Efficient Keyword Search Scheme in Encrypted Cloud Computing Environment

With the increasing popularity of cloud computing, more and more sensitive or private information has been outsourced onto the cloud server. For protecting data privacy, sensitive data usually has to be encrypted before outsourcing, which makes traditional search techniques based on plaintext useless. In response to the search over encrypted data, searchable encryption is a good solution in Information Security. However, most of existing searchable encryption schemes only support exact keyword search. That means they don’t support searching for different variants of the query word, which is a significant drawback and greatly affects data usability and user experience. Recently, a fuzzy keyword search scheme proposed by some researchers aims at addressing the problems of minor typos and format inconsistence but couldn’t solve the problem above. In this paper, we formalize the problem of semantic keyword-based search over encrypted cloud data while preserving privacy. Semantic keyword-based search will greatly improves the user experience by returning all the documents containing semantically close keywords related to the query word. In our solution, we use the stemming algorithm to construct stem set, which reduces the dimension of index. And the symbol-based trie is also adopted in index construction to improve the search efficiency. Through rigorous privacy analysis and experiment on real dataset, our scheme is secure and efficient.

The prevalence of encephalomyocarditis virus has brought about enormous financial losses to the swine industry throughout the globe. Chinese herbal medicines have potential antiviral activity which has been proved. Fifteen traditional Chinese medicine compounds were screened for anti-encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) activity. The maximum non-toxic concentration (MNTC), cytotoxic concentration 50% (CC50), maximal inhibition rate (MIR), and effective concentration 50% (EC50) against EMCV were measured using MTT and antiviral assays on baby hamster syrian kidney (BHK-21) cells. Two of the compounds, baicalin and matrine, with MIR > 50% and selective index (SI) > 3 were chosen for further virus load analysis. The results showed that the MIRs of baicalin and matrine were higher than that of positive control ribavirin while the SI values were much smaller than that of the control. Real-time quantitative PCR analysis demonstrated that baicalin and matrine have significant (p < 0.05) anti- EMCV activity compared to the control. It is a baseline study concluded that baicalin and matrine needs further development as an independent drugs or part of a Chinese medicine prescription for the treatment of EMCV infection.
Initiating Events Study of the First Extraction Cycle Process in a Model Reprocessing Plant

Background: Definition and grouping of initiating events (IEs) are important basics for probabilistic safety assessment (PSA). An IE in a spent fuel reprocessing plant (SFRP) is an event that probably leads to the release of dangerous material to jeopardize workers, public and environment. The main difference between SFRPs and nuclear power plants (NPPs) is that hazard materials spread diffusely in a SFRP and radioactive material is just one kind of hazard material. Materials and Methods: Since the research on IEs for NPPs is in-depth around the world, there are several general methods to identify IEs: reference of lists in existence, review of experience feedback, qualitative analysis method, and deductive analysis method. While failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is an important qualitative analysis method, master logic diagram (MLD) method is the deductive analysis method. IE identification in SFRPs should be consulted with the experience of NPPs, however the differences between SFRPs and NPPs should be considered seriously. Results and Discussion: The plutonium uranium reduction extraction (Purex) process is adopted by the technics in a model reprocessing plant. The first extraction cycle (FEC) is the pivotal process in the Purex process. Whether the FEC can function safely and steadily would directly influence the production process of the whole plant-production quality. Important facilities of the FEC are installed in the equipment cells (ECs). In this work, IEs in the FEC process were identified and categorized by FMEA and MLD two methods, based on the fact that ECs are containments in the plant. Conclusion: The results show that only two ECs in the FEC do not need to be concerned particularly with safety problems, and criticality, fire and red oil explosion are IEs which should be emphatically analyzed. The results are accordant with the references.

