism of ginsenosides Rc in defending high fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD. Methods: Mice primary hepatocytes (MPHs) challenged with oleic acid & palmitic acid were used to test the effects of ginsenosides Rc on intracellular lipid metabolism. RNAseq and molecular docking study were performed to explore potential targets of ginsenosides Rc in defending lipid deposition. Wild type and liver specific sirtuin 6 (SIRT6, 50721) deficient mice on HFD for 12 weeks were subjected to different dose of ginsenosides Rc to determine the function and detailed mechanism in vivo. Results: We identified ginsenosides Rc as a novel SIRT6 activator via increasing its expression and deacetylase activity. Ginsenosides Rc defends OA&PA-induced lipid deposition in MPHs and protects mice against HFD-induced metabolic disorder in dosage dependent manner. Ginsenosides Rc (20mg/kg) injection improved glucose intolerance, insulin resistance, oxidative stress and inflammation response in HFD mice. Ginsenosides Rc treatment accelerates peroxisome proliferator activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α, 19013)-mediated fatty acid oxidation in vivo and in vitro. Hepatic specific SIRT6 deletion abolished ginsenoside Rc-derived protective effects against HFD-induced NAFLD. Conclusion: Ginsenosides Rc protects mice against HFD-induced hepatosteatosis by improving PPAR-α-mediated fatty acid oxidation and antioxidant capacity in a SIRT6 dependent manner, and providing a promising strategy for NAFLD.
