Objectives To revise Korean Medication Algorithm Project for Depressive Disorder 2017 (KMAPDD 2017) guidelines by revising antidepressant choices based on their safety, adverse effects, comorbid physical illnesses, and the clinical definition of treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Methods A 33-item questionnaire comprised of six parts was developed. A 65-expert consensus (65/97, 67.0%) was obtained on pharmacological treatment strategies regarding antidepressant choice with respect to safety, adverse effects, and comorbid physical illnesses. Multiple response sets were subjected to statistical analysis. Results The results obtained showed that first-line pharmacotherapeutic strategies based on various clinical considerations were as follows: mirtazapine (for patients with increased suicidality, Gastrointestinal discomfort, and insomnia), bupropion (for patients with orthostatic hypotension, history of a safety accident, serotonin syndrome, sedation, sexual dysfunction, and weight gain), and escitalopram (for patients with anticholinergic side effects). For patients exhibiting comorbid conditions, duloxetine was the first line pharmacotherapeutic strategy for chronic pain, escitalopram was the first-line pharmacotherapeutic strategy for diabetes, hypertension, liver disease, Parkinson’s disease, renal disease, epilepsy, and thyroid disease, and sertraline was a first-line pharmacotherapeutic strategy for arrhythmia and cardiovascular disease. Conclusion Pharmacological treatment strategy of KMAP-DD 2021 is similar to that of KMAPDD 2017. Additional study is required to determine antidepressant choices for TRD and cancer patients with depression.

The study compares the outcome of semantic network analysis based on consumer reviews in two different units of text: paragraph and sentence. Taking Apple Watch Series 4 as a case study, review data was collected from Amazon. The overall process consists of text preprocessing, centrality measures, and cluster analysis. In centrality measures, consumer reviews in paragraph unit can yield more affective adjectives that reveal emotions or feelings of consumers towards the product. On the other hand, more nouns representing product features can be generated from reviews in sentence unit. Comparing the results of cluster analysis, the performance of review data in sentence unit is better. Topics can be created in each cluster based on reviews in sentence unit, and the average number of related words in clusters based on reviews in sentences are bigger. In conclusion, the sentence unit is suggested for semantic analysis when the information about significant product features and topics is required, and the paragraph unit is suggested when the emotions or feelings of users toward the product are required.

This research proposes a reliability-based topology optimization (RBTO) using the finite element method. RBTO is a topology optimization based on probabilistic (or reliability) constraints. Young's modulus, thickness, and loading are considered as the uncertain variables and RBTO is applied to static and eigenvalue problems. The RBTO problems are formulated and a sensitivity analysis is performed. In order to compute probability constraints, two methods-RIA and PMA-are used. Several examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method by comparing the classical safety factor method.
잔향 생성기에서 실시간 마스킹 효과를 이용한 고속 컨벌루션 방법

With the advent of sound field simulator, many sound fields have been reproduced by obtaining the impulse responses of specific acoustic spaces like famous concert hall, opera house. This sound field reproduction has been done by the linear convolution operation between the sound input signal and the impulse response of certain acoustic space. However, the conventional finite impulse response based linear convolution operation always makes real-time implementation of sound field generator impossible due to the large amount of computational burden. This paper introduces the fast convolution method using perceptual redundancy in the processed signals, input audio signal and room impulse response. Temporal and spectral real-time masking blocks are implemented in the proposed convolution structure. It reduces the computational burden of convolution methods for real-time implementation of a sound field generator. The conventional convolutions are compared with the proposed one in views of computational burden and sound quality. In the proposed method, a considerable reduction in the computational burden was realized with acceptable changes in sound quality.

Many trials have been used to model room impulse responses, all attempting to provide efficient representations of room acoustics. The traditional model designs for room impulse response seem to fail in accuracy, controllability, or computational efficiency. In the time domain, room impulse responses are generally considered as combination of the three Parts having different acoustic characteristics, initial time delay, early reflection, and late reverberation. This paper introduces new learning hybrid model for room impulse responses. In this proposed model, those three parts are modeled using different models with learning algorithms that determine the boundary of each model in the hybrid model. By the simulation with measured room impulse responses, the performance of proposed model shows the best efficiency in views of computational burden and modeling error.