Co/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by sol-gel method with varied en (ethylenediamine)/Co molar ratios under the same pH. Their physical-chemical properties were compared with those prepared with similar en/Co molar ratios at natural pH or without adding ethylenediamine. Regardless of pH, the catalysts prepared using ethylenediamine possessed high microporosity, which led to a better selectivity to C5-18 hydrocarbons, versus the catalyst possessing higher mesoporosity which showed slightly higher C18+ selectivity. As enough positions in the coordination sphere were blocked by ethanediamine ligands, the formation of cobalt silicate disfavored for (en/Co=2) catalysts, which resulted in the higher activity in FT reaction. Whereas the catalysts prepared with lower or higher en/Co molar ratio both showed lower activity due to the formation of [(SiO)Co(en)(EtOH)3] species or the electronic adsorption of cobalt complexes in the negatively charged silica surface, respectively. However, for the catalyst without using ethylenediamine, the lowest activity and the highest CH4 selectivity obtained due to its much lower reducibility.
Research on the Evaluation of E-Commerce Logistics in the Cloud Computing Environment

Cloud computing has the advantages of low cost, large scale, general and scalable. In all areas of the social life and the economic life, the cloud computing is widely used. And the emergence of the cloud computing is another revolution in the information society. With the rapid development of e-commerce, the combination of e-commerce and cloud computing has been proved to be a win-win combination. But, there still are many problems of the e-commerce in the cloud computing environment, especially in logistics. In this paper, we establish the e-commerce logistics evaluation system in the cloud computing. And we use the e-commerce logistics evaluation method to evaluate the logistics in the cloud computing based on the improved entropy method. Finally, the experiments show that the proposed method can be effectively applied to the evaluation of e-commerce logistics in the cloud environment and the evaluation results are objective and effective.
Inhibiting N-Cadherin-Mediated Adhesion Affects Gap Junction Communication in Isolated Rat Hearts

Cadherin-mediated adherens junctions is impaired concomitant with a decrease in connexin 43 (Cx43) in diseases or pathological processes. We have investigated the acute effects of adherens junction impairment in isolated rat hearts by introducing Ala-His-Ala-Val-Asp-$NH_2$ (AHAVD, a synthetic peptide) as a specific inhibitor of N-cadherin. Effect of AHAVD on N-cadherin mediated adhension was analyzed by Cardiomy-ocyte aggregation assay. Laser confocal microscopy showed disrupted cell-cell contacts in cultured neonatal cardiomyocytes co-incubated with 0.2 mM AHAVD. In isolated adult rat hearts, Cx43 was redistributed along the bilateral of cardiomyocytes from the intercalated discs and significant dephosphorylation of Cx43 on serine368 occurred concomitantly with decreased gap junction (GJ) function in dose dependent manner after 1 h perfusion with AHAVD. These results indicate that impairing cad-herin-mediated adhesion by AHAVD rapidly results in Cx43 redistribution and dephosphorylation of serine368, thereby impairing GJ communication function.
A polymeric composite protective layer for stable Li metal anodes

Lithium (Li) metal is a promising anode for high-performance secondary lithium batteries with high energy density due to its highest theoretical specific capacity and lowest electrochemical potential among anode materials. However, the dendritic growth and detrimental reactions with electrolyte during Li plating raise safety concerns and lead to premature failure. Herein, we report that a homogeneous nanocomposite protective layer, prepared by uniformly dispersing AlPO 4 nanoparticles into the vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene matrix, can effectively prevent dendrite growth and lead to superior cycling performance due to synergistic influence of homogeneous Li plating and electronic insulation of polymeric layer. The results reveal that the protected Li anode is able to sustain repeated Li plating/stripping for > 750 cycles under a high current density of 3 mA cm −2 and a renders a practical specific capacity of 2 mAh cm −2 . Moreover, full-cell Li-ion battery is constructed by using LiFePO 4 and protected Li as a cathode and anode, respectively, rendering a stable capacity after 400 charge/discharge cycles. The current work presents a promising approach to stabilize Li metal anodes for next-generation Li secondary batteries.
